"No, no. That's way too risky, even for us." You resorted back and denied the thought out suggestion, leaning into the wall of your closed room. The two of you have been arguing on and off about doing something that could practically end your sufferable lives, if not done properly. You're kind of considering that idea of death, yet not really fond of the aftermath for your close family. Why are you even pondering about suicide right now? A small sigh escaped your throat as you down another spoonful of honey to ease your frustrating thoughts. You watched lazily as Sollux does the same, licking the spoon clean before dipping back into the half empty jar.
"It would be fucking awethome to see one of thothe meat bagth in perthon, pluth revenge to what they've all done to uth! Karkat, do you thee my point here? Thith is an all or nothing chance to thay 'fuck you' to the leaderth." His voice was pleading in every way possible at this point, almost close to desperate. You couldn't help but to feel a sense of honor yet be very offended at the way he's offering. Of course you're going to milk this moo-beast for as long as it lasts, considering before you pass the fuck out from the heaps of mind honey you've consumed. "I need you on thith mithion because you're dithcrete and know how to time thingth perfectly while under prethure."
If that was a compliment to your mental capability, you would've laughed right then and there, but you stuck to your senses for the occasion. You can use this to your advantage, "Since I'm obviously an important teammate and you're basically ready to lick my prostate clean, I have but only one demand before agreeing to this life or death situation."
Sollux arched an eyebrow and sat up off the floor, "I'm lithtening..."
"You're going to attend the horrendous social event called a 'book club' in honor of sacrificing my life." You deadpanned, making stern eye contact to the now wide-eyed yellow blood.
He paused for a second, possibly trying to process what you had just said. "That'th a joke, right?"
"Did I fucking stutter Captor? It certainly wasn't something to be laughing about, since you need me." You couldn't help but to bathe in the victory of your soft blackmail.
On the other hand of the deal, Sollux grumbled and dropped his spoon into the jar. "Fine, I'll go to the lame ath thing with you. That wath unexpected of you to even attend thomething ath disguthtingly relevant to your free time. Are you that bored of playing with yourthelf?"
"Okay, yeah, no. I'm backing away from this conversation as quickly as possible so, go suck a pile of hoof-beast manure for all I care." You barked out before running your fingers through the black strands of your hair. "But... Kanaya is worried about me and she thinks this shit is going to ease some stressors. I don't know, it's just one big clusterfuck to be completely honest."
"Ah, tho you're dragging me along to a therapiutical group to thuffer with you? That ith tho thoughtful of you K.K., really, it just warmth my heart." One of his hands pressed against his chest as his head tilted to the side. Why is he such an ass all the time?
You let out a scoff, "The only thing that warms up on your body is that disgrace you call a bulge."
Your friend waved the rude comment off and screwed the honey jar shut from any other attempt of consumption. You made a grab for it slowly but he pushed it away from reach and you bared your sharp teeth at him. The honey looks so lonely by itself, you just want to punch him in the face and eat it all. "Look, I don't need you fucked up when the job goeth down. Altho thince Vrithka ith apart of thith crew, you need to thober up before that bitch getth here."
"Wait what?" Your eyes widened, though it wasn't quite the surprise that she was attending. "Couldn't you find someone a bit more less annoyingly infatuated with themselves that are aware of human territory?"
"S'the'th my black quadrant, dragging her along wathn't my firtht choice. It'th rare to find any fucking troll thatth truthtworthy, the thame goeth for you, to do the job correctly with minor mithtaketh."
"I'm just going to say fuck you and leave the thought of her out of my inflated think pan, otherwise I'd be to the point of clawing my own globes out right about now." Even the thought of his kismesis, a troll relationship that loathes someone so much that they can't live without them, made your head spin with resentment. Or was it the honey? Either or, the same aspect was in place. You have no idea how Sollux could deal with such an arrogant, self absorbed troll.
The two of you bickered back and forth for a bit, at least until you've finally realized that she was apart of the team and wasn't going anywhere anytime soon. You're lost at words on how to describe the complexity of his quadrant. He's literally a low-blood with a high-blood affair, how? You wouldn't even get past the introduction without being beaten to a pulp, rather succeeding in a swooning process. Maybe Sollux has a special charm of unique douche-ness that attracts the chumbuckets, a fancy unpleasant word for high-bloods.
An obnoxious voice was heard as the unspeakable came barging in with all of her unwanted glory. You cringed at the sight of her blue lips curling into an uneasy frown of disgust and her nose scrunching up. "Wow, don't you guys smell like a glucose factory." She commented rudely, her fancy robotic arm cupping her face like a gas mask. Could she be more bland on things?
"It hasn't even been a minute and I feel like she needs to be executed from this mission." You stated blandly as your body curled away from the female in disinterest. You really don't like this troll.
"Guyth, can we pretend that we're the betht of friendth to get this fucking job done?" The two of you looked at each other and synchronized a shrug, which didn't please Sollux but he continued anyways. "Okay, tho K.K. you're in charge of look out and time management. V.V., you're the map there and back through the human community. If this playth out ath planned, we will be the godth of rebellion!"
Standing up from the mattress, you looked at Sollux with widened eyes and threw your hands into your hair. "Wait, what? I thought this was just another bullshit shenanigan!"
"Karkat," Sollux eyed you from his shades and gave you a stern stare down, "You are not wuthing out on me after all thith time. Get your thit and letth go."
From beside you, Vriska let out a laugh before slinging a duffle bag over her shoulder. You eyed her with a glare as she spoke, "What, is the lowblood too scared to assist in committing a few unexplained murders ~?"
What have you got to lose? Humans are the rodent species on this floating rock and they've treated you like a piece of manure since your hatching, as well as everyone above you, but that's besides the point. Are you really going to participate in such a dangerous plan? Well are you really going to let that one eyed chumbucket think you're a pupa? You think about both questions before proceeding to give the blue blood a nice serving of 'middle finger', shoving past her to collect some essentials.
You pocketed your phone and slipped on a worn out hoodie over yourself, black to be exact. You're not wanting to be seen much and the hoodie would cover almost everything, luckily your horns being small enough unlike the others.
Glancing over at the other two that are seemingly making death threats to each other in a whispered manner, you shake your head and more envy flowed into your pathetic think-pan before busting out. "Hey! Stop whimsically flirting over there or you both are going to be covered in some not-so-pleasant-vomit!"
Vriska gave a roll to her working eye and shoved at the yellow blood, making him stumble and give a sneer. "Lets just go."
