"My mom doesn't know anything, I was beaten by my father first before mom came. And you know what if Daddy beat me up." Allam replied calmly.
"Well, that's just my thought..and I also can't believe you you didn't do it because I knew you were drunk that night." said Fazrani trying to accept the fact that Allam had indeed done it.
And why her heart still doesn't accept it if Allam has done it.
"Go to sleep late." Allam said as he sat, bending his legs to give Fazrani a place behind him to lie down.
"You do not sleep?" asked Fazrani as she climbed into the bamboo hall and lay down against the wall.
"I can't sleep my back and my chest still feels wet." Allam said with a bowed face when Fazrani who was lying on his side suddenly got up and sat facing him and took off her veil.
"I forgot to not take off my veil, I used to cover it in front of other people, and now I take it off in front of my husband." said Fazrani with a heart that was actually very embarrassed because this was the first time she did it in front of Allam.
"Put on your veil again Fazrani I beg you." Allam said in a trembling voice as he closed his eyes with his face suddenly pale.
Fazrani quickly covered her face with the veil again. Fazrani's gaze could not stop staring at Allam's face, which was very pale and tense with trembling hands.
"What's wrong with you, does my face scare you?" Fazrani asked, touching Allam's face, which was still black and blue.
Allam's eyes closed even more, with his breath starting to become irregular, cold sweat began to flow down Allam's forehead.
"What's the matter with you Lam?" asked Fazrani again with a million questions in her heart.
"I'm fine, please give me some time to accept all of this. I am the one who was mean to you and now I am married to you. This is a burden of my guilt for you getting bigger...I beg Fazrani to give me time to be alone I want to forgive myself first." Allam said with a pitiful and wailing look.
Fazrani looked at Allam with an increasingly clueless mind.
"What are you hiding from me Allam?" Fazrani asked herself trying to find out what happened after she passed out.
"Allam you know where your friends are now?" asked Fazrani who did not want to hate innocent people.
And why is her heart so sure that Allam is innocent.
"Why are you asking them? I will not answer, it's already late sleep." Allam replied giving the blanket to Fazrani.
"Well, I won't ask you again but for you to know, I will find out the truth myself." said Fazrani receiving the blanket from Allam and trying to sleep.
Allam was silent and did not deny a single word from Fazrani.
"You do not sleep?" asked Fazrani again seeing Allam just sitting in silence.
"Go to sleep Fazrani." Allam replied with a face that looked complicated because Fazrani was still talking.
"All right, wake me up in an hour for evening prayers." Said Fazrani closing her eyes trying to sleep even though her heart was still filled with many questions.
When Fazrani was fast asleep, Allam looked fully at the face of Fazrani who fell asleep wearing a veil.
Slowly he touched Fazrani's forehead with great affection.
"Let everything be a secret in my heart only Fazrani, I don't want you to love me just because I feel sorry for me. I promise you Fazrani I will make you happy, I will be a good husband for you in both the world and the hereafter." Allam said to himself with a tear that trickled down the corner of his eyes.
While waiting for the time to run, Allam did not let go of looking at Fazrani's face and kept his full eye so that Fazrani could sleep comfortably.
"Fazrani ... wake up." called Allam with his voice getting hoarse, his throat getting sore due to the impact of the cut on his lips which made it a little difficult to drink or eat anything.
Fazrani opened her eyes slowly, slightly surprised and afraid that Allam would be beside her.
"Oh my God, I'm sorry .. I was surprised that earlier, it didn't mean anything. And you yourself, are you not tired of sitting sideways like this, your right leg must be pulled and it must be very painful." said Fazrani while wiping her eyes.
"It's okay, don't worry about me." Allam said, shifting back to straighten his legs, which really hurt.
"I pray first, you don't pray?" asked Fazrani with a look that was still sleepy.
"I had to be purified first after seven days of searching for identity and knowing all the mistakes I had done. Seven days here to punish oneself and then purify oneself, if I were to die in these seven days it means it was my destiny to die in a bad state." Allam said as his father had told him before.
Fazrani was silent, judging Allam to be very smart and educated because everything that Allam said did not show the language and tone of the street people.
While talking to his mother, or answering questions from his father. Allam never denied the slightest. Then why does Allam make friends with bad people ?? And again the law of shackles why not let Allam pray. What a strange Village Law!
"Fazrani, why are you silent?" Allam asked, worried.
"It's okay, I want to pray first." said Fazrani walking out and going to the special prayer room.
Allam looked at Fazrani's departure with a heart that began to feel restless.
"Looks like Fazrani doesn't believe what I'm saying, I hope Fazrani can love me before he finds out everything." Allam muttered with his hand rubbing his chest, the pain from the broken bottle that had stuck in his chest.
After praying and reading the Qur'an, Fazrani returned to the holy house and saw Allam who was in pain.
"Does the wound on your chest hurt?" asked Fazrani, which made Allam surprised and immediately withdrew his hand.
"Absolutely not, I just wiped it." Allam said with his facial expression back to normal.
"I'll take a look." Said Fazrani sitting next to Allam stretching her hand to Allam's chest.
"I told you I'm okay Fazrani." Allam said holding Fazrani's hand with his.
Allam's heart skipped a beat, his heart was beating fast as the skin of his hands grabbed Fazrani's palms.
Fazrani was silent allowing Allam to hold her hand.
"Sorry, I just don't want you to touch it." Allam said guiltily.
"But I want to touch it, let me do my duty as a wife who cares for my husband who is sick again." said Fazrani insisting on removing the bandage that looked open.
"Fazrani." Called Allam with a feeling of despair facing Fazrani's stubbornness who was still opening his bandage.
"What is wrong?" Fazrani's gaze penetrated Allam's heart.
"Please stop, don't torture me like this anymore." Allam said in a trembling voice.
