** 2 Months later**
> Gon's POV<
Chocolate or vanilla? Why was life so full of impossible decisions?! On the one hand chocolate is amazing but on the other hand vanilla... argh! I can't choose! "If I may..." the person at the front who seemed to be getting incredibly impatient with my indecisiveness said. I turned my attention to her. "Maybe you should try the chocolate, it's way better than plain vanilla."
"Uh... Okay!" You didn't have to do vanilla like that though. She handed me the ice cream after a few seconds and I took it from her while handing over the cash. "Thanks!" I say and walk over to a table.
I start eating my ice cream. The woman wasn't wrong, the chocolate tasted heavenly. It tasted even better because of how hot it was outside and the lack of air conditioning in the building. As I was eating my ice cream I heard the bell at the top of the door ring, I looked up, my curiosity as always had gotten the better of me. There in front of me was a boy. He looked to be about my age too. He looked to be slightly taller than me and he was pure white. In fact he was whiter than the marshmallows that me and Aunt Mito had roasted last night. His skin was a ghostly pale, but that was nothing in comparison to his hair. His hair was like thin strands of ice that were intertwining and acting as his hair. He didn't look at me so I couldn't really see his eyes but from here they looked to be a deep shade of purple. What an odd eye color.
The boy went up to the counter and ordered a medium Hot Chocolate. After a few minutes he received his drink, he went to sit in the far corner of the room. Before I knew what was happening, I started to stand up and walk over to the strange boy.
As I approach he slowly looks up at me and the first thing I notice is that I got the color of his eyes wrong. They were actually a deep, yet bright, shade of blue. If I had to describe him in one word, it would definitely be cat-like, his entire... everything seems cat-like! I looked at him and smiled as wide as I could. He seemed pretty down and everybody knows that smiling makes everyone feel better. "Hi! I'm Gon!" I said cheerfully. The boy looked kind of shocked that I was talking to him. I wonder why that is.
"I'm Killua," he said. This time I was surprised, I wasn't expecting him to actually reply. I decided to sit down in front of him.
"When's your birthday? Mine is on May 5, I'm turning 16." I paused, "What about you?"
"I'm turning 16 on July 7." He said sounding kind of out of it.
"Woah! We're the same age!" Awesome! "Are you ok? You look kind of pale."
"This?" He asked motioning to himself. I nodded. "I was born quite pale. But you're not wrong, I do need to get something to eat." He looked at me deviously.
"You can come to my house if you want. My Aunt Mito can make you some waffles or something."
"Hm?" He looked kind of confused as to why I was telling him to come over. He smiled, "Thanks but no thanks, I highly doubt you have the food I need." This time it was my turn to look at him confused. What did he mean by the type of food he needs? Killua seemed to notice my confusion and said, "I'm on a special diet, though it's hard to get the food I need. And I can only break it once in a while, but if I eat what I need, I can handle other food too. Tell you what, why don't we meet here again same time tomorrow? Ok?"
I nodded my head like a maniac, "ok!" The albino boy nodded once and headed out the door. I'm not gonna pretend I'm not curious to what his little diet consists of, but I can wait until tomorrow to ask him. I smiled and finished my ice cream before heading home.

Third person POV:
"Hey! I'm back Aunt Mito!" Gon yelled as he walked in the small house in the hill.
"Welcome back Gon. Did anything interesting happen in town today?" Her focus remaining on trying not to cry from the onion she was cutting.
"Yeah! I found a new friend!" Gon said happily. Gon never really had any good friends, and the ones he did have didn't really like him all that much. They called him a bother all the time and we're always too busy to hangout. But when they needed help, they would go straight to Gon. It made him happy to know he was of some use to them. "His name is Killua, and he's my age."
"That's nice. Does he go to your school?"
"I... actually don't know..." Gon laughed nervously.
"Hmmm... well it's nice to see you making new friends. The ones you already have are nice enough, but I think you need someone to relate to more. Now go get your homework done before dinner."
"Ok Aunt Mito!" Gon ran up to his room and closed his door. He looked warily at his backpack. Do I really have to do this bull? He asked in his head. He sighed before grabbing his homework and a pencil. Time to sacrifice my brain and all the time of day doing work that I'm supposed to learn so I can be successful in the future even though I'm never going to use it.
He spent the next 3 and a half hours doing his math homework. Now all he had to do was fill in a few questions on the English quiz and he could eat dinner.
This quiz was actually harder than he thought it would be. It was only 10 questions, but they were long ones that made you write full paragraphs in order to get it right. "Dinner's ready Gon!" Mito's voice rang from downstairs startling him.
He sat up and quickly put his stuff away before heading downstairs. "Coming!" He called back down.
He ran as fast as he possibly could to the dinner table. What? He was hungry. He could smell the intoxicating scent of his Aunt Mito's hire (he-rayh) katsu sandwiches, in other words, his absolute favorite meal!
Gon leaped into his seat and didn't wait for anyone to come to the table. He said a quick prayer, "thank you lord for inventing hire katsu sandwiches and I would love it if you made school get cancelled for a month or two. Thank you, amen." The over excited boy then dug into his food.
He heard a laugh coming from in front of him, but he was too set on eating his sandwiches to look up. "Slow down Gon, and if you wouldn't mind... Save some for me!" She said in a clearly fake angry tone.
"Sorry, Aunt Mito." Gon laughed nervously, though Aunt Mito was struggling to understand the muffled words coming from the young boy's stuffed mouth.
"So why don't you tell me more about your new friend?" She suggested.
Gon brightened up at the subject. "Okay!" He exclaimed excitedly. "His name is Killua and he's 2 months younger than me. He's like a swan almost or maybe I guess a fluffy white cat."
"A fluffy white cat?"
"Yeah! He's super pale. Like really really pale. And he has the whitest hair I've ever seen! It's lighter than grandma's hair!"
"Grandma has grey hair Gon."
"W-whatever... anyways... he was even wearing a white t-shirt over a blue long sleeved shirt. Not to mention that his eyes were the brightest blue ever!"
"Okay... so why'd you say a fluffy white cat?"
"I don't know. I guess just something about him was very cat-like." Gon shrugged and finished his food. "I'm gonna go see him again at the ice cream shop tomorrow too!"
"Ok... but make sure to be careful, ok?"
"Of course, Aunt Mito!" Gon quickly put away his plate and ran upstairs to get ready for bed. As soon as he was ready he decided to look out the window to see if there were any animals out. He blinked and could've sworn he saw a flash of white run across the forest, he blinked again and it was gone. Huh, was all he thought before climbing into bed and falling asleep.
Aunt Mito's POV:
I'm glad that Gon found a friend but, I'm worried about what he's getting himself into. I've never heard of or seen an albino boy in these parts. Plus, Gon tends to stray towards the wrong group of people a lot, just take all his current friends for example. They all treat him like crap, but he's too dense to ever notice it. I don't want him to get hurt from this. First, he was abandoned by Ging, and then he can't make any real friends. I just don't want this Killua boy to hurt him.
It seems to me that Gon doesn't know much about this boy either, so can I really let him go into town tomorrow to meet a boy he knows nothing about? What if this Killua kid is dangerous? I've heard about supernatural occurrences happening around the area lately. One person was going missing every night. Everybody just assumed they were dead, but, no bodies were found. What if Killua is the one causing this? I can't let my son near a serial killer! But, what if I'm just overreacting? I mean, this could be Gon's chance to make a real friend. And there's no proof that Killua is behind all of this. I'll just have to follow Gon tomorrow to try and get as much information as I can. That's easier said than done though. Gon has the eyes of a hawk, the nose of a wolf, the hearing of a bat, and the stomach capacity of blue whale. It's almost impossible to sneak by him, especially if he knows what you look like. But, I have to follow somehow... I guess I'll just think of something on the way.
**Ok I hope you enjoyed this chapter, I'm hoping to make a LOT of fluff in this before I put in the plot (totally not because I don't have one yet 😅). If you have any suggestions pls write them in the comments. Also comment what you want the random fangirl to say. I think I'll edit her in based off of the comments, because why not?
