Twenty-four basic hunters dressed in all black coats equipped with different we're killing weapons. And there I stood froze in my position as I gazed at them, not knowing what to do. But even though I was terrified somewhere inside of me was boiling with rage.
"Is that the boy," a hunter said.
"Yes, he fits the description," a masked hunter said.
"You come here!" he yelled while pointing towards me.
But before anything else could happen my mother cast a spell, blowing the hunters a few feet backward outside the courtyard.
"Tchh, a witch," the masked hunter said.
"She's going to be a tricky one," another hunter said."
"Don't worry, we have numbers" the masked hunter said.
Just as the hunters in front were getting ready to engage in battle with my mom, she placed up a barrier around the house. Right between the hunters and us.
"Just attack the barrier until its collapses," the masked hunter yelled.
Ten hunters pulled their swords as they charged at the barrier at an immense speed. They pounded over and over, consistently trying to break the barrier. My mother was there giving it her all as I stood there and watch.
"Freidich! Get out of here now and remember your mother loves you," she turned and yelled at me.
"N-no mother, I can't just sit around and watch you die, let me help!" I yelled back.
"Listen to me, go NOW!" She yelled with tears forming in her eyes.
But soon after she said that her magic powers started to weaken.
"Haha, keep attacking she's running out of mana," the masked hunter yelled with a smirk.
As I noticed this rage just kept building up inside me but I didn't move I couldn't move, though I wanted to.
*BOOM*
The barrier shattered as hunters charged at my mother. Ten hunters surrounded her worth their swords were drawn. The other hunters made their way as the masked man approached her.
"Little queen, it seems your time is up and it will be your son's turn next," the masked man said with a smirk as he took off his mask. To my surprise, he looked ordinary with pitch-black hair and hazel eyes.
"Please just leave my son out of this," my mother pleaded.
"Sorry, chiefs order," the masked man said as he took out a silver knife and aim at my mother's throat. My mothers closed her eyes awaiting what's to come.
But that's when it happened. At that moment that I saw the knife slowly approach my mother's neck. A blood raging anger awoke inside my body.
Something so vicious that wanted to explode inside of me. A power that slowly crept until it was the moment of truth to appear. And in an instant, I was now standing in front of my mother with my hand pierced through the masked man's chest grabbing hold of his heart. Immediately the masked man's heart popped like it was a ballon.
*POP*
*cough, cough*
He choked as I slowly slid him of my arm and dropped his body to the floor.
I then turned around to hunters staring in fear. Eyes wide open not missing a single detail of what just happened. Even their mouths were wide open as if they were gasping for air. Even my mother was sitting there in front of me shocked.
To them, what they saw wasn't normal. Though I had grown claws and fangs and tiny hairs, there were some differences with my transformation than that of other werewolves.
To them, my canines were doubled, instead of four, I had eight. Four at the top and four at the bottom. And then, there were my eyes, eyes that glowed a bright green.
The hunters then recollected themselves before what of them said, "No matter what he is, he's just one person, so charge!!" he rallied the hunters surrounding me and my mother.
As the vision of them harming my mother flashed before my eyes, I vanished from my spot only to remember my hand grasping hold, the head of the hunter who was rallying the others.
*THUD*
The body of a headless corpse fell to the ground. At that moment, the hunters finally realized what they were dealing with.
