Chereads / Twice the Alpha / Chapter 7 - First Day

Chapter 7 - First Day

"Freidich! You lazy son wake up!" the voice of my mother shook me back to reality to the point where I fell off the bed onto my buttocks.

"I'm getting ready mother!" I yelled back after I came to the realization that I had school this morning.

I hurriedly cleanse my teeth leaving them spotless before taking a quick ten-minute shower. I hopped out of the shower and dried myself before heading back to my room to get dressed. An all dark blue Rambali tracksuit with red and white lines on the sides accommodated with my low-top Rambali shoe designs with double Rs on one flank.

Sad to say but the old man got guap, I remembered he got me these designer clothes back when I was fifteen. But I've no clue as to why he lives out here in a plain grassy field. Oh, I mentioned the word guap well, you see that was this continent's currency just FYI.

Now that I was wholly ready I trudged out of my quarters before closing the portico behind me. I sauntered towards the kitchen when I seized sight of my mother remedying breakfast and the old man squatted at the table as he read a magazine. Before I could utter a phrase they're gapes both snapped back at me. I became perplexed with a tinge of confusion as I arched my eyebrows.

"What's the matter? Why are you both staring at me like that," I asked.

"That's a robust odor you're emitting boy, " the old man said as he scrolled through the magazine.

"What fragrance did you use?" my mother then inquired with wide-open eyes.

Odor? Fragrance? I thought before implying, "I never used any incense, and what is this odor you speak of".

"That's funny, but your body is slowly releasing an aphrodisiac aroma that could drive the women crazy. You'll develop into an Alpha if you pump in a few," the old man laughed as he proclaimed this.

"Shut it you!" my mother yelled at the old man who fastens his mouth and went back to reading.

"As for you, be careful! What the old man said is true and though I might not be affected because I'm a witch but the same can't be said for the others," my mother continued as her gaze met me eye to eye.

Aroma? Drive women crazy? Pump a few? I didn't ask for this dammit! Wait! Maybe....just maybe...I desired this I reckoned with a hidden smile.

"Wipe that smile off your face! I know what your thinking!" My mother sneered at me.

Goddammit! I thought that was perfect. Woman and their intuition I sighed in my head.

I brushed her off and promptly sat by the furniture awaiting my morning meal. My mother dished out three plates containing a whole tortilla filled with vegetables, salsa, and low-fat shredded cheese. I almost forgot that today was a healthy day, Tuesday.

"Thank you for the food!" I said simultaneously with the old man.

"Your welcome gentleman," my mother replied.

In an instant, with my two hands grasping both the fork and knife I devoured my breakfast like the hungry wolf I am.

*SLAP*

"Oww!" I screeched with my mouth now lopsided as a chunk of sustenance fell from the accessible area.

My mother had tapped my wrist as she said, "Have some etiquette!"

"Ahh sorry mother. For some reason, I feel like I'm starving," I replied with a weary smile. So scary I thought.

Seeing that I was finished I got up from around the furniture and progressed to my bathroom to scrub my teeth once again. I came back out to my mother fully formulated to flee for school.

"Are you ready," she asked.

"Ahh, yes!" I responded.

"Then let's go!" she said.

And before I knew it I vanished alongside my mother and was now standing in front of a city. What the? Teleportation? I thought.

"We've arrived, Frei! This is the city known as Laguna Creek!" the mother exclaimed with a smile as she turned to face me.

"Laguna's Creek huh?" I spouted as I looked upon the city.

It was quite captivating. Beyond the pathway that led towards the city, you could see a vast sea underneath. After that, there were towering exquisite-like constructions of all sorts located within the cities vicinity.

"Come and stop gawking," my mother said.

Snapping back to validity I replied, "Yes sorry!"

I unhurriedly followed my mother as we walked over the pathway into the city. She boarded a sidewalk before strolling to what I presume was a cab stop. I came to that conclusion when I realized the people that crammed the area were entering passing vehicles one by one.

"Let's hurry!" my mother said as she hurriedly wandered towards a cab that stopped. She urged me to enter with her following behind. Before anyone else could do the equivalent she closed the door accordingly and announced to the designated driver, "I'd like this ride to be private."

Inferring what that indicated the driver then drove off departing behind irritated prospects who had their teeth clenched. As the conveyance proceeded smoothly I stared through the window at the marvelous panorama. The driver took twists and turns as I inspected the civilization on the boulevards and the captivating edifices.

To the typical eyes, this society could be recognized as what you call normal but not to me. I could glimpse each supernatural individual who roamed the streets with my Omega eyes.

Plopping that aside, there were stores, diners, stadiums, leisure, and many more amongst the establishments that I also observed. While I was relinquished in the vista my mother was mislaid in her device.

About thirty minutes had passed before we arrived at a facility with "Granview" inscribed boldly on the veneer. Before exiting the cab my mother reimbursed the driver. I too followed suit as I crouched to vacate the cab.

Darn it! Why do I have to be so tall! What a headache! I exclaim in my head. The driver went on his way as I addressed my mother who awaited me.

"So this is the school huh?" I said as I stared at the building.

"Yep! It's the most prestigious institute in Lagunas Creek," my mother informed me before continuing,

"Well then, what are you waiting for? Let's go!"

I quickly paced behind my mother as she embarked on the entrance. There was a parking lot with a variety of diverse vehicles on either side of the foyer. Though the foyer itself had a circular turn which seemed if a vehicle were to drive in they could proceed to 180 their path back out.

Other than that, there were a ton of students chatting and cackling as they made their journey into the school canvas. Directly after penetrating the school's portico my mother took a left towards another portico with the word "Office" jotted down above it. Without further ado, we went in and she then took a right before strolling down towards a lady who sat by a computer.

"Hello there, I'm here to retrieve my son's schedule for his classes," my mother said as she placed her hands against the desk between the lady and herself.

The lady looked up then went into shock as she replied, "Oh! Principal Mrs. Jager-Wolff."

"Yes, that is me. Good morning to you too but can you quickly fetch the schedule that I've just asked for?" My mom asserted but behind her calm voice was a colder tone.

"Ahh! Yes ma'am!" The lady shrieked as she progressed to do what she was asked.

Principal? I thought my mother was a mere teacher. Who the hell is that old man to get her in such a position? I thought with a perplexed expression.

Soon after the lady came back and handed my mother my schedule which she then handed to me. Is this a relay? I asked myself in a joking manner before I amassed the schedule.

As we exited the office my mother explained the foundation of the school," As you can see this is the main corridor which is also the first floor. Up there to your right is where the Cafeteria is located with a few other classes. To your left is where you'll find the Gym with also a few other classes. The numbers for each class on the first floor are 100-199. Directly in front of you behind that wall are the stairs you can use to go higher if not you can always seize the elevator.

On the upper floors, the classes are easy to locate exactly like the first. On the second floor the numbers on the doors are 200-299, and on the third is 300-399. Use the numbers on your schedule to locate your class, you don't have to memorize the teachers' names. Well, that's all I can tell you for now because I have work to do so stay safe and don't get lost," my mother ended as she departed from me.

"Hey! You never told me you're the principal!" I spouted as she walked away. She turns around to stick her tongue out and made a mocking face.

Damn! Now I feel stranded. Whatever let's just check my first class I thought. Oh, I have third-floor biology....room 333 is it! Let's get a move on then I thought.

I quickly ambled promptly ahead of me and strode around the wall to locate the stairs. I unhurriedly trudged up each step enacting a few students on my path. A couple of seconds passed and I was now on the third floor.

I was now faced with three hallway accommodated by a bunch of students that coordinated the area. Luckily not everyone stared at me seeing that they were occupied indulging in their gossips. The most annoying thing was that I could hear every word spoken with my heightens hearing. How irritating I thought. I immediately observed the three pathways furthermore and saw three different plates plastered on the walls before each hallway with a number written on them.

The hall on the left had the numbers 300-325, down the middle had the numbers 326-375, whilst the one on the right had the numbers 376-399. I guess it's down the middle than I thought after realizing the number 333 landed between that section. I began to stroll down that hall and that's when more eyes laid upon me. Maybe it was my attire, maybe it was my appearance or maybe it was my height. There were too many things that could make one gape at me.

Without giving them any attention I surveyed for the number 333 and surprisingly it was in the middle of the hallway. Before I could embark on the vestibule someone interrupted my day.

"Hey, there you must be a new kid huh? What ya got going on punk!" The voice exclaimed.

I looked back to see a boy who had dark red hair and black eyes with his arm wrapped around a shockingly beautiful girl. What a waste. She's dating the school bully huh? I spoke inwardly.

"So what if I'm new here? You got a problem with it short stack." I said with a domineering tone and also because I was lankier than him hahaha.

Veins surfaces across his forehead after hearing what I said. His girl on the other hand was looking at me with a curious...I'm not sure....but an interesting smile.

"You think your a tough guy aye mate? Let me tell you something. I'm the boss around here." The boy said.

I ignored him, completely, and just resumed entering my classroom. I'm not sure what expression either he or his girl had but I didn't care. I smoothly approached the assumed teacher who is a stunning beauty. Dark blue elongated hair, orange eyes, and an exceptional physique carrying her mountain peaks.

I placed my schedule before her. She looked up at me and said with a smile,

"Oh! You're the new student? I've heard a lot about you from your mother. But I do have to say you're more appealing in person."

What the fuck did my mother tell you, lady? Uh-uh, no way! Don't look at me like that! Something might occur and you definitely won't like it I thought before replying.

"Really now? Well thank you but I'd like to know where I'm to be seated."

She seemed taken aback by my response but then told me to sit anywhere I like. I proceeded to her response and chose to sit towards the back left of the class.

*DINGALING! LING! LING! LING!*

The bell rang and I saw students quickly entering my class to grab a seat. Amongst those students were the couple that disturbed me a moment ago. And it agitated me even more because they sat right next to me. Well, the girl did whilst the boy sat over next to her right.

The teacher stood up and stepped in front of the chalkboard before saying," Goodmorning students! It's a good thing no one is late this-"

Before she could finish a tall brown curly haired with student with hazel eyes busted through the door. The teacher gave him a stare of death because she just jinxed herself. The student shortly found his seat after diverting his eyes from her. He supposedly sat inform of me.

"As I was saying. I'm happy you all were on time except for a certain someone. Right Ian?" the teacher continued as she looked at the boy in front of me.

"Ahh sorry miss. I'll try not to do it again." Ian replied with a nervous smile.

"Anyways, if you haven't noticed yet we have received a new student. Would you mind introducing yourself?" the teacher said as she looked directly at me.

Ughhh!! Not the introductions! I cried inwardly to the phrase that escaped her lips.

I got up and walked towards the front of the class before turning to face them and said," Hello my classmates. The name Freidich Jager-Wolff but you all can call me Frei. I'll be in your care from this day on and I hope we all can get along."

With the way, I expressed myself most of the girls were in awe of my charms. The boys on the other hand...I'm not sure....paid them little attention.

"Good. You can head back to your seat," the teacher said.

And I proceeded to do so. Before approaching my seat I saw the boy glaring at me in anger. Then I nonchalantly sat down to his girl, yet again, staring at me.

What the hell is your problem woman!? Why are you glaring at me! Am I a movie! I exclaimed inwardly though as I gazed back to the teacher who proceeded with her lessons.

......

Minutes passed with me being uninterested in the class's topic before I raised my hand and requested to use the bathroom. To be honest, I just yearned to get away from that boy's girl who kept stealing glances at me. And of course, the teacher allowed me to go.

After quickly exiting the classroom and walking midway down the hall someone came behind. Using my hearing I could sense it was a girl. Then using my smell I could minimize the possibility of who it could be. But only one person had that smell.

The girl who kept staring at me!
