Chapter 59 - CHAPTER FIFTY NINE

JAMIE'S POV

My face reddens as I thought about the words that just came out of my mouth. Glancing at my mother-in-law, sitting beside me laughing her ass off. If she wasn't here, I would have definitely cuss out these two guys out in the front seat.

Logan climbs into the vehicle, taking a drink and passing it over to his mom, before handing one to me. I refused.

Logan tilts his head and looks at me, "you need to go to the washroom?" he knows me too well. While we were dating I won't drink anything much, because I would need to use the washroom immediately. I visited the doctors many times because of it, but there were no problems. Maybe it's because I was always nervous around Logan.

Shaking my head, "no, I'm good for now" I smile shyly.

"Don't worry Princess, I will have a potty in place for you in your favorite vehicle." Justin had to throw something in.

"Shut up" I tell him.

Chuckling, Justin sips from a cup and laughs, as he starts driving out of the compound, "so a bud from my unit said that his mom told him that if you hates on someone while you're pregnant, the baby takes some traits of the person the pregnant person hates" Justin laughs.

"And your point is?" I prompt him to continue.

"Don't be hating me" he chuckles as Logan swaps him on the head.

"Hey" he protests, at Logan, before sending me a wink in the rearview mirror.

Logan opens a box of grill patatoes, toss salad and grilled shrimp, but I can't tell him that since my pregnancy, that I detest this combination now.

"What do you have there?" I asked, slightly leaning forward, suddenly craving whatever Logan got for himself.

"Bar-b-que pork, baked patatoes and macaroni" he tells me, scoping out his lunch.

Handing him my box, "I think princess Jasmine, wants to ex-change with you" I pushed my box closer to him.

Twitching an eyebrows at me, "oh, so I'm suppose to just give you my lunch because my daughter wants it?" he sounds as if I'm on a witness stand.

"Well, I don't eat port" I joked and mom smiled.

Logan still hesitated, "mom will you share with me please?" I asked mom, who willing give me her box and I gave her mines.

"Here" Logan hands me his box. "I got you and mom the same thing.

"Logan her tastes would change during the next few months, so bare with her" mom explains.

"Here take it please" Logan says. "I'm sorry for not sharing something you don't like with you" Logan smiles.

"The pressure now start bud" Justin jokes as we head home to the unrest that awaits us, in the forms of Logan's grandfather and my sister.

I ate some of Logan's lunch, putting most of the food in the box I give him, so I won't waste much.

As we drove into the driveway leading to mom's mansion, my body started tensing up and I automatically turned to mom for help.

Mom held my hand as I started collecting the empty food containers and cups to put in one bag, to dispose of.

Justin drove round back and my stomach felt like it was going to fly out because of my nervousness.

Justin and Logan got out first and they both came to assist me.

"Go straight to your room" mom advises me. "I will handle them. I'll send Gwen to assist you" she said but Logan heard her and said that he'll handle it.

Logan lifted me up the stairs, while Justin followed with the chair.

"Maybe you could fix a room downwards for me" I suggested

At a quick glance at Logan's face, I see him cringing. He's in pain and I'm making him lift me. Giving Justin, who was following us a sad look as he nods. Did Logan mention the pain he's in?

Logan went back down to retrieve some documents that a maid mention came in for him and I used that opportunity to quickly speak to Justin.

"Call my brother and ask him to come over now and convince your friend to fix a room downwards so that I won't have to be carried all the time." I instructed him.

Pulling out his phone, he nods and walk back out, when dad comes in.

"Jamie, how was your doctor's visit?" he asks politely.

Shrugging, "uh, the same, I think. Other than some pressure problems because of stress, I'm good" I smiled.

His features changed instantly, "what happen?" he asked, genuinely concerned.

Laughing softly, "I have a request though" I told him, noticing his worry lines start increasing. "And it's good, don't worry" I emphasized, "Is I possible to have a room downstairs now? So that I could maneuver that" I point to the chair.

Chuckling, "already on it" he confirms.

Confused, I frown

"I knew it was going to get difficult later on, so I already started preparing a room and its ready" he excitingly claps his hand.

Sitting on the bed, "that's really thoughtful of you" I told him.

"Anything for my granddaughter" he grins, then frowns, "you are having a girl right?" he asks, "because Fran is already working on a line for her" he smiles hopefully.

Raising my hands palms upwards, "that's what your son said" I told him.

With a lopsided smile, "then it's a boy, but let's not burst Fran's bubble" he laughs heartily.

The smile on his face slowly disappears and worry lines takes it place.

Pulling a chair he comes to sit in front of me, "did Logan talk to you?" he asks.

Realizing this is his only reason for coming in, I just nodded.

"In a nutshell, this is it" he says, " when Logan was under dad's care, even though he was underage, he did some questionable things that his mother and I were not privy to until now" he said sadly.
