Have you ever wondered where they all came from? The Tigons!. Throughout history, they are known to be creatures with extraordinary powers. True masters of flame. Some good. Some bad. Each clinging to their own destinies as they forge our world, but...where did they all come from? I for one wonder...Who was the first of their kind?
A door opens, and a cocky young man with black curly hair and amber-colored eyes appears. He's dress in a dark blue t-shirt and black jeans with a black leather jacket to match. Standing in the doorway he takes a bite from an apple he held in his hand. He begins to look around the room, and within moments he finds who he was looking for. It was his grandfather Nolan who was tidying up the room.
Nolan was surprisingly well built for his age, which was about close to sixty. He wore a red plaid shirt with the sleeves rolled up and blue jeans. A large scar trailed down his left eye with a black eye patch covering the rest. It was clear he was missing an eye, his other eye was the same amber-color as his grandson.
Nolan turned his sights towards the door as it opens, but turned back to his work when he saw it was his grandson Lance. He didn't care much to give a reply. Lance took a quick sniff just after wiping the juices from his mouth with his sleeve. As he entered the room, He ask his grandfather what he was up to.
" Hey, old man what's going on", Lance bark still chewing on the apple.
" Must you talk with your mouth full boy " Nolan scolded with an intimidating and rugged voice.
" What can I say; I am a wild animal ", Lance chuckle through a full mouth.
" How the Fates place you as my grandson I will never know " Nolan sighed in disappointment, " If you must know, am cleaning ".
" Cleaning ?. You think you should be doing that right now ?", Lance replied, looking confused about his grandfather's reply.
" Well!. What else am I going to do to pass the time? ", Nolan replied, Irritated by Lance's question " Instead of standing there asking stupid questions, why don't you give me a hand ? ".
" Why? It's not my stuff " Lance quickly replied. feeling like he was just offered poison.
"Why? because maybe a little hard work might keep that smart mouth of yours shut for awhile" Nolan snapped.
" Whatever old man", Lance replied with a discouraging tone " Just tell me what you want me to do ? ".
" You can start by adjusting that attitude and go clear out that old trunk over there " Nolan replied, pointing to the dusty trunk in the corner.
Lance scuffed, but he didn't feel like hearing any more of his grandfather's nagging. So with a hesitant hand. He made his way over to the trunk. The sight alone made him regret ever entering his grandfather's study.
Nevertheless, he did what his grandfather asks. The trunk was covered in dust. Lance quickly dusts it off with an old rag he found on the floor and proceeded to open it. When he did, He saw it was filled with all sorts of souvenirs and trinkets his grandfather collected over the years. It all seemed pointless to Lance and figured his grandfather should just get rid of it all, rather than keep any of it.
Sorting through his grandfather's treasure trove of endless nick-nacks. Something caught his eye. It was a small wooden box covered with strange markings and inscriptions. He picks it up to open it and inside he finds an old fang. Intrigued by it. He took it out of the box and began to examine it more closely, as he did. He unwillingly cut his right finger on the edge of the tooth.
" Geez, that's sharp " Lance muttered. Shaking his finger before placing it in his mouth, " Hey old man!. Where'd you get the Fang ", Lance uttered still sucking his finger?
" Hmm " Nolan replied almost clueless to his meaning, " Ah yes, now that's truly is a rare find. That really should not be in there, I thought I had placed it in the safe ".
" What for? It just some old tooth ", Lance uttered unable to see the importance of what he held in his hand
" What you have there boy, is more valuable than gold or Jewels or any riches you can think of ", Nolan replied, taking the Fang from Lance.
" Oh yeah? What's so special about it? ", Lance replied.
"This boy is a fang that belonged to your ancestor Orim Drakan, The first of our kind ", Nolan replied.
" Great so he's another one of my dead relatives. I'll have a drink in his honor sometime ". Lance replied as he drops himself into his Grandfather's couch and spread his arms across.
"SHOW SOME RESPECT BOY !!!. Won't you listening; I said he's was the first, The first Tigon. He is the reason you or any of us are even here ", Nolan scolded, "You're completely hopeless as usual, well, I guess you can't be blamed. I haven't gotten around to telling you his story, but now would be as good as a time as any ".
" Is this going to be a long old man? if so am going to need some snacks ", Lance quickly replied.
" Just shut up and pay attention maybe you will learn something ", Nolan scolded.
Lance wasn't in the mood for storytime. Patience wasn't his strong suit, but at the moment it would have to be. They had a lot of time to kill so hearing about another one of his dead relatives, would just make it a little bit easier.
" Now where shall I begin? ", Nolan replied, as he safely places the box with the Fang into his safe behind an old family painting.
" You Know!. I hear the beginning is always a good place to start " Lance replied sarcastically.
Instantly Nolan shot him a look. Lance knew right away what it meant and said not another word, allowing his Grandfather to begin his tale.
" My story begins in a land forgotten by time. The birthplace of myth and legend... Talmar. Talmar was divided between three great nation's. The Ancient Elves, and the two human Nations of Feiix and Canaar. These nations work hand in hand with one another making Talmar a very peaceful Land, but all of that changed overnight since The Elves just suddenly disappeared.
Every single one of them was gone, all their cities and lands were completely abandoned without any given reason. The Feiix and the Canaar Nation filled with ambition. They seized the opportunity to expand their own territories and began claiming those lands for themselves.
This brought about great conflict between them. Bringing a very Dark age upon Talmar".
