Nero and Urs skipped out of the damned steam room in the bath house. "Woo! That was hot and amazing! Right Urs."
"How can you guys sit in there so long." Frides called to Nero from the bar.
"It wasn't that hot." Nero joked.
"Yes it was. You were in there for an hour." Frides looked at Nero with concern.
"Whatever, you just left in a hurry once your hair started to puff up. Oh look its back to normal."
"I went to send a letter since we stopped here. I just feel bad for the Domaku. You do know she's covered in fur."
"I know. I kept checking to see if she was okay. She was being so tough but I could see she was getting dizzy. I could have gone for another hour."
"I'm sure you could have. Come on, our reservation was about to expire."
"Wait. I want to look at the bars drink menu. Some old rich lady said the bars have drinks they don't serve at the tables."
"They do, but hurry. The attendants were getting annoyed."
"It's more like you were getting annoyed. I'm sure they're used to waiting in a place like this."
"You're just the self important type that doesn't think twice about other people. Just get the Pineapple pepper one."
"Emph I hate overly spicy foods. That one sounds like its going to burn out my taste buds." Nero stuck out his tongue.
Frides shook his head. "You can spend an hour in a 500 degree sauna but don't like spicy foods."
"If you like the classics, their Old Fashioned is the best you'll find outside of the capital." Larel suggested sitting at the end of the bar with a towel wrapped around his waist.
"Bartender, I'll take one of those. Oh wow." When the bartender stepped back, Nero got a full frontal of a polka dot package with a number on it.
"Took you long enough."
"What? I don't see things I'm not looking for. That was unavoidable."
"Yeah its not just the girls." Larel, informed Nero. "It can be pretty jarring, but comes with the territory. You've never been to a place like this before have you?"
"A place like this?" Nero responded puzzled.
"No. Also, he hasn't realized, yet." Frides answered his question in Nero's place.
"Realized?" Nero looked around confused.
"Well enjoy, all, of the attention. You payed for it." Larel advised as he grabbed his drink and heads to the Spring.
"I may not know what you guys are talking about but I know about the Spring waters. They should take care of those bruises on your shoulders."
"They were worse before." Larel gently rubbed the purple marks. "I spent an hour in the springs but this was as far as they healed. There's a talented healer here that will be able to heal it the rest of the way. Thank you though. Enjoy your stay maybe we'll see each other by the Stone tonight."
"Oh yeah! I almost forgot."
"I'm sure once we stepped out you would've remembered all over again. Just grab your drink, lets go."
"Okay, later. See you later..." Nero fumbled to recall if he got a name.
"Larel."
"I'm Nero and this is Frides. And this is Urs." He pointed down at the Domaku wiped out on the cool floors in front of the bar.
"Nice to meet you guys."
With that they parted new friends. No complaints to speak of, so far.
