Sob. Sob. Sob.
Tentris grabbed a grey burlap sack that was sitting in the corner of the room with the rest of their luggage. "What games do you think Captain Enyo will want to play when he gets back?"
Marcel leaned up on the edge of the bed. "Checkers."
Sob. Sob. Sob.
"He is really enjoying beating us in checkers lately."
"He beats us in any game so why does it matter? Where's our room service? And can you shut the hell up and stop crying!"
Gersin was curled up across the room with his back against the wall and his head resting on his knees. "You killed my pregnant fiancé and my father in law." He looked up at Marcel and gritted his teeth.
"Don't bluff. If you were going to put up a fight you would have done it already. It seems like you're either a coward or you just didn't care enough about your fiancé and her father to die for them" Marcel casually ignored Gersin's complaints and rolled over. "Tentris, wake me up when the food arrives."
Gersin tipped hisself over slamming his head into the ground. "You killed my father in law."
"Yeah. So what?" Marcel didn't even lift his head off of the pillow. Gersin's hands were chained up behind him and his ankles were chained together when they entered the room to limit his movement. By digging his head into the floor, he was able to bring his legs under him and stand up.
"Um, Marcel." Tentris put the sack to the side.
"What?"
"Marcel get up. He's up. Get up!"
Marcel turned over opening one eyelid. "Who's up?" Gersin was leaning up against the wall. Over the past week, Marcel had taken it upon himself to kick Gersin around whenever he had the chance. The man's face was bruised and his shirt was stained with blood. Marcel sat up and leaned back on his hands and crossed his legs in front of him. "Oh, you're up! Now what?"
Marcel's dismissive tone only infuriated Gersin even more.
"Don't tease him. You're only making it worse. Stop him already." Tentris was inching further and further away from Gersin and Marcel.
"Errrr!" Gersin strained against the chains around his legs.
Marcel hopped up and rushed to the edge of the bed. "What are you doing! What are you going to do if you break out of those chains?!"
"Stop antagonizing him and stop him already." Tentris pleaded.
Marcel's eyes were lighting up and his smile was fiendish. "Oh, you dock workers are so strong, right!? I think he wants me to kill him."
"Errr!" Gersin continued to struggle to break through the chains ignoring Marcel's taunts.
"He'll kill you! Just stop already." Tentris pleads to Gersin.
"Errr! You killed my fiancé." Gersin mumbles through clenched teeth.
"Yes she's dead and she's never coming back. What are you going to do about it?!" Marcel screamed.
"And killed my unborn child! Ahhhh!" Click. Click. Clank, Gersin broke the chains around his ankles. "I'm going to kill you."
"No wait." Tentris put his hands up in front of him and tried one last time to calm Gersin down.
Marcel had a completely different plan. "Come on!"
As if Gersin needed an invitation. He barreled his way across the room straight towards Marcel who didn't even bother getting in any position to receive him.
Boom!
Wood chips went flying inward like there was an explosion outside of the suite. Grey chains flew into the room and smacked Gersin across the face so hard it sent him flying into the wall behind Tentris.
"Mph." Tentris looked behind him at the unconscious Gersin then looked at the door. The door handle of the battered door twisted and opened.
Captain Enyo walked into the room crunching wood chips with every step. "Madam Silvers is going to try to kill me. And probably you guys, too."
