I twisted and turned as the velvet night covered the city ; looking at the clock tick minute by minute as the sleepless night slowly turned into dawn.
I couldn't help but over think about the coming night. My eyes finally dosed off a little only to give me the flashbacks of the destructions I've caused last time.My eyes went wide open despite the lack of sleep and exhaustion I was feeling.
I looked at the clock, it was 4 o'clock in the morning. I couldn't take it any more. My whole body was as hot as fire.
I got out from the bed which was really hot by now. Mum and dad had worked on making me some fire resistance casual dresses from the fire-resistance fabric that they purchased when I was 4 . All of my bed sheets and other curtains were of the same fabric and so were most of my clothes. I was used to the smell of the burning clothes by now.
Leaving my night dress on the floor I headed for the bathroom. I need to cool my body and mind before I was completely on fire.
Standing below the shower I let the water run all over my body feeling my skin burn all over as the cold water kissed my skin.
Slowly the pain became unbearable and the tears started running down my cheeks. My head was running wild which wasn't helping at all. The bathroom filled with steam and at last I gave a painful cry and burnt all over. The flames roared all around my body and the water was making it hurt even more.
But I can't understand what hurt the most. Was it my body due to the contact with water, or was it my brain which was about to explode or was it my aching heart. I closed the tap and let my flames dance beautifully on my skin. Slowly some strange relief came all over me and the fire became more and more exhausted and finally died out.
I fell on my knees and after staying like that for about half an hour I went straight to to bed and sleep took over me.
