Damon tossed in his bed.
Before going to bed that night, he had brought out the necklace again. He stared at the crescent moon intently. He was trying to understand how the necklace had gotten there in the first place. He remembered vividly well that he had made sure she had it on her neck before they buried her.
Was it that someone else had this exact necklace? Could it just be a coincidence? Was someone trying to prank him? Even if it was a prank that it wouldn't have been with something as sensitive as this. No one would dare to touch him where it would hurt him this much.
What exactly was going on at the moment? Was somebody trying to tell him something? Was someone trying to send him a message? What did it mean?
As he laid back on his bed to sleep, he couldn't do so. He tossed and turned on all sides. He moved around until he finally found peace. He fell into a deep sleep.
