Damon gasped awake. His heart pounded heavily. His intake of breath was very heavy and fast. He felt immense pain like it had happened again. He felt as if he had relived the entire even all over again from the beginning. He felt as if it hadn't been there years ago that he lost his mate but yesterday.
Damon got off his bed. He was shirtless. He was only dressed in shorts. He moved to the table to get a glass of water. Just filling the gals up with water proved hard for him.
He felt like he had stood there for eternity. Eternity just trying to fill his glass cup with water. He felt devasted all over again. The world felt ugly and dark. His heart felt empty and void. He immediately felt incomplete.
