Alexia stared awake. She had fallen aside while sitting with her back rested on the pillows of Damon's bed. At first, she couldn't remember where she. The room seemed so strange. Then slowly, her memory came back to her and she remembered what happened last night.
She noticed that she wasn't sitting the way she had sat last night. She had sloped down a bit and Damon had moved higher up. He had moved from her legs to her stomach.
He was still fast asleep. She listened to his quiet intake of breath. It was peaceful. She smiled at him. She slowly took her hands to his hair and played with it.
Damon moaned. "Just keep doing that, don't stop," Damon whispered.
Alexia gasped. "So you are awake?" She asked.
"No, I'm not," Damon denied it.
"Then how are you answering me?" Alexia asked.
"Directly from the sleep world. No, the subconscious world," Damon answered and laughed.
