answer my questions." Jake said.
"Fine. Just hurry up. I'm pretty sure that I am losing the ability to feel anything in my toes." Sarah complained.
Jake chose to ignore Sarah's comment. "What were you doing before you passed out? I need detail."
"Well, I was climbing the rock wall when I was… stuck… Max helped me down and Alex was being a donkey and making fun of us so I went to teach him a lesson. I threw off my gloves and walked towards him, fists at the ready. I did a swift uppercut but right before my knuckles got to taste his gut, I passed out. The end." Sarah summed up.
"That wasn't very detailed." Jake replied flatly.
"Take it or leave it." Sarah retorted.
"Ok, fine. What were you feeling right before you passed out?" Jake asked.
"Oh come one! Is this like a therapy session or something? If you don't get me out of these chains and out of these rooms soon, the only thing that is going to need therapy is your ego when I burn your eyebrows off!" Sarah said angrily.
Once, again, Jake did not react to her retort. "Answer the question Sarah." Jake said.
"I was angry. Ok? Isn't that obvious because of the fat. Only seconds before I passed out, I was in a fit of rage and was about to sucker punch Alex?" A very exasperated Sarah said.
"Point taken, point take." Jake admitted. "How did you feel before you passed out? I mean, physically." Jake asked.
"Uhh… I don't know! I had a headache that was getting worse by the second? My heart was beating fast and my blood felt like it was going to my head." Sarah replied.
"And how do you feel now?" he asked.
"Terrible headache, my heart is pounding. My blood is going to my head. My bones feel like they broke and then were put back together and I'm hot." Sarah vented.
"Ok. Thanks for answering my questions. We're just gonna go and do a test on something real quick before I will release you back to your guide to finish out the rest of the day. Come along." Jake said as he walked over to the door.
The room seemed to get even hotter than it already was. Jake felt as if he had holes burning through his back. "Jake." Sarah said, seething. "The chains."
Jake's eyes widened. "Oh yea… I- I'll get right on that!" He said with a nervous laugh. He walked over to the side of the table and looked underneath the table. He pretended like he was doing something difficult to unlock them. Even moving some loose pieces of chain-mail to make it sound like he was actually doing something. Then, he just used his powers to freeze the chain mail, making it so he could just casually break the frozen metal in half. Terrance had the keys to the lock and he didn't think that Sarah would have let him walk out that door to go and get them so that was really his only choice.

Sarah and Jake walked, or weather, Jake walked and Sarah stumbled. She really had begun to lose feeling in her feet. They went over to a section of the room that Sarah had never been inside of before. There was a table filled with seemingly random stuff. Things like weapons, a weird instrument, bow and arrow, a wine glass, grass, and mice. There were also things like targets and weights sitting nearby. "What's all this for?" Sarah asked.
"This, is what we are going to use to find out who your father is." Jake explained.
As Jake was saying this, the other's walked into the room. Sarah turned around when she heard footsteps. Standing in the doorway was Terrance, the three demigod's-in-training and their guides. She smiled until she noticed Alex. She gave a 'humph!' and turned around with her arms crossed.
"Come to mock me again, Alex?" Sarah said with her back turned.
""Look Sarah, about that, I 'm really sorr-" Alex had begun to say until he was cut off.
"I don't wanna hear it right now." You can stay during my test if you must, but that doesn't mean you can talk to me." She replied coldly.
Just as Sarah had requested, he gave her no response.
She walked over to the table and pointed to the stuff laid about randomly. "What do I do first?' She asked.
"Well, I don't really know. We have never done this before. Were making history as we speak. I guess… just pick whatever feels right to you?" Jake suggested.
Sarah glanced around at the table. Although she had been ruff her whole life, a knife or sword just seemed like too much to her so she skipped over that without a second thought. The next thing that was on the table was the weird instrument. It looked complicated and Sarah just didn't have the patience to learn an instrument. Next to the instrument, although Sarah didn't know, she would soon come to find out that it was called a Lyre, the trademark instrument of the Greek God Apollo, there was a wooden bow and arrow.
This was the first thing on the table that Sarah had seen that she had felt curious towards. She ran her finger down the lightly colored wood. It was soft to the touch, smooth and beautiful carved. She liked it but decided to look at the rest before making a decision.
The next thing was a wine glass. She picked it up by the stem and turned it upside down. She glanced at the bottom and put it back onto the table, rim facing down and the bottom of the glass pointing up. "Why did you do that?" Jake asked.
Sarah just shrugged and said, "Felt like it."
She moved one the final thing on the table, the mice. She peered into the cage and saw little mice inside, squeaking and scurrying around in the shredded paper. She shuddered. No thanks. She quickly stood up straight and walked back to the bow and arrow. She picked it up and presented it to Jake. "This one." She said.
"You sure that this is your pick?" He asked.
"Yep." She replied. I'm ready. What do I do next?"
