The carriage was as beautiful as Olympus, maybe even more so. It was a white, pumpkin-shaped carriage with lace work all over it. Blue pieces of thick thread-like material, seeming to pulse with life. Maybe it did, the string looked like the string of fate although most people didn't know what the string of fate looked like so they assumed that It was just their imagination.
The carriage finally came to a halt. A tall, skinny man ran around to the side, opening the doors and offering his hand out to help the passengers out of the carriage.
Fist, out came a young girl with her bright blonde hair in braids and a shiny green dress.
Next, a woman who looked to be about 20 in human years came out, she was wearing a sunshine yellow dress with thin bow straps that held the dress up.
Finally, an elderly woman gracefully walked out, dressed in head to toe in black except for her fiery red hair that stopped at her soldiers.
The 3 women stood next to each other, the butler bowed and quickly took the carriage away, a big gust of wish swished their hair to the right and Zeus suddenly got a sense that somebody was watching him. He looked closer at the 3 and noticed that they were all staring right at him, almost appearing to be looking at his soul, maybe they were actually looking at his fate, changing it, deciding it as they stood there, with their eyes boring into him.
Zeus shuddered.
He never liked them to begin with.
He quickly stepped back from the window without even realizing he was doing so. He mentally scolded himself, "I am the god of all gods! The most powerful being! I shouldn't be afraid of a few girls!" he said to himself and stepped towards the window to peer down at them again.
They were already gone.

"Your Majesty" said a voice coming from the slightly opened door "The fates are here"
Zeus turned around to see a young man wearing a butler uniform in a low, respectful bow. "Thank you, please tell them that I will be arriving shortly, please ask some maids to bring them some tea while they wait."
"Yes your majesty" Said the butler and with another deep bow and left.
Zeus sighed and looked out of the window again, remembering how terrifying the glances of the fates looked.
With another shudder Zeus left the tower to go greet the fates.
The fates were led into a room on the left wing of Zeus's home, centered in the heart of Olympus. The walls were shiny polished marble with thick gold trim along the wall, the room itself was circular with only 2 ways in or out. One was for guest entries or servants entries and the other was used only for Zeus.
The ceilings were very very high and had a dome room making Clotho feel like she was trapped inside of a giant Christmas ornament.
She had never liked this room.
They were sat on the dedicated chairs of fate, most guests were on the lower platform, so that way they sat lower than Zeus and always would feel a sense of intimidation as the god of the sky sat above them, the crackle of the thunderbolts that he always carried echoing around the room. The fates on the other hand we seated level with Zeus in a shot of mutual respect. As a matter of fact, if you think about it, Zeus should answer to the fates, they were much older then him and much more powerful than him but the fates recognized his power as the king of all gods and respected that gracefully and Zeus was fully aware that they could change his position as king of all gods, or as an immortal being for that matter with the snap of their fingers. Or a snap of a string for that matter.
Zeus gulped and strode into the room, he wore a white t-shirt that seemed to have small clouds all over it and dark blue pants with a long, flowing sea-blue cape that drug on the floor as he walked.
He sat down on his throne which was of the same design as the round room wall's.
He turned to face the 3 sisters and saw them all with their right legs crossed over their left, leaning on their chair's with their left arms. In each of their left hands held a white sauces with flowers with gold stems and pink petals with a matching cup held in their right, their pinkies extended to a 90 degree arc. Watching Zeus they took a sip of their tea in usine, never breaking their stare.
Again, Zeus shuddered. It was all very ominous, their uncanny ability to sync their movements with each other.
Zeus wondered if they could silently communicate with each other or if they had to practice to get that to happen so smoothly, seemingly without any effort.
"Hello Zeus" the sisters said in usion
He cleared his throat
"Hello fates, thank you for coming upon my request today" Zeus replied
The fates just looked at him and said nothing
He tugged on his collar and had begun breaking out in a cold sweat. Clearing his throat again and flicking his eyes between the ominous sisters he said "I have a few favors to ask you of..."
"Of course, how may we assist you?" replied the eldest sister, the one Zeus disliked the most, Atropos- the death fate.
Sitting up straighter Zeus said "I was wondering if you could change the fate of a few demigods for me..." Zeus knew that they did not like his request, technically, no gods were allowed to demand the change fates but they were allowed to request it, doing to cost a lot of money or sometimes they would tell you that you owed each sister a favor that you could not say no to and I you fell beck on your promise each sister would twist you fate accordingly. Clotho could make you become an ugly baby with wrinkles that you will have for life and a great long nose and ears that are two different sizes.
Lachesis could make you have bad luck or become a criminal, she could end your career, your reputation, your job, your respect. Atropos could make you deathly sick, give you a sickness with no cure, have you die a terrible, painful death. She could have you die all alone or in a car crash.
The rules were simple. If you wanted the fate of another to be changed you had to pay the price. You could pay the price that each sister requests but sometimes you do not have that option. Depending on who he requests for the fates to change the price will vary, if he wanted the fate of a human to be caged he would have to pay 10 mina (1,000 Golden Drachma) for a demigod it costs 400 mina (40,000 Golden Drachma) a minor god/goddess is 1,000 mina (100,000 Golden Drachma) and for a major God/Goddess you would have to pay 5,000 mina (500,000 Golden Drachma). In the human world, working one day you would receive around half of a Golden drachma to 6. It took 6 obols that make up one Golden Drachma, 100 Golden Drachma' to make up 1 mina and 600 mina to make up 1 talent, 1 talent can be exchanged for 57 pounds of silver.
In other words, changing fate was expensive, VERY".
