Lexor comes back in, "I also have information about the gold mine that you mentioned, it seems that there are two more kingdoms trying to make a move on it." He says. I frown, I'm not surprised, with it being located near a place cut off from all the kingdoms , there should be at least a few that would go after it. "Tell me how is Rock's and Brim's progress?" I ask. Lexor pulls out a small rolled paper and unravels it, "Brim notes that the kingdoms are fighting at this moment, and that no one was able to enter the premises as of yet." He rolls the paper up. I nod, it was best to let them fight, sending those two was my best thought yet, after all they are just scoping the place.
We need to know what traps and magic spells we'll be dealing with once we really take this gold mine. "Tell them to keep up the good work, I will like information about this mine in at least two days. Because by then we'll set out to claim it." I say. Lexor bows, "yes my Queen." He says leaving me alone in my office. While that is being taken care of I need to find out where the nearest Slave market would be taking place, that way if I can keep track of it I'll be able to buy some servants for the palace. In order to keep the palace in shape it is crucial to have someone to take care of the upkeep around here.
Not only that, having strong guards will also help, even though my warriors are pretty strong I rather let them each have men to instruct. Because no matter how strong my warriors were, there will be someone stronger than them. As I create a list of things that needed to be done first, I manage to finally come to a stopping point, though I'm not even close to being done. I stand and stretch for a bit as there was another tap at my door, "enter." I say as Mangola and Gert enter my office, "Your highness, we've finished the task that you asked of us." Oh right, I sent these two to the border to redo the magic protection on it, "and?" I ask.
"It was terrible, those stupid Su army destroyed the magic barrier worse than we expected, there were beasts and many causualties." Mangola says with a shake of her head. I sigh, "I figured as much. Now that's done you should start on rebuilding this city using your magic. We won't be able to make everything look amazing, but at least we can get it to look decent." I say. "Yes My Queen." Gert says bowing before leaving. I turn to Mangola, "With everything that is going on, I think it's best that you take a trip to the other cities, you may not be back for a week or even more. If you want you can take Lexor with you." I point out.
"If I do that who will be here guarding your highness?" She asks. I cross my arms, "I don't need protection, I'm way more powerful than all six of you put together." I say. "That may be so but you are still the Queen. I'll go alone, I'll return in four days, after all I'm known for my speediness." She says. I sigh, "alright fine, but remember you're just taking notes on what needs to be done, try not to cause trouble." I say giving her a glare. Mangola is bound to become angry easily, it's apart of her childish demeanor, sending her was probably not a good idea, but she's the only one that wasn't already doing something. There was Femur, but I needed him to do something else, only Mangola could do what I asked in so little time. She was out the door to do what I asked, speedy as always.
I leave my office and walked the hall to the library, I should brush up on some of my history, training my mind and body is crucial, I need to become a stronger Queen. I may be very powerful, but if Prince Su could defeat me than I'm not strong enoguh, I'll never let that guy beat me in the future, not even if he became a sparring partner. Not that we'll ever become so close, also there is another person who was as strong as Prince Su. Castian, that's right....if I think about it what happened to him during the battle of my past lives? Everyone else was killed by Prince Su. I felt their deaths myself, but Castian, I didn't feel him die.
I shake my head, well it won't happen again, now that I wanted to change and rebuild everything I will become a better Queen. It's a wonder that they followed me even now, back then why haven't they left me? I was the reason everything was so horrible, but they stuck by my side even until the end. I sat down after pulling several books from the shelf, there I stayed to read up on everything that I felt should be learned.
