As soon as the girl took a new form, becoming much older than before she lands back on her feet and bows her head. "I do apologize for hiding my true form, but it seems I can only talk in this form." She says. "No it's fine, you have your reasons." Kila says. "I'm glad, I'm Princess Ara and I'm from the Heavenly Sect realm. That guy over there is a Heavenly Sect King Jero, also my brother, unfortunately someone tried to assassinate him so he had to run here to Earth Realm. He's been stuck here with only a quarter of his power left, and I was a child who was born and sent to live in a village as a baby. It's really a long story. If miss could please help him, he's already injured." She falls to her knees and lowers her head.
Kila immediately grabs her arm, "I understand, there is no need for a Heavenly Princess to bow down to a human. I'll help him, but you have to tell me how to destroy that thing." she points out. This was probably a very bad idea, but that guy saved her life and she has this feeling that it was more than once, "please call me Ara, and the shadow demon is not easily defeated, but its possible no matter how little your mana is. All you have to do is fight along side him, only he has that ability to kill it." Ara explains. Kila sighs, great looks like she is tossed yet into another bad setting, well what the hell. Kila pulls her hair into a pony and runs over towards the two fighting, if she look at it this way it will give her a learning experience. Now a plan to interact with this demon, its hard to get close at this moment though, especially with two different types of powerful mana floating around. Her body would take the backlash way to badly, what to do to get close? Kila suddenly got a bright idea, why not use that? It'll drain her mana but would it work? If he understands what she was going for...forget it, she didnt have time to just think about it.
The closer she got the more she built her mana, she open her eyes and felt the energy engulf her. She only had one chance to get the right, shadows dont like bright light right well then she wraps her bright energy about the demon. While the princess was completely surprised, "that light, it can't be." She whispers loud enough for Doctor An to hear. But even he was witnessing something new, it was the first time he seen her use magic. King Jiro immediately caught on and with his lightning sword plunges it into the demons heart, its loud screeching blasting through the air. The strength of that screech sent Kila flying towards a nearby tree. Doctor An sprints in that direction, but before he could reach her King Jiro was already there catching her easily as if he teleported.
The shadow demons burst into tiny particles before fading and the forest that felt dark and gloomy suddenly started shining more brightly. "Look over there." Ara points towards east and they all noticed souls of the villagers drifting to the sky happily. The elderly woman was left behind before bowing her head and floating up as well, "I'm glad that's over with." Doctor An says with a huge grin. "I agree, it was very time consuming and now we have another few days before we can get to our destination." Kila says as King Jiro puts her down, this time more nicely. Doctor An walks up beside her, "there's no worries right? As long as we get there."
Kila touches her chin with her forefinger, it seems that she was thinking, "what is it?" Ara asks. "Hm? Oh nothing I was just thinking." she mutters. "Can I just put it out there that I was right? It would have made more sense to take the other path." He says. Kila turn towards him, "it is dangerous taking the path we took, but we got here pretty quickly, though I guess we lost out on a few days." She says. Perhaps the trip to Ronin will take longer than expected if things like this keep happening on their journey.
Dr. An nods in agreement, "the bright side is that we know our way out, and would probably have been halfway there if not for certain distractions." He says the last bit under his breath.
*Invisible arrow pointing to the two distractions*
"Don't be like that." Kila says before turning to Ara once more who then bows once more, "thank you for helping us, I wish we could come along but it seems we have somethings to take care of." She says. Kila shakes her head, "no need to thank us, as I said I wouldn't be here if not for you guys. I hope we see each other again." Kila says before Ara and King Jiro disappears beyond the trees. "Do you really believe all that jibberish about the Heavenly Sect and whatnot?" Doctor An asks as the two head towards the exit again. "Don't know, I don't think their lying." She says with a shrug. The two are seen leaving the forest and coming to a narrow dirt path, "man finally we see sky, I was beginning to think we were in over our heads."
Kila chuckles, "perhaps we were, alot did happen. Come on, our next destination is Cove Valley." She says pulling out the map to take a look. Doctor An leans back in a way he was kind of dreading this trip, where ever they go there always seem to be some kind of trouble. "Can we get some food before that?" He asks. Kila nods, "if they have food there of course." The rest of the journey may have to be on foot. All this for a cure, well she had nothing better to do.
