So far the two have been walking for a while down that dirt path, many times they stopped to take a break. "How far is this Cove Valley, my legs are starting to give out?" Doctor An complains as he bends over, his face flushed from the walk. Kila stops to give him time to catch his breath, "I doubt it's that far from here judging by this map it should be a mile more to go." She says. Kila refolds the map and turn towards him, "I've been wanting to say this but we are being followed." She says softly. Doctor An straightens and keeps his eyes straight on her, "how long?" He ask. "Not sure, I don't think they are non-friendly, or else they would have already revealed themself." She says.
"Perhaps they are waiting for us to let down our guard." He mutters. Kila shrugs, "perhaps, doesn't matter let's continue forward. If who or whatever it is reveals it self to us then we'll go from there." She says turning back towards the direction they were heading. Meanwhile a few kilometers away something lurks nearby following the two since they left the forest. Finally after an hour of walking they began to see a village ahead, "great my neck is killing me." Doctor An rubs the back of his neck, "wasn't it your knee earlier?" Kila ask. "Honestly it's everything,." He admits as they pass an undering into the village.
"It's pretty impressive, seems to be a market area nearby as well, It looks like it's not a small village." Kila says. This also gave their follower enough hiding places for them to be able to follow them. "Let's find somewhere to reside, but only for a day or two I would like to check out the markets here before we head to our next destination." She says as they walk around to find an inn. They finally came to a run down placee that said Cove Inn on a sign, they enter to find that it was pretty much empty besides and elderly man smoking from a stick pipe standing bahind a desk.
He stares at the before speaking, "a room for a couple?" He ask. "Ah no, nothing like that, we'll need two rooms." She says pulling out a pouch with coins. He nods and turns towards a box with keys lined inside, then he turns around and hands them one that said two and one that said three on it. "Here ya go, don't get many guest these days. You must not be from around here." He states leaning forward. "That's right we're from out of town." Doctor An agrees as Kila signs their names in and hands over four coins which totaled three hundred rocks (another way of saying three hundred dollars, I guess). "That explains you're strange clothing, well welcome to Cove Valley. Hope your stay here is welcoming." He says as they walk away.
They turned down a hall with many other doors, which she would assume is the other bedrooms. Finding room two and three was not hard considering they were the doors for when they just turned the corner. "Don't you think it's odd that this Inn is empty? There are so many residents living here and there only seems to be one room that's occupied." Doctor An says as he opens his door. Kila open hers as well and turn to him, "I guess, let's just put our things inside and head out to the markets." She says. Once they both enter their rooms, the first thing she does is remove her viel to look in the mirror. It seems just as she thought, there was a bit of burn now just covering her right cheek. Not as bad as before, the burn that covered half her face and even snaked it's way down her collarbone and beneath her clothing has cleared a bunch.
Kila step out of her clothes, it was too much like right it seems. Her whole body was still covered in third degree burns, she sighs and redresses, of course the medicine from before was not as effective as she had wanted it to be. Once her clothes and Viel was back on, Kila steps out her room, closses it and locks it rounding back to the front of the Inn. Doctor An already stood waiting for her by the entrance, "I see you've changed, those clothes from earlier were pretty dirty.' He points out as the both of them headed towards the market area. "Ah about the mysterious stalker, it seems that they may have gotten a room as well, the four key was gone. I was thinking that it couldn't possibly be anyone else, I knocked on the door but no one answered." He explains.
"It's just as well, most likely they left the room to keep a low profile." Kila points out. "yeah, that's definitely possible." He agreed with a nod. They stop at one of the market stalls which had a range of magical tools. "Look at that bad boy, it looks dangerous." Doctor An points among the items at a black Iron Sword, it definitely looked a bit odd and cool. She reaches towards it and felt her mana going insane, this sword was pretty powerful. The man heading the market stall notices instantly, "oh you found something real precious here. It's a Pure Black Hilton Sword. It carries some really powerful mana in it, I heard that this sword was made by the Black Fairy King himself." He says as he lifts the sword from the table and reveals it fully.
The sword begins to pulse wildly, the man snatches his hand away but the sword doesn't fall to the ground it floats and shines before them, "I see it never reacted like this before, this sword must be made for you young lady." He sasys, "How about I cut the price down and gove it to you for just five hundred rocks?" He asks as Kila grabs the sword by the hilt once it finally dies down. She tosses him that amount, "deal." She agrees. This sword was a mystery but it seems that it was indeed something special.
