Synopsis
Alexander King has never lost at anything in his life. Never heard the word no and pretty much never failed until he meets the woman of his dreams. She seems perfect, wins him over, and makes him believe in love but only to turn his life upside down. He swore off love after Maya crushed his heart into a thousand irreparable pieces. He never hated a girl the way he hates Maya Davis. He wanted her to feel the pain of what she did to him. He wanted her to feel sorry for choosing another man over him. Alex wanted revenge. Just when his life starts looking up, Alex is plunged into a living nightmare beyond anything a person can imagine. Far from any chance of refuge or avenue of escape, all Alex can do is pray for a miracle before time runs out on his life and death horror story.

Chapter 1 - Prologue

Alexander King was a happy-go-lucky boy who enjoyed life to the fullest until he fell in love with Maya Davis. But Maya was the exact opposite of the woman of his dreams. She was a paradox, a puzzle, and unfathomable.

She was the reincarnation of the infamous Judas as a woman. But boy oh boy, he fell in love with her - fast and hard. She took him on an adrenaline-full romantic ride that's bursting with high octane energy, only to drop him like a hot potato. Now, he was out to seek revenge and was hell-bent to make her life a living mess.

And he succeeded, but his plan went sideways fast. His ex-girlfriend was ready to help him exact revenge from herself but on one condition. Can Alex do it? What's the condition? Why would Maya help him take revenge on herself? Is he ready to discover the skeleton's in the closet?

It is said that revenge can destroy not only the one being targeted but also the one who goes through with it. It is a double-edged sword. The supposed bliss and satisfaction that executing the revenge brings out is short-lived, and the chances of it misfiring are great. But the heart wants what it wants, and it's hard to let go, isn't it?
