Chapter 15 - Cassabianca

Christmas dinner approached rapidly.

I'd been practicing hard.

The day came.

I left home not really caring.

I met the other two on the way and we got through the gates together.

We sat and chatted about random things.

This horrid girl sat with us.

She annoyed me by calling me names.

She flirted with both of the other two.

This made me cringe quite hard, to be honest.

The usual orchestral music went off and we all went to our first lesson.

Reba, I think her name was, clung on to Baxton's arm to class and death glared as if to say "stay away" to me when they had to separate to get to their classes.

I mentally laughed at her.

Who does she think she is?

Was it illegal for me to have friends now?

Geez.

Her gang were out to get me.

Periods one and two went by like a flash and we went to grab seats before everyone else nabbed them.

The atrium and theater were off limits as well as Rosie's café.

After break, I told the other two to tell the art teacher where I went and headed off to the music room.

The music teacher sent me to the recording studio.

I sat silently in the warm studio, rather bored.

One of the musical tech staff members brought be downstairs and they set my keyboard up.

My belongings were put in first aid, which was right behind me, but I kept my phone and tablet.

I pulled up the instrumentals that I'd mixed a few months ago and plugged my phone into the piano.

I then set my tablet up so that it'd sync over.

There wasn't much to do, I watched the reindeer being brought in, teachers goofing off and just generally having fun because I was the only student behind the stage.

I began playing just just before period three ended and the kids headed off.

I watched as everybody poured by, off to their am classrooms.

I saw Baxton and Alex coming from art and they stopped to say hello, adorable as always, and they rushed off when the teacher told them to get to class.

They said they'd meet me at Christmas lunch.

After the initial rush, I waited for the first round of students.

This would be the Year 7s and 10s.

It didn't go too badly, I played some classics, some personal favourites and others.

Afterward, I got to sit with my friends in my AM group, Baxton and Alex duh, and of course, out legendary AM.

Legendary you may ask?

He's just really funny and actually makes lessons entertaining and educational at the same time.

But yeah, there we were, chatting and eating.

Afterward, they all got sent off to their AM.

They said bye to me and I got back toy keyboard and began playing for the last group.

Year 8, 9 and 11.

This time I just sat in my own at the keyboard.

I talked with the rest of the staff members who were supervising the stairs and photos.

I just kinda chilled with them.

Nothing too interesting happened.

They made it snow and the choir performed their songs.

They sounded pretty good.

I wasn't in the choir, I didn't really feel it.

Rounders had been shut down after winning one tournament, but something had happened, so we couldn't continue.

It was fun whilst it lasted though.

Anyway, afterward, I helped with the cleaning and was allowed to play with the reindeer.

Then, I was sent my typical period 5 lesson, PSHE.

I got there rather late, but it didn't matter.

So that's one performance out of the way.

Now, all that's left is the Christmas Talent Show.
