The rest of the spring term passed quite quickly and our second round of mocks in May loomed in the near future.
I hadn't done too badly in terms of score or grade in my last exam in November/December.
We didn't do much in terms of revision.
We knew the material, and they did revision lessons anyway.
What we did do was watch some of the videos that school suggested to us.
They were okay, kinda helpful- but I didn't see myself using them anytime soon.
The May mocks came and went, yielding slightly better results than last time.
May was also when I got scoured out by the teachers to perform in the Academy Awards at the end of the year.
That would be an interesting experience.
This was not a competition, but it brought opportunities from companies and careers staff from different companies who would attend the awards.
I'd began some adaptations of music and ultimately, I also got a list from school to pick from.
I had a total of 20 minutes of stage time to work with.
There were singing, dancing and the bands too.
June brought warm heats and we had to run every air conditioning at full blast.
At home, I didn't do too much either.
I typically hung out with the other two and worked on the music and artwork of the site.
Mocks would be taking place during the first week of June, where years 7-9 would be taking English, Science, Maths, History, Geography and French/Spanish tests.
After that, we'd be free from exams until next year.
A basic schedule had been worked out, videos found, and we were generally organised.
Overall, it was a decent year.
So much better than anything that I could've asked for, and I was looking forward to the start of the next school year.
