Chapter 25 - Cassabianca

It was the last day of school.

I'd been here for one academic year.

It feels so strange, considering that this year was like no other.

I had Baxton and Alex with me too.

My best friends.

I also had my teachers and classmates.

It almost made me forget about Reba.

Of course she'd bug me forever.

I despise her.

She was a spiteful girl who targeted people for their differences.

I could never see why she did this.

I could only assume she was a bit funny in the head.

I walked I for the last time this academic year.

I stood to the right of Baxton and Alex to his left.

We were a three.

Tightly knitted together.

We took our usual space, discussing our summer plans.

I'd been put through to the dance camp in France, presumably to get me out of my parents' way.

The others would be going abroad too.

Baxton was going to Italy in August.

Alex was going to Spain for the summer, one week after school ended.

PSHE was our first lesson of the day.

We headed upstairs to first floor.

Seats.

Rule off if you needed to.

Date and title underlined.

Starter to get your mind to working.

Register.

Established Starting Point.

That was the routine.

We were learning about community cohesion.

Community cohesion describes the ability of all communities to function and grow in harmony together rather than in conflict. It aims to build communities where people feel confident that they belong and are comfortable mixing and interacting with others, particularly with people from different ethnic backgrounds or people of a different faith.

It was an interesting topic, useful- considering that many would be travelling abroad.

Period 2, Science

We were learning about diets- a boring lesson, I didn't write too much, since there was nothing much to write.

My teacher spoke so much.

My work was bear ones, I skipped lines to make it look like I did more than I actually did.

Sources of Protein:

meat, fish, poultry, eggs, milk, cheese

If you eat more calories than you burn, you'll have a higher BMI.

If you eat less than you burn, you'll have a lower BMI.

Not enough calcium harms the bones.

Not enough Fibre harms the intestines.

Too much fat harms the heart.

Orange is a good source of vitamins and water- but is a bad source of protein and carbohydrate.

Crisps are crisper than boiled potatoes because they contain less water. Most of the fibre n a backed potato is in the skin.

Break, 20 minutes.

I say with Baxton and Alex.

We were making a few meeting plans.

I would be free, since my mother had left for her business trip and father could not care less what I did.

We'd probably just mess around at the skate park or something.

Period 3 was drama.

I would be creating an original character.

Other

' We carry within us, the wonders we seek around us'

I tend to take on too much on my own and I keep things to myself.

I see the world as opportunities.

I worry about what will happen when I'm not here anymore and the fact that one day, nobody will remember me.

I care about life

I leave a trail of opportunities.

It was pretty fun, coming up with a character.

A life that I would never live.

It was interesting.

The teacher complimented me on my detail.

She reckons that I could become a character designer.

Period 4- English

I completely threw this lesson.

It was an extended writing question and it was not too shabby.

This needed quite a lot of creativity, saidy teacher.

I had a pretty basic answer to the question:

I agree with the statement because immediately after drinking the potion, he falls in love- meaning just drinking a basic love potion can addle somebody's mind within minutes. 'Love is a fickle.' I strongly agree with this statement. This suggests that the way Shakespeare shows

the speed of which the potion acts, that love is one of the simplest emotions in this world. The word fickle makes the reader believe that love is constantly evolving and that it will continue to evolve endlessly in the future. The atmosphere of change in the air makes the reader envision that there will be an unexpected plot twist at the end of the book. Therefore I strongly agree with the statement that says 'love is a fickle.'

I thought it was great mini essay.

Baxton and Alex wrote more than me, but I managed to get by with my teacher.

As long as it was enough, it would be fine.

After that, we had lunch.

We chose to go into the games room.

We played random games.

I dominated them in blackjack.

It was a game of chance and estimation, if you knew how that that worked.

I had played the risk game every day, every argument, every word I said would either bring nothing or certain doom- in the form of a chastising or a detention.

Baxton was pretty decent at chess.

I knew how to play, but it was more of a strategy game than a game of chance and estimation.

However, I was not half bad at it.

Poor Alex was getting grinded into the ground by Baxton and I.

He preferred mind puzzles, he could certainly see outside thee box and find several strategies to finish a puzzle.

We had Oracy for period 5.

It was about phones.

I'd written on my whiteboard-

Cells phones are a major part of students in the present age. Students want to take their cell phones in schools. However, in most of the schools, cell phones are banned. Students that bring their cell phones to such schools face punishments.

This was prevalent in this school.

We mostly debated amongst ourselves about this topic.

It was quite fun actually.

We all unanimously agreed that they should have phones for several reasons.

We debated against an opposing team and we found something else we were good at.

Thinking quickly.

I manipulated words and could flip their argument on its head.

I bearly did any work, just manipulated their words to make it fit my argument.

This is what landed me Star Of The Week.

Period 6 was mathematics.

It was a topical test on everything that we'd learned this in these six weeks.

It was not too difficult.

Weirdly, this day sticks with me, it reminds me not everything lasts.

After school, we walked home together.

We messed around and split off at the lane.

We agreed to meet tomorrow.
