"State your name and age for the recording." the voice drawled once again. The girl was sitting on the chair looking at the floor nervously her blonde hair tucked behind her ears.
"Elizabeth Brookes, and I'm sixteen." Elizabeth whispered softly her eyes looking around for anyone.
"What was your relationship with the victim?" the voice asked her. Elizabeth looked up and her eyes widened slightly she gulped and took in a deep breath.
"Well were friends." she explained to the voice finally folding her arms. She sat up straight and looked ahead in confidence.
"What happened?" the voice asked again.
"Well it all started after a argument...." Elizabeth trailed of...

"And what would you like for lunch, Madame and Sir?" the waiter asked as he stood in front of a table. A man and a woman sat oppersit to each other.
"Um, can I have some pasta please?" the woman asked with a small smile. The waiter smiled and nodded he then turned to the man.
"I'll have some chips, please." the man told the waiter. He nodded and walked to the kitchen when he came out he saw two girls at the door of his restaurant.
"Ah! Welcome! What table would you like?" the waiter asked with a smile. Madeline had her arms folded.
"A table for two please." she told the waiter he nodded at her and then he smirked and wiggled his eyebrows.
"A couple?" he asked. Madeline out on a disgusted face and Elizabeth frowned and looked to the waiter.
"No, we're not a couple." she told him she held the disappointment out.of her voice. Madeline then looked back up at the waiter.
"Show us to our table then!" she snapped and the two girls were lead to their table. They sat oppersit one another.
"So I've got a new boyfriend, his name's Bill and he's like so much better than Freddie!" Madeline told Elizabeth once they had sat down. She listened to her frowning slightly.
"How long have you known him?" she asked looking up with a small frown.
"We met the other day. He wad so sweet and comforted me about Freddie!" Madeline smiled and that was when the waiter came over to the table.
"And what would you like for lunch?" be asked as he held a notepad in front of him. He stood looking inbetween Madeline and Elizabeth.
"Can I have a chocolate milkshake please and she wants a strawberry. And also a bucket of chips." Madeline ordered and the waiter nodded he then took their menus and Madeline looked back at Elizabeth.
"Was Freddie in your English class?" she asked her, her voice soft. Elizabeth looked up at her.
"Yeah." she told her nodding her head slowly.
The waiter then came back and set the food on the table.
"Chocolate milkshake and strawberry. And a bucket of chips." He told the girls. Elizabeth smiled and took a sip from her drink.
"Thank you." she smiled at him.
"Yeah, thanks. Now go away! Bye!" Madeline added in bitchily. Elizabeth sighed and shook her head slightly at her best friends rudeness. The waiter walked away again and there was a silence before Madeline spoke up again.
"Did he talk about me?" Madeline asked softly. But Elizabeth shook her head. Madeline frowned and looked down to the ground again.
"Did he even look sad?" she asked Elizabeth. Elizabeth shook her head at Madeline.
"No he seemed pretty chill, actually. He looked like he didn't care about the argument you guys had, had." Elizabeth told Madeline. Madeline paused and she then looked up at Elizabeth.
"How'd you know something like that? We're you looking at him?" she asked her eyes narrowing. Elizabeth's eyes widened.
"He sits in front of me!" she told her in shock raising her hands in defence. But Madeline growled.
"So he turned around to talk to you? That's what you always wanted isn't it?" Madeline asked anger building up inside her voice making Elizabeth's brow furrow in confusion.
"What?" she asked in confusion.
"You wanted the popularity, power and the boyfriend! You decided you'll get those things by using me! Well you're not getting it!" Madeline snapped and she stood up.
"What!? No!" Elizabeth gasped shocked Madeline would think that.
"Why don't you go back to your poor house and poor father. Maybe that'll teach you to use people!" Madeline grimaced. Elizabeth took a deep intake of breath before she looked up again.
"Maddie, please..." she tried to talk sense into the stressed girl. But Madeline banged her hand against the table.
"Don't you dare think, Freddie will be yours. He'll be mine by the end of the month. So you can back of." Madeline growled. Elizabeth looked at Madeline offended she could think that lowly of her.
"I don't like Freddie!" Elizabeth managed to say after sitting in shocked silence. Madeline huffed just as the waiter came back over to them frowning in consern.
"I'm going. She can pay with her poor money. And don't even think you're getting a ride home. It seems you'll have to walk home. Goodbye Lizzie." Madeline spat before she stormed out of the restaurant. Elizabeth stood up and went to search threw her pockets for the money but the waiter took pity upon her.
"No need to pay. Take it all, and for free." he told her. Elizabeth smiled at him softly.
"Thank you very much, sir." she told him before she grabbed her milkshake. She took a quick sip out of it and ate a few chips before she picked up the bucket and walked out of the restaurant. She walked down the street until she got to the park. Elizabeth began walking slowly then and she looked around at the beautiful scenery around.
"If only Maddie were here." she sighed softly and she quickly blinked away her tears and continued walking.
"Peggy's probably going to be all over her now. I hope Maddie and Peggy fall out. That way me and Maddie can be friends again... yeah. I like that." Elizabeth smiled but she frowned and looked to the ground.
"That is a bit cruel though...." she trailed of just as Freddie came over.
"Hey, Lizzie! Oh what you got there!?" Freddie asked as he saw the chips and her milkshake. He didn't wait for an answer before he matched the food and drink from her. He began eating the chips greedily and he then began drinking the milkshake. Elizabeth watched him unimpressed for a few minutes.
"That's a milkshake." she told him with a roll of the eyes. Making Freddie stop mid sip. He then drew away from the milkshake slowly and then shouted out.
"Didn't you know I was glucose intolerant!" Freddie shouted and he then turned around and threw up. It barely missed her as she stumbled back holding her hands in the air. A look of disgust written across her features.
That was when they heard a laugh. Elizabeth and Freddie both turned around and saw Madeline filming them.
"Awe how cute and disgusting is that! Freddie threw up all of her Lizzie's shoes!" Madeline laughed and Elizabeth's eyes widened.
"It's sad you've got him as a boyfriend though, Lizzie. The stripper. I expected for of you. Now time to post..." Madeline grinned and she was about to get I her car. Elizabeth turned her head around and then saw Freddie glaring at the car heavily.
"No....Don't!" Elizabeth shouted but it was to late.
Freddie kicked the car in and he continued doing so until Madeline's brother got out of the car. He ran at Freddie and the two best friends began fighting. They fought for a little while with Elizabeth looking on in horror covering her mouth. Just as a policewoman came over to the fight.
"Stop in the name of the law!" she shouted but Freddie and Reginald stopped fighting and looked up at her. Freddie raced forward.
"I'll stab you!" he yelled in fury holding a knife up.
"I'll stab you, real good!" Reginald also shouted with a knife above his head. The policewoman's eyes widened and she backed away. She then ran to get back up.
Madeline's voice then called out and Elizabeth looked up and into her direction.
"Come on, Lizzie. Do you really want to be with that?" Madeline asked her. Elizabeth shook her head as she slowly started to approach Madeline.
"Come on Lizzie." Madeline said again, Elizabeth continued stepping towards her slowly. But Freddie then spoke up.
"Come on Liz, come with us!" Freddie told her. Elizabeth stared at Freddie for a few seconds.
"Do you really want me to ruin you? Get rid of your popularity and your status at the school? Huh? It's me or him, Lizzie! Choose!" Madeline told her. Elizabeth nodded her head slowly. Before she looked between the two.
"Neither." she told them both before walking away.
