Confession. Love. Hatred.
Being a ghost was somewhat unnerving for Madeline, if that was what she even was. She phased threw walls and doors and she floated around. Madeline was floating when she saw her brother. He's just escaped custody. She frowned and floated over to him curious to what he was saying.
"Why'd she have to kill herself? I never got to say sorry for calling her a slag and then slapping her. She left this world thinking everyone hated her, and that's the worst part." Reginald cried into his hands. Rocking back and forth slightly.
Madeline frowned and she reached for her brother but hand went threw his arm. Madeline's frown deepened as tears started to pool her eyes. She then heard Margaret's sorry voice. The ghost scoffed and floated over to where Margaret was.
Margaret sat on her own hugging her knees and clutching her stomach. She head tears in her eyes and Madeline frowned.
"Now what am I going to do? My only support is gone! I'm going to have to have a abortion. I'm going to loose the popularity I worked so hard to get! Because Maddie was so selfish!" Margaret growled and she punched the wall.
Madeline's eyes narrowed at Margaret's confession. So she had been using her and couldn't car less about her death?! Madeline shook her head she'd been so stupid. She had suspected Elizabeth of doing that but not Margaret? Madeline then left the sobbing pregnant teen alone. She found her way towards the area the gangs hung out.
Freddie sat there drinking heavily and smoking. He was on the red brick wall and he was enjoying himself in his drunken state.
"Maddie was a slag! She deserved to die. She shouldn't of posted that video, she shouldn't of cheated. I shouldn't of fallen in love.....Well at least I still have Lizzie. All it takes is to win her heart. I think I already got it, though." Freddie said his voice becoming soft towards the end.
Madeline listened to him and sighed. He was right she had been cruel and he had gotten himself drunk because of the stress of the night before. She sighed and looked at Freddie one last time before leaving.
Madeline made her way to Elizabeth's house. She saw the girl laying on her bed. Tears in her eyes. Madeline sighed and floated towards her slightly.
"It was all a misunderstanding. I never loved, Freddie. I probably never will. It was Maddie I loved. I was trying to protect her. That's why I was watching Freddie's actions during English. That's why.... it's all my fault she's dead. She felt as though I betrayed her. When I actually love her. With all my heart. But she'll never know now. Because....Because I was to late!" Elizabeth then flipped over and sobbed into her pillow.
Madeline stared at Elizabeth with wide eyes. The girl was lesbian? She'd loved her? Madeline watched Elizabeth and then sat down on the bed next to her. She put a hand out and rested it on the girls lower back. Surprised when it didn't morph threw her. Elizabeth sniffed and with a shaky voice finally spoke again.
"Goodbye Maddie."
With that Madeline felt a pulling sensation and she was suddenly fading into nothing. Her soul began flying upwards to heaven, where her parents were waiting with open arms.
