"Hup!" raised Cassandra her rose-red gold-tipped staff, colliding with a man's neck. He was struck into the wall with great force, enough to give the wall a large crater and crack its immediate area around. The wall almost collapsed because of it, with the sleek hot-red haired female sighing a breath as she loosened her stance.
The crowd all around her cheered in reverence of her display of skill sat in their elevated seats, raising their pumped fists in the air. The atmosphere moments later were a mix of tension and excitement. Was she going to fall this time? Is her weapon going to break and make her concede defeat? Is the next challenger finally enough to take her down? These questions were within all of the spectators, the arena owners and their hired men, and even her next challengers.
She just exuded so much beauty, style, and grace with every swing and thrust of her staff, every kick with her shapely, aptly toned legs, every bob and weave, acrobatic leaps and flips, the flow of her blazing red hair with white highlights. Her body moves in accordance of how she wants it to move, a perfect sync of the mind and body working harmoniously. She gave way to a sigh, a breath of relief that she got through yet another fight, and the prize money she could win is only getting higher and higher.
"Aaaaand once again, the Phoenix Cassandra Shin has won just as stylishly as she did against the last fighter! Make sure you put more bets on her if you want guaranteed money, or bet against her if you think that there's someone in our roster that can defeat her!" hyped the announcer, screaming with high intensity. He was considerably smaller and lankier than the redhead bombshell, around her belly button if compared to from side by side. He jogged to the female who plopped down at the center of the arena, resting against her staff.
"Miss Shin, any words?" asked the small male, to her, and the crowd went to silence eager to hear her words. Cassandra caught her own breath in astonishment, looking around for a moment before chuckling. She raised her bo staff and thrust it towards the sun, still sitting down.
"I won!" She shouts triumphantly with a very girly tone for her tomboyish voice, accompanied with such a charming smile that sends the crowd reeling and hysterical. After that, she puts her pole down to rest on it, exhausted from the fight. She's partly faking most of it.
"A casual and simple yet meaningful words in this arena! Thank you Miss Shin, please proceed on back to the lobby to get some rest and prepare for tomorrow's final three-way fight!" said the announcer, Cassandra standing up in response. She waved and gave the crowd some service while she walked back.
"Haaaah... Holding back is harder than how I'd thought it'd be..." exasperatedly sighed the redhead, pocketing her freehand. She spun her staff around her right hand with her fingers alone as she made her way to her partner who was sitting there, shirtless as usual. He didn't even have the common decency to at least use his cloak to cover his large, finely chiseled and strictly trained muscles.
"How's your match, Ye Qiu?" asked her, meaning of his match that was held before hers. In terms of martial arts, she's been taught a much more effective style to defeat enemies in large groups with some moves that are incredibly taxing but just as effective against single targets while he has the direct opposite.
"It was really hard for me, actually." He looked up at me with an anxious expression and an apologetic smile. He always looked so adorable when he smiled like this, except for the fact that he only had this expression when he'd hit a woman he got matched up in these coliseums. Cassandra sat down beside him and stuck her ample chest out for relief and partly jealousy. Mostly jealousy.
"Was she good?" asked the redhead, looking at him as her chest threatened to burst out of her skintight white t-shirt underneath her short black leather jacket. She had a light pout on her face, her orange amber eyes half-lidded in disinterest. Ye Qiu passed her the waterskin they both shared, filled to the brim with water.
"In terms of her fighting style, she could use some work. Her style seemed to have primarily used wild and large movements, and its sneaky with its quick attacks, but her reliance with the movement of the forms didn't quite pair well with her fundamental mastery of the quick attacks." Ye Qiu dragged on about the one thing Cassandra didn't mean, but at the very least she felt happy that he didn't focus on her appearance instead. She looked at his face, his lips especially, then back at the mouth of the waterskin for a brief moment before drinking water from it.
"Yeah? Tell that to her, maybe she'll work on it." said Cassandra sardonically before taking in another sip from the waterskin. Ye Qiu laughed and scratched his cheek, looking bashful while he blushed. Cassandra rolled her eyes in response. The male looked like he wanted to see that martial artist again, and that unsettled her to a degree. Speak of the devil and she may appear, that same person in question had come over to approach the two of them.
"A-ah, hi! Hello... Ye Qiu, was it? You're the guy I fought earlier, yeah?" meekly asked the black haired female. She had a high cut qipao that went up to her hips, exposing all of her thick and shapely legs. A nice, slim and athletic body that could only be gotten through martial arts training. Are these the types of girls he liked? She wondered, the mouth of the waterskin stuck in her mouth before she could say anything rude. The girl seemed meek and kind-hearted.
"Y-yeah, that's me! Mei Ling, nice to meet you!" bowed the girl to the male, whom stood up awkwardly to greet her. She was much smaller than him while he was at an average height for a male of five foot six, and all that Mei Ling could see was his pecs. She stared at them, bewildered and attracted. Before long, she snaps herself out of her own reverie and looks at the male who had an awkward yet kind smile with a cutely blushing expression. Look at these two, the atmosphere's getting steamy.
"So, what is it? Did you need something from me?" asked Ye Qiu, expectant of something. His eyes darted from her round face, her dress, her chest and lastly, her legs. He looked so goofy, it's kind of cute. Cassandra sighed and looked at the two with such a bored expression and waited to see where this conversation was heading.
"I-I kind of overheard what you said moments ago, an- and it seemed like you knew what you were talking about... I wanted to ask if you could... maybe... help me train my fighting style?" Mei Ling couldn't sit still with Ye Qiu's muscly stature right in front of her, her dark brown gaze darting to and from the male's face, his exposed upper body lightly shining in sweat from their last match. She had started to fidget a little bit, her exposed legs from her qipao nudging against each other. Wow, she's definitely gunning for him, huh?
"Oh, yeah sure! I just got my form beat into me by my father, is all. Nothing to it. Cass, when's my-"
"Our three-way's tomorrow. Have fun, man. You too, Mei Ling! He's a real gentleman." interrupted Cassandra bitterly, scoffing and smiling at the two lovebirds who're about to get it on later tonight. The thought crushes her, seeing Ye Qiu with someone else, but it's not like they're in a relationship. However, that line of thought just made Cassandra even more pissed about that fact.
"We're not going to do anything weird! I just wanted some pointers from him, that's all!" sharply denied Mei Ling, unable to look at Cassandra's blazing orange amber eyes. She was partially talking about the truth, for the first part anyway. After that these two won't be able to contain themselves and start sparring intimately. Cassandra sighed and looked away, closing the waterskin and slapping it hard on Ye Qiu's right manboob.
"Ow!"
"I'll be out getting some rest and food, so you two can have fun as early as today!" said the female as she walked away, swaying her hips as she walked hoping Ye Qiu would at least glace at her. She was merely doing it out of jealousy, definitely. As well as her reluctance to just be outright honest with her feelings. Shortly after showing a little show for her childhood friend, she got out of the coliseum, and was greeted by the medieval-age city they were in.
