Saccharide Heinz
Paris, France: Oeillet de règne Académie Theatre
8:50 A.M.
I ran as fast as I could, the time limit of the bomb before it explodes is approximately 15 seconds. My legs were sore from climbing these spiral stairs, they were newly furnished so they are a little slippery makes it difficult to run faster.
When I reach the top, a circle of light made me squint my eyes for a brief second before looking down. I braced myself for the 10 feet drop to the top of the stairs to the wooden grounds.
"You have nowhere to escape, Dante! If you can't die in my hands, you'll die with my presence!" The laughter behind me reassured me that the lunatic behind me is gaining his speed to catch up on me.
I counted.
11...
"I won't let Madilyn end up with you!"
12...
"You can't jump, can you?"
13...
"Wouldn't blame you... Your old bones surpassed the brittleness of any stale crackers, any day!"
14...
"JUMP!"
15...
The impact of the color bomb behind me pushed me off the platform.
"Shit...!" I braced myself with the surrounding air around me.
I jumped and rolled perfectly in time, lucky enough with no injuries and broken bones. Many memories play whenever I look down on the ground but thankfully, the claps and cheers after I made that jump somehow, eradicate them.
"Bravo! Mon Cher!"
They clapped.
"Amazing, Heinz!"
And whistled...
"Ey Romie. That was some hecking good acting!"
They complimented the 2nd lead male role, Romien Travis, who plays the antagonist of the play. The brown-haired guy has his hair up in a tight bun; his face was very manly for an 18-year-old boy. It was probably because of his facial hairs that made him so mature for his age.
I'm surprised he didn't get the role of the main lead protagonist.
"Good job, Heinz. We're not that bad!" he smiled.
He laughed and approached me on the stage before we fist-bumped because we finally finished polishing the action scenes of the play.
"And that concludes our action scene rehearsal for the spring play!" Klavier clapped and spoke on the microphone.
"Everyone you did a good job!" He announced happily before looking at me. "Ketchup that fall was a little bit sloppy but I can't expect much from you so I guess we can work with that"
I got used to the indirect compliments he was giving me, my patience improved since last month, Racquel's aunt works wonders on cases like me.
The headache was minimal and when the memories came flooding in, I could control myself more.
"Fuck you, faggot" I chuckled and got up from the stage.
But the way I speak, I can't change anything about it; I'll be the same swearing machine that I am.
"Next week, the leading lady will finally join us..."
All of us turned to the entrance to meet with the gentle face of Sir Edward Broshe. He looked at me and smiled. I smiled back before exiting the stage to meet him.
"Good morning Sir..." I greeted him.
"I see you're improving already" he complimented before leading me outside the theatre to talk.
"Very much, Sir!" I bashfully said. I'm not really used to being polite to anyone but I make exceptions for the people who help me.
"Raine is getting better. I visited her a while ago..." he said.
"Thank you for the-"
"No problem. It's my job to help you"
He smiled one more time before he walked the other direction, not after, patting me on the shoulders. I didn't bother to make the conversation longer because he must have something more essential to do.
"He's such a charmer, right?"
I felt Racquel tapping me on the back before staring at the macho back view of Sir Edward.
"Yeah..." I answered.
He's been great guidance for me and Raine. Raine was confined in bed for almost a month because of her severe foot injury; I'm helping her with her studies since.
We didn't have time to change the leading lady so Raine and I practice every night, with limited actions of course. It feels good to finally have a normal life and relationship with her.
Although, I haven't been able to declare my love for her...
"Raine's not pushing you to do this but-" a blonde girl chirped.
I sighed and waited for her expected statement.
"You know you got to do it before spring ends right?" Racquel handed me a bottle of cold water. "After spring, we'll be bombarded with tests and projects"
Just as I expect...
"I'm planning, no rush" I twisted the cap and drank some of it.
"I have an idea where you could do it" Racquel excitedly showed me some pictures of the places for date ideas.
"Where should I declare then?" I asked as I scroll the pictures on her phone.
All of them looked good but two places caught my eyes, I smiled and took a picture of it using my new phone. I searched for the location and saved it on my GPS.
"I'll text the details. And also your schedule for treatment tomorrow, Auntie told me to send it to you" said the blonde-haired female beside me who was evidently excited for the date.
I thought Racquel would be a hindrance in this story but I was thankful that I met her because if it wasn't for her, I would not get the help I was supposed to get.
She was a good friend to me and Raine...
"Just tell me where to confess. Raine already made me a schedule book for my treatments for the next months" I told her and handed her cell phone back.
"Man I really love that girl"
I suddenly had the urge to punch a faggot right now as Klavier joined our conversation and told me how she loved Raine for being so perfect as if I wasn't there.
I know he's gay as hell but I still don't trust him-
Or maybe, I just really hate him through the depths of my soul.
"Hey, boyfriend here, Klavier!" Racquel giggled and playfully slapped Klavier's cheek.
"You're not bf and gf if you don't confess duh." He crossed his arms while explaining with exaggerated expressions, "And I would prefer somebody with class for my baby girl than you"
Minutes later of his bullshits, I had enough and decided to walk away from both of them. I turned to Racquel and said softly, "Just text me, Racquel,"- hoping that Klavier would hear but I guess bats really have a sharp hearing.
"What's that? I want to know!" he threw a tantrum at Racquel.
"He can't know, Racquel," I winked at the girl and put my hand son my pocket.
"No girl, don't fall in his charms! Wake up!" He slapped Racquel and I felt the sting, judging by the sound of it.
Racquel didn't seem hurt, for she just laughed and went along with the male's childish tantrums. "I have to know!" He shook Racquel's shoulder more.
"No can do, faggot!" I laughed and finally decided to go straight to the dorm to see Raine.
"Hah! I know your schedule with the psychiatrist. Maybe I'll just pay you a little visit then!" Klavier shouted at me when I was ten steps away from them.
That little...
"What the fuck did you say?!" I came back to him and shouted at his face.
"I'm still Raine's best "boy" friend you know?" He teased which made my right eye twitch.
Racquel tried to go between us but her laughter got the best of her so she just fell silent to watch us battle again.
"Here we go again!" she cackled.
I was ready to burn this worm to the ground when I saw someone in the corner of my eye. My peripheral vision saw a white-haired boy, wearing a muscle shirt with camouflage pants, waving while walking towards us.
"Mind if I interrupt fellas?"
