While Naruto was excited about seeing Kayle, Sasuke felt annoyed.
Sasuke: 'Why is Naruto so close to him... he always says he wants to be my friend and that he is my rival, but the moment Kayle showed up he completely forgets about me ' *snort*
Kayle noticed Sasuke's mood getting sourer and smiled.
Kayle: "What is it Sasuke? Not happy to see me again?"
Sasuke: "Nothing, what are you even doing here ?"
Kayle: "I'll be joining your team till the end of this mission and we will go back to Konoha together"
Sasuke: "How come? where is your team?"
Kayle: "Oh I don't have one, I'm an adventurer"
Sasuke: "An adventurer?"
Sakura that has been silently listening until now had a surprised expression as she didn't expect Kayle to have chosen this path as she started explaining.
Sakura: "Adventurer are also known as the roaming squad their main mission is to supply the village with all the regular raw materials needed, they are also rewarded for any useful information they bring back and they finally they can accept last minute missions that couldn't go threw the normal procedure to either a lack of manpower or a too short notice"
Kayle was very surprised that Sakura remembered this much about such an obscure profession, she was definitely a smart girl, or at the very least she had an excellent memory.
Sasuke: "Isn't that the unpopular career?"
He looked at Kayle suspiciously and asked.
Sasuke: "Why did you choose to do this? you were the only student that had grades similar to mine in the practice exam"
Kayle: "Hey it's only unpopular because you have to spend a lot of time outside of the village which makes it hard for everyone with a family, but for me I like it because of all the freedom it gives me"
Sasuke: "Freedom? that's something useless... as a Ninja, if you don't have strength, you can't have any freedom... you threw away the chance to learn from a Jonin... look like I overestimated you"
Kayle sat down at the table and started eating Naruto's food.
Kayle: "We each have our own goal don't we? mine is very simple, I just want to be free, without any shackles forcing me to do anything I don't like... as for a Jonin to guide me? Kayle smiled without saying anything and continued eating the food on the table this time taking Sakura's share as he saw that Maru already has eating everything Sasuke had on his plate. as the tension in the room kept rising, Kakshi finally coughed clearing it at once.
Kakashi: "Well Kayle is pretty stong, he could handle the three of you pretty easily"
Kayle: "Yep! the three very easily and I could handle the four of you with a little difficulties"
Kakshi, Sasuke, Saukra, Naruto: *Vein poops on the forhead*
Kakshi, Sasuke, Saukra, Naruto: "Don't be arrogant... or we could solve this in a spare outside"
Kayle: "Sure let's do that! how about tomorrow moring? I'd rather look around today and see around"
A fire burned inside everyone eyes as Kayle left to have .
Kakshi: "Oh it's been a long time since we spared together, I can't wait to see your progress"
The day when quite peacefully, Kayle watched both Naruto and Sasuke doing the tree climbing exercise, after that he went to see the progress of the bridge building seeing that everything went smoothy before finally heading back to the house so he could rest.
