Kakashi and Kayle shook hands then started going back towards the three unconscious genins.
Kayle: "That was very interesting and so much fun! we should definitely do that again if we have the opportunity "
Kakashi: "You really are something different... I never taught I would lose to you this quickly but if this was a life and death match I could have used Chidori for a double knock out"
Kayle: "Good thing it wasn't..."
Kakashi: "By the way... what was that water Jutsu you used... I've never heard of it"
Kayle: "Oh that's one of my creations which I'm the proudest of, I created that Jutsu myself it makes me go almost two times faster on earth and on the water the effects almost double"
Kakashi: "That's very impressive... it restricted me so much.... whenever I tried to come closer you shot water arrow or water blades from your feet, making it impossible for me to come close range"
Kakashi spent the rest of the route reflecting silently about the fight, even if he wasn't showing it, his pride received a massive blow. Losing against someone of similar age to his own students generated a big frustration inside him... a fire that had extinguished a long time ago started burning once more.
Kashi started rethinking about his past, he noticed how much time he had wasted, even though he kept training regularly, his ambitions slowly died off as time kept going on. Even Gaï that was miles apart when they were younger had around similar strength right now.
Kakashi: 'Look like I need to start thinking how to optimize my training... and start doing it seriously... I can't let everyone get stronger than me... I need to have enough strength to protect the village... Even in my last fight against Zabuza I almost lost and got my students in a dangerous situation it's time to wake up'
Kayle in revanche had stars shining brightly in his eyes, defeating Kakashi was far from simple, even right now Kakashi was only a step away from being a Kage level ninja, he was also a future Hokage after all, so winning a spare against such an opponent felt very rewarding to Kayle. he could finally see the results of his everyday training and he still didn't go all out as he still had the eight gates that he could activate.
Once they reached the spot the fight started they could see Sasuke, Nauro, and Sakura waking up slowly, Kayle went and started healing them using medical Ninjutsu. he quickly healed any injuries they had and helped them restore to their peak conditions.
Sasuke had mixed feelings, surprise, anger, astonishment, and even a little admiration, he wondered how Kayle could get this strong while being around his age. He since young had always put out a lot of effort into his training, he was first in the academy and no peer could come close to him in terms of strength. But right now he faced something he didn't think possible, as Sasuke was deep in his thoughts he heard Naruto asking a question which brought back his focus to reality.
Naruto: "Wow! You are so strong Kayle! Did you beat Kakashi-sensei too ?"
Sakura looked down on Naruto, she felt it was really stupid asking a genin if he won against a Jonin, wasn't the result obvious to everyone? why was naruto this mindless? she looked towards Kayle that was smiling brightly at them, seeing his smile she found that Kayle had a little charm that she never noticed before, and seeing how he had defeated the three of them she couldn't help but glance towards Sasuke and feel a little disappointed by her crush.
Kayle: "Let's not talk about winning and defeat, it was only a spar... Tonight I will be treating everyone to a meal as long as they let me use the Kitchen"
Kakashi laughed as he will finally get to eat Kayle's food once more and Naruto's stomach grumbled loudly thinking about it.
Kakashi: "By the way thanks for healing everyone Kayle! I will go and rest a little, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura you go ahead to the bridge and make sure everything is going smoothly if anything happens call me"
Kayle: "Well I will look a little around before heading to the bridge myself... see you later guys"
Everyone nodded and left for their respective destinations.
