Kakashi that had consumed most of his chakra went back towards Tazuna's home to rest and recuperate it as quickly as possible, his mind was more at rest as he knew that Kayle would stay with his team, so the risk of anything bad happening to them was quite low.
Meanwhile, the three genins were on top of the bridge being built talking to each other.
Sasuke: "How the hell did Kayle get this strong... Naruto? If I'm not wrong you guys have been friends... do you know why he is this strong?"
Naruto: "Mhhh... well Kayle had always been very strong... he trains quite a lot! he also taught me a few taijutsu tricks when we hanged out together and he spends a lot of time with the green beast of Konoha"
Sasuke: "Konoha's green beast ?"
Naruto: "Well he is a join that is known for his taijutsu training... Kayle even told me he was Kakashi's official rival! and when he was young Kayle spend most of the day training with him, that's why he only sent clones to the academy"

Sakura: "You said he didn't attend the academy and only sent clones most of the time?"
Naruto: "Oh that! yes! that was super useful! this way whenever we wanted to spend a night at his place or mine he could prepare the ingredients needed for the meals beforehand during the day while we were still at the Academy! too bad I didn't know how to make clones at that time or I would have done the same, the Academy is so boring"
Sasuke and Sakura looked at each other feeling very perplexed by what they just learned, With only a clone Kayle had always maintained the first in the rankings in the whole Academy, Kayle in their eyes wasn't only a genius, it became a real monster.

Sakura: 'Well Kayle is stronger than Sasuke... we just proved that with our fight... he is just as smart as me... his Academic grades in the academy were as good as mine after all, as for he doesn't lose in terms of appearance either..'

Naruto looked at Sakura over reacting suspiciously not understanding her reaction while Sasuke felt a little relieved, he just felt her look on him, he recognized that look quite well as he felt it when he lost everything... the villagers had given him a look of disgust just like Sakura had done a few moments ago.
Naruto: 'Sakura is blushing! Has she fallen for me ??'
Sasuke: 'Good! I think she won't annoy me anymore! that's really good news'
As the trio was talking, Kayle finally arrived after making a small detour.
Kayle: "Hey guys! did anything unexpected happen ?"
The three genins looked up towards the newcomer and Naruto waved his hand.
Naruto: "Hey Kayle!!! nice to see you are back already!"
Kayle: "Well i just looked a little around, so tell me guys have you been doing any training lately ?"
Before Naruto could answer again, Sakura hit Naruto's side with her elbow.
Naruto: "Ah!"
Sasuke: "Tell him about me"
Naruto: "Oh yes I forgot! well Kayle that's Sasuke Uchiha, and this is Sakura Haruno, they both were in our class at the Academy "
Sakura: "Nice to meet you, Kayle!"
