Staring at the man on the sofa, I don't blink. He is still a little strange with odd silver hair and red-pink eyes similar to that of a rabbit. His skin is paler than the whitest paper.
He grins at me as he sips the orange juice.
WHY IS HE HERE?!
"Wade, meet Tin - Pan's bodyguard. Tin, this is Wade Rider - Pan's one and only friend." Liana introduces as she brings me a glass of milk.
My eyes widen and my jaw drops. Is she serious? She knows this weird man?
"Nice to meet you Tin." Wade smirks as he holds out a hand.
My face heats up as I glare at him and shake his hand roughly. "I should have shot you." I mutter under my breath.
His red-pink eyes twinkle in amusement, "Did you say something?"
"Nothing!" I say quickly and drink the water Liana brought for me.
I smile at her as she stands on the other side of the room and gesture for her to sit near me. Her face turns red and she timidly sits down.
"How is he doing?" I ask her.
Panda King seemed to be in a worse state than I had originally thought and his fever spiked up again after we returned.
"He's asleep but he keeps calling for you." She says quietly.
I frown, why is he calling for me in his sleep? Is Pan having nightmares? I shake my head. I shouldn't worry about him like this.
Liana watches me and smiles, "You should go see him." She says gently.
"O-of course." I nod and walk out of the room. I'll just have a small look and come back.
Slowly, pushing open his bedroom door, I step inside. My eyes widen as I watch the man tremble in his sleep. He is having nightmares.
"Tin, help me! Tin!" He mumbles quietly, thrashing his arms around.
My chest tightens. It's my fault. I should have stayed with him and stopped the criminals from taking him.
Feeling guilty, my feet take me closer to him. Reaching out my hand, I gently brush his soft black hair. His hair is longer and more beautiful than mine.
"Tin!"
I gasp and glance down but he is still sleeping. He grabs my hand with both of his hands.
"Pan." I say and sit on the edge of the bed.
"Don't leave me. Help me Tin." He whispers in pain, holding tightly onto my hand like a baby.
"I'm here Pan." I touch his face gently with my free hand. "I won't leave you." I promise.
"No! Don't take Tin away!" He suddenly shouts and pulls me down onto him. I can't breathe as my face is squished against his body. What kind of nightmare is he having?
His body is warm and feverish. But his grip on me is stronger than usual and I can't break free. I'm so tired after rescuing him. Submitting to his strength, I lie still against his chest. I can hear the steady rhythm of his heartbeat and my eyelids feel heavy as it lulls me to sleep.

As soon as I wake up, I reach my hand out and feel his forehead. It's cooled down but just to be sure, he should rest some more before he returns to work.
I find myself staring at his long eyelashes and really wanting to touch them. Giving in to my desire, I lightly touch them. Soft.
"You're so much trouble Panda King." I mutter and press my lips against his forehead.
A minute passes by before I realise what I just did. What did I just do to Panda King?!
I cover my mouth with my hand and stare at his face. No! Why am I acting like this? This unsettling feeling is nothing more than guilt!
My face heats up as he stirs before falling asleep again. Yes, I just feel guilty that I left him alone to get kidnapped. That's all.
Getting off the bed, I walk downstairs. The servants stare at me oddly and Liana grins when she sees me.
"What's up?" I ask in confusion.
She chuckles, "They were shocked to see you in Pan's room last night. You were sleeping soundly in his arms."
For the second time in the past ten minutes, my face warms up. They all saw us sleeping?! They didn't come to check on us this morning too did they or my accident might become public knowledge in the King household?
"Liana, I'll make some porridge for Pan." I say, trying to keep my voice stable and ignore the stares.
"Okay. I'm going into the company. Tell Pan to rest for today and he can return to work tomorrow." She smiles, "What would we do without you Tin?"
I smile, "Take care Liana."
Her face tints pink as she nods and leaves.
Liana is the perfect candidate for a girl friend. I'm so used to being mistaken as a guy that girls usually don't approach me for friendship. I could do with a girl friend.
After making the porridge, I pour it into a bowl and take it upstairs with a glass of water. Knocking on the door, there's no reply so I enter. Where has he disappeared? I frantically search around the room. Don't tell me he has been kidnapped again?
"What are you doing?"
Startled, I jump and turn around. A half naked Panda King greets me with a towel loosely hung over his Adonis hips. I gulp and force my eyes to move up. Did he just shower?
"Um..."
"Are you done staring? You look like you're ready to gobble me up." He smirks.
My face turns scarlet and I glare at him, "N-No! I'm a man, I only like women!"
Panda King steps forward, "I know." He laughs, "Why are you so frightened?"
"I-I'm not!" I protest and step back. I should keep a safe distance.
He grins as he approaches me, "I haven't thought of a way to thank you for rescuing me yesterday." I hold my breath as he leans down and whispers into my ear. "What do you want?"
Shivering at his warm breath, I move my head away. Why is my heart beating stupidly fast?
"N-Nothing." I say quickly, "It's my job and it's my fault you got kidnapped."
He frowns and comes closer. I step back and end up against the wall. Deja vu. Why am I in this situation again?!
"Thank you." His voice sounds deeper in his low tone and my heart is in danger of exploding.
"I-it's fine." I turn my face and my nose bumps into his.
"You really look like a girl." He says quietly as he gently touches my face.
My whole body is on fire at his touch. What is happening? Doesn't he think I am a man? He has a phobia of women doesn't he?
"Well, I'm a man!" I say firmly, coming back to my senses.
He chuckles, "I know. But I guess it's better like this or I would probably fall for you."
My eyes widen in shock. What is he saying?
"You better not fall for me." I say hurriedly, putting on my best poker face.
"Don't worry." He pats my shoulder, "There's no way."
I shouldn't be feeling disappointed.
"What's wrong?" He asks, his ocean blue eyes travelling around my face. Does he have to keep staring at me like a creep?
Sticking my chin up, I meet his eyes, "Nothing."
He finally steps back and I breathe out in relief.
However, I don't have time to rejoice as he yells in surprise when he is forcefully pulled towards me by his towel.
His towel is hooked onto my trouser zip. I stare at him in horror as he cannonballs into me, pushing me back against the wall. I can feel his body again but the other thing I can feel is...
"Your towel!" I gasp as it slips off him. Screaming in surprise, I quickly cover my eyes.
His laughter rings in my ears, "We're both men, what's the big deal?"
"You're a man!" I shout in shock.
"You're strange." He says in amusement.
"Why aren't you moving?" I say, still covering my eyes with my fingers.
"Well...I can't right now..." He says quietly and I see him glancing down through my fingers.
My hand moves away from my eyes and covers my mouth as I realise what he means. "You pervert!" I shout.
"How am I a pervert? I can't control it." He says, staring at me as if I am an alien.
Wait, I'm a man right now! I can't be affected by this.
He grabs my arms as he pulls his body right up against me. I want to melt into the wall behind me and disappear.
"Stay like this." He mutters. Why is he not caring about his towel which is lying on the floor near his feet?
"Woah! What are you doing?"
