"I just had an idea," Dexter whispered to Leo.
"What is it?"
"I found these while searching for supplies." Dexter opened a box and took out some Supper Soakers. Leo filled them with soapy water.
"Kelly heads up!" Leo yelled throwing a loaded gun in her direction. She caught it effortlessly. Ryder's gun, however, was thrown without warning but he still caught the gun without even looking at Leo.
"This is gonna be a fair fight. So everyone can come to get a new gun and refills here in the kitchen. So the kitchen is a safe area. To win you have to be the least wet. Because we still need to clean you have to pick up any trash you see. The loser has to clean the tables and anything else left over." Leo explained the rules of the game on Dexter's behalf.
After an hour of picking things up, parkouring and spraying each other and the surrounding with soapy water and later normal water. Surprisingly they made a lot of progress while having fun.
After they finally decided to end their little fight there was no clear winner so they all cleaned together. When they were finished the massive cafeteria was spotless.
Suddenly a potato salad came flying at Ryder and Kellian. Ryder quickly grabbed a lunch tray and blocked the flying salad.
"I don't think we ordered a flying potato salad... So where did this come from."
"Who cares!? Look at the floor I just cleaned!" Ryder complained immediately stooping down to clean up the mess.
"Wait, I just realized. Ryder, you actually cleaned up most of this place."
"No. That was you guys. I don't clean. I don't have a cleaning obsession."
"One. You literally just cleaned. Two. No one said anything about an obsession."
"Ugh!"
"Now is not the time to argue! He's here with his gang."
Kellian turned to see who Leo was referring to. To her dismay, it was Ein and his group.
"Oh no. Are you guys on cleaning duty?" Ein asked in a mocking tone.
"You. Are you the one who threw that?" Ryder's voice sounded threatening. Like one wrong move and he wouldn't hesitate to send you to the hospital.
"What's it to 'ya? You gonna try and fight me big bad alpha? You do realize you're outnumbered right? You do know that if you lose we get to take your title as alpha."
"You mean you become qualified to take part in a proper one vs one fight for the title. It would be stupid if you lose one fight and lose your title completely." Leo corrected.
"Whatever point is... Aren't you scared Ryder?" He said walking closer to us separating himself from his group to show his fearless. Obviously not grasping his situation.
"I didn't get an answer." Ryder's fists tightened.
"Yeah. It was me. So what?"
Within a second Ryder was beside him throwing a powerful punch sending the guy to the floor. "Clench your teeth."
"You're supposed to say that first, Ryder!" Leo corrected.
Ryder stepped on the guy. "What would you have done if that salad hit her?"
"So what?"
"So...? What...?" Ryder stomped on the guy making sure the guy was feeling as much pain as possible.
Ryder crouched down and grabbed him by the hair, "You hid tiny heavy metal balls in there... Do you know what that would do to a human?"
Expecting his friends to step in if things got dangerous, he spat back, "Then she shouldn't have come to the school in the first place."
"By that logic, you shouldn't have been born in the first place. No one needs trash like you." Ryder smashed the guys head into the ground every time Ryder pronounced a syllable. Shortly after the guy went unconscious.
A bowling ball was thrown at Ryder when he was getting up. Without thinking he dodged beautifully. But because he dodged the ball was now heading for Kellian.
Ryder luckily ran over and skillfully caught the bowling ball just before it hit Kellian in the face. Ein's gang continued to throw things while Since just stood there and watched.
Leo grabbed Kellian and dragged her outside the room through a side door.
"Are they going to be okay?"
"They'll be fine as long as they don't get hit in any weak spots."
"Weak spots?"
"Don't worry about it." Leo smiled awkwardly.
"The nerve of those guys! If Ryder wanted to he could end them effortlessly and Dexter's no pushover either." Leo began to complain.
"Dexter's strong too?"
"Yeah, he's the Beta. Plus look at how big he is. And I'm the Delta."
"Oh."
"Well, I'm not quite the official Delta. Ein is but he doesn't deserve it. If a title suited him best that would be the Omega." He explained further.
Leo checked the watch on his wrist, "Looks like it's almost time for club activities."
"We're going to have to change into your gym uniform since we got all wet."
"Okay."
"What is a club activity time? I was homeschooled so I don't know."
"Oh, it's just the time of day where people with common interests come together and do something fun.
"I'm going to change then report the cafeteria incident to the principal."
Kellian changed into her gym clothes and began searching for a nice quiet place to wait for Leo and gang. She found a nice little bench under a tree that was on a hill. She decided to draw while she waited.
She had a pretty good view of some of the sports clubs, she took a picture just in case she felt like colouring it later. Then began to draw everything she saw.
"Kelly! Do you have any clubs in mind?"
"No, I don't really know much about clubs."
"Luckily clubs are still advertising themselves. So we can go check some out together?"
"Okay. Are you in any clubs?
"The go-home club?"
"But school hasn't ended."
"Those who aren't in clubs get to go home. The teachers don't care since the clubs are student-run. "
"Do we have these every day?"
"No, not every day. Only Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and not every club is open all of those days."
"Ryder's in a club but he doesn't go very often and he won't tell us which one he's in."
"I see."
"Now let's go I'll show you where the clubs are, tell you what I know they do and my opinion of them. If you have questions I can't answer we can ask the club leader." Leo said, helped her up then began to give her a tour of the clubs.
She didn't end up joining a club but she enjoyed the tour Leo gave.
