When Daniel dropped the bombshell of her daughter's fate to Aria, Aria froze for a few seconds. Then, she smiled and looked up at her husband. "It doesn't matter. She grew up, I am just happy she is happy." She then looks down. "Yikes, I am the stepmother of a God." She says quietly. After drinking their coffee, the pair exchanged numbers. Proceeding to Daniels apartment, they decided to layout a game-plan.
One Year Later.
It was the day that the Earth and Enam would merge. In that one-year time, Daniel and Aria had consolidate their power in Tazman. Daniel had even told the King of what was to come. Daniel and Aria had been married a second time, as well. This time, their marriage had been held in a high-rise on 6th street in Austin, Texas.
Looking back on the last year, Daniel could not believe all that had happened in his fourth life. He had met two gods, enjoyed the touch of his wife once more, heard that his daughter was a God, and learned that he must save two worlds and billions of lives. It was a lot to take in for someone that was just a little over 100 years old between his 4 lives.
As the hours draw near to the time of the coming apocalypse, Aria and Daniel hold onto each other. This was not a webnovel, manga, or anime; this was a real-life doomsday situation. Aria and Daniel look at each other as the time comes. They kiss each other, and then…
Nothing happens.
Aria and Daniel look at each other in the eyes and frown. The doomsday scenario of volcanoes and earthquakes did not happen, but when they open their eyes, they are in the gear of their avatar in the game. "Oh boy." Daniel says as he looks at Aria. He had grown accustomed to her gear in the game, but in the real world, her gear was gorgeous. Her slim body fit snugly into the red dress that was plated black around her breasts and organs. Her combat boots were a dark grey to match, and all of her accessories were either black or red. Aria smiled up at Daniel as he stands there like the king he once was. Having been a hard worker in the gym over the last year, Daniel had lost the 100 pounds, and it showed. Now, he was a hulk of a man, his height fit well with his muscles. He stood there with the legendary sword he had got from Tazman, smirking down at his wife. "Lets go experience the world." He says, a wild look in his eye as he runs out the window of his apartment, smashing through the wall and down onto the street 20 feet below.
Aria shakes her head as she follows her husband. When she gets down to the street level, she looks up at him, and is shocked. "What the?" She says as he starts cutting through monsters left and right. The street that had once been a sprawling metropolis street was now occupied by forestry, and a stream ran through the Inn. There were about 45 people in front of the hotel, looking up at the massive tree that was now growing up through the building. Panicked screams and shouts could be heard as everyone began to look at the scene of Daniel literally mowing down monsters as if they were mere weeds in front of a weed Wacker.
"Hey guys, the Internet is on the Status Screen!" Someone from the group calls out. "Look! You can even see levels, and screen cast!" Calls another. "Quickly, someone record that guy!" All of the sudden, everyone in front of the inn began to livestream Daniel. Aria sighs and watches her husband. He had always been a battle maniac, and in this situation he was no different. She smiles as he finishes killing the last monster. He then turns to the group. "Yo, if any of you guys are level 50 and under, there are a bunch of good drops over there." He then ignores the group, taking Arias hand. "Apparently Hades wasn't kidding about putting a curse on my soul." He says with a slight laugh. Aria just shakes her head. "We haven't even been in the Apocalypse for one day, and you have already killed your way through a monster horde." She says while shaking her head. "You are one strange man, my love."
Daniel laughs at his wife as the two begin to walk towards the sea. They had determined that they would meet up with the parties they had established in the Kingdom of Tazdam once the world went to shit. There, at the pier, was a boat that Aria had bought. On the map in their status screen, it showed that their destination was roughly 1,300 miles away. At a rate of 130 miles a day on sea, they would arrive in 10 days. Daniel opens up his item menu, bringing out his communications crystal and contacting Tazman. "We are on our way." He says as they begin their sea journey. When we get within 30 miles, we will contact you again. Since both Aria and I have agility over 1,000, we can run the rest of the way on water.
Once he finishes speaking, Daniel hangs up, not giving Tazman the chance to speak. In a twist of fate, the king needed them, not the other way around. Laying on his back, Daniel takes off his clothes as well as his armor, and lays there in his shorts. "Lovely day on new earth, isn't it, babe?" He says as she walks up to her in a blue bikini. She sits on his lap as she hands him a Jack and Coke. Since he was no longer the original Daniel, alcohol was no issue to him, and he loved the drink.
Aria rolled her eyes at his dad joke, nuzzling up to him as she uses on of her skills to create a doppelganger.
