Chapter 18 - Chapter 18: Aggue

As the Armies of Earth began to mobilize, the demons finally began to move as well. Misael laughs as the day had finally come where the two worlds combined. "Hah! Prepare yourselves, God's and Satan. For years my brethren have been subdued in our malice. Today, we finally let loose!" Prior to the ritual, Misael had been a cautious planner. He had been preparing to steal the world's Earth and Enam ever since his humiliating defeat at the hands of Apollyr. Now that the day had come, he relished in the feeling. Killing 13 million human souls and stealing their hatred to power his spell had truly brought him happiness he had never enjoyed.

The ritual that the demons had conducted consisted of 3 ingredients. 1st, all seven deadly sins had to be emulated in a isolated area. To do this, the Demons had gathered millions of mortals in a dungeon. They had then released different chemicals in order to draw humans to which sin they were weak to. The second ingredient was human souls. In order to power the spell to merge two worlds, the demons had had to kill the millions of humans in the dungeons, collecting their soul power. The final ingredient was the blood of 1,000 humans. Only by combining the power of demon and human soul power could the worlds be merged.

After the merging of Enam and Earth, Misael stood in front of his army. The Army he had recruited were some of the strongest demons in the multiverse. Every pantheon had demons under different names, and he had brought the strongest of them.

"Brothers! The time has come. Let us feast on the malice and hatred of these war mongering humans. Let their fear drive your passion. Let their hate quench your thirst. Let their deaths empower our victory!" Misael calls out as he looks out at the demons assembled. While he had been the main perpetrator of the plan, these 100 demons with him had assisted with capturing the 13 million souls needed for his spell. In a sense, these demons were the reason why he was now the most powerful demon outside of Satan.

After receiving the green light, the demons began to spread out in all directions. Their only thought in this moment was one thing: "Chaos!"

As Misael gives the orders, a fluctuation of mana could be felt from him throughout the area. Everything within 10 miles was completely flattened as Misael activated his mana aura. "Hah. It is time to take this world over."

The first demon to arrive at a human settlement was a demon named Aggue. He was a relatively powerful 3rd tier demon. As he landed, he looked at the human village at the bottom of the hill he had landed on. He smirks as he walks forward. He was one of the few demons that preferred hand to hand combat over using mana. As he gets closer to the village, he notices men and women rush out of their houses. All 100 occupants tried to escape, but it was too late. The massacre began.

Aggue then began his trek north. He could sense the fluctuations of powerful beings in the distance. He was considered a demon of sloth, so as his power grew, his hunger did too.

Little did he know that his journey would only lead to his death. In that moment, a showdown would occur that would change the course of the next twenty years. "Hah! Humans are so weak." He says as he looks towards the borders of a kingdom in the distance. Standing tall, a sprawling castle lies in front of him. As a demon, he had better vision then most living beings, and could see 20 miles with relative ease. The castle he saw in the distance was impressive, powerful and strong as well as inviting. "Too bad that today you will fall." From this distance, he could reign powerful blasts of mana down on the castle, but he chose not to. He savored the feeling of human fear as he killed them. Taking away the dignity of all the humans was one of his favorite past times before demons were made to hide to the general public. He tsks in shame as he remembered the way that his Lord Satan had been injured in the Holy war by Zeus. "Never again shall we demons be weak."

As Aggue begins to draw closer to the kingdom, Aria and Daniel make their way to the kingdom of Tazman. They were currently running on water as fast as they could, serious expressions on their face as they continue towards Tazman. "You feel it too, my love?" He says as he looks at Aria. She sighs worriedly as she looks at Daniel once they reach the shore. "Yes. There is a powerful being heading right for Tazman." The two look at each other and nod before taking off in the direction the demon was coming from. Both Aria and Daniel had much at stake in the kingdom of Tazman. Since they had both made alliance with the king, they would not allow for the kingdom's destruction.

Arriving before the Demon, Daniel looks down at him. What lies before them was the ugliest creatute that either Aria or Danie had ever seen. The Demon was short with the head of a piranha, the body of a lion, and the legs of a bear. It looked like a build a bear workshop experiment gone wrong. Daniel took one look Aria, then looked back at Aggue. "Man, you are one ugly looking motherfucker." He says with a laugh. "Do you kiss your mother with that mouth?" Stopping his insults, he could not help but start laughing as Aggue felt danger signs from the humans in front of him. Every instinct in his body was telling him to run, but he had his pride as a demon to stand on. He growls as he looks at the human. "Human, I know not who you are, but today, you shall die."
