Chapter 4 - CHAPTER 3: WINTER WEDDING

DECEMBER 20, 1039

After months of planning the wedding the time finally came for it to occur.

As the palace was preparing for the biggest celebration to happen that year their was a lot of hectic people running around. King Nolan himself would be in his study avoiding everyone as he could care less about the wedding. As he had refused to wed since the beginning of his kingship this was the last thing that he wanted to be doing, but the kingdom needed an heir to prosper in the future, so he had to agree into marrying the princess. Hera had royal blood running through her veins perfect for a king.

The main party hall was transformed into the wedding hall and it was the most beautiful place that winter. Princess Hera was dressed in the most beautiful wedding white gown with a heart shaped off the shoulder top with long sleeves detailed in a sheer lace pattern. Her dress had lace trimming on the bottom edges making it look so beautiful. They had even detailed it with diamonds on the top half making her shine like snow her trail was so long it needed 10 people to assist her by holding it up as she walked down the aisle.

The church sections were decorated with the most beautiful blue calla lilies around the kingdom a flower so rare that they choosen it as their main piece. Those flowers indeed resembled the princess's blue eyes. They looked so amazing against the white back drops and the snow that covered the floor to really bring into account of the winter wedding. King Nolan himself was dressed in black attire with a cloak marked with the kingdoms new emblem, a wolf face with to swords crossed dripping in blood with a blue diamond in the center. It certainly was different from the previous king emblem of a hawk with a golden rose. It matched the new King personality quite well as he himself was described as a lone wolf. He did have countless of blood on his hand and the swords from the battlefield during his 10 years out there. No one truly knew what the blue diamond represented but they all speculated that it stood for the new Queen, Queen Hera. As the color was exact to her eyes.

After the two were pronounced husband and wife, King and Queen of the Aleinva Kingdom they led the quests to the ball room to continue the celebration of the new couple. They began the party by leading the crowd to the dance floor as they had their first dance as Mr. and Mrs. Bonvaich. They took her last name as she was a true royal descendent. After the first night of celebration the newlyweds were forced to share a room as it was tradition nothing happened as they had no love for each other. They just slept the night away till it was time to been seen as a couple out in public that following day to continue on with the royal wedding celebration festivities.

Their relationship did not progress as a man and wife not for a long time till Nolan finally decided to open up to Hera but that would be in the future.
