Grandpa Grandpa can you continue to tell us the story please? Both children said with excitement clear across their faces as they sat in front of their grandfather eagerly awaiting his response.
Of course I can Reyna we are just waiting on one more. Said Wolf
Who grandpa? asked Percy
Well your little brother Rhett.
Rhett? He asked with a confused look on his face. But his mom doesn't like for him to be around us as she fears that you will be upset.
His response had taken Wolf by surprise that he now understood want his son was meaning the night before.
I know she doesn't, but your father wants all his children to listen to the story besides he is family, he is blood just like you and me. Wolf said giving them a soft smile reassuring them of what was to come.
Okay grandpa, I love my little brother Rhett he is so cute and shy. Reyna told him with a smile on her face.
Then the door open and in walked a shy little boy with his silver hair across his face hiding his features yet only one emerald green eye could be seen, which was a clear indication that he was indeed his grandson. He was short for his age and very quiet, you might forget that he was around. He walked towards the the kids that were waiting patiently on the floor, he sat on the pillow next to them and slightly looked up to see the grandfathers face.
He then said, "Hello sorry I'm late, what exactly are we doing here" in a soft voice that could barley be heard by only those near by.
Hi brother Rhett, both children said with pure joy in their eyes offering him a smile to reassure him that everything would be fine.
Grandpa is telling us a story about our anc...ancestors. Right grandpa, Reyna said.
Yes Reyna, I'm telling you guys the story of our family history. Yesterday I told you about King Nolan and how he married Princess Hera. Then came their 5 children and what happened to the two older ones. How one of then was kidnapped as a child. Today I'm going to tell you about the twins and who took the crown after King Nolan. So let's begin were we left off.
PRINCE HEINRICH AND PRINCESS MORRIGAN
Now the 4th prince, Prince Heinrich, was always next to his little sister they shared a room till they were 10 years old. Even after they had separate room the twins would sneak into each others room because they hated to be separated from each other they had comfort in each other presence. Now these twins being the youngest had a very different look from their older siblings. The maids would spread rumors that Queen Hera had cheated on her husband that's why they didn't look anything like the others. Some would even say she used dark magic which would explain their dark hair.
Back in the day it was tradition for the royal children to have their own castle with their own servants. But maids would refuse to work in their castle as they saw the kids as evil beings. The children never did anything bad, but the rumors were based on their looks with their dark brown hair, with one blue and one emerald color eye. They thought the children were cursed.
The twins eventually were able to find a loyal servant to be attentive to them. They knew him as Mr. Wadsworth. He took care of the kids as if they were his own. Mr. Wadsworth had actually served the King as his right hand in the battlefield. He taught the kids how to fight and both were really good at it. By the age of 12 they were stronger than most men in the army. They continued to train till they were 18 and on their birthday they both enlisted in the army to fight for their country. They twins fought alongside their older brother Prince WolfGang who was now 22 years old. He was still refusing to wed, let alone date even though he was extremely handsome at the time he was known as the most eligible bachelor with his status as prince yet the hardest to conquer. All the woman would fawn over him, but he denied every single lady in the kingdom it seemed.
Now Prince Heinrich himself was a ladies man he always had a new lady with him. He used magic to cover up his emerald eye as most people knew it was the royal family eye color. He didn't want to be recognized as the prince among the people of near by towns while they were out of the castle.
At the age of 22 just after four years in battle he decided to come home to settle down yet it wouldn't happen as how he hoped he would. Upon his last visit to the castle he had fallen in love with a wicked woman indeed. She was known as a beautiful woman with an ugly heart. Her name was Freya Carrington she was the daughter of one of the richest nobles in the land she was untouchable and for her to have a prince fall in love with her she had hit the jackpot. Freya had fallen pregnant but before she could tell Heinrich he had been killed from a mysterious person during his last battle before he planned to retire.
As for Princess Morrigan she was like Prince WolfGang they both just wanted to fight claiming more land and to leave bodies behind as evidence of their work. The three fought in so many wars but on March 16, 1069 the three became two. It was the last battle that prince Heinrich was to fight in, but suddenly a man dressed in all black armor with a skull mask emerged from the valley of bodies he was so fast he snuck up on prince Heinrich from behind stabbing him. Princess Morrigan had witnessed the incident not making it in time to save him. Her brother laid their blood spewing out of his mouth. The masked man just walked away with no remorse just feeling accomplished. She ran towards her twin brother calling for WolfGang to come, she also yelled for a healer, she did not want to loose her brother. She sat their next to him seeing the life slowly leave his eyes and he slowly told her that he loved her. She cried out in pain letting the tears roll down her cheeks wanting nothing more than to get revenge on the person who killed her brother. As rage began to fill her heart that second she whipped her tears away grabbing her sword and calling on her horse to go after the man in the direction that he had fled towards. With pure hatred in her eyes and pain in her heart she was determined in killing him. Once she came upon him she lunged on him causing his mask to fall off revealing his face. It looked identical to her mother just in a boy version. The same blue eyes she then called out his name Malik. He looked surprised but quickly pushed her off grabbing his mask stealing the horse and riding away. Morrigan sat there in complete shock as the man resembled her mother. She slowly walked back only to break down again upon seeing her dead brother everyone could feel her pain as she sat next to his body letting it all out in that moment.
