When Sara arrived home, Sean was busy cooking in the kitchen. Sara leaned against the door watching him move about before Sean spoke, "you going to keep watching like you are the husband who came home from work or are you gonna help." Sara shrugged as she smiled at his words, "I don't know, you seem to be a pretty good housewife." The words caused Sean to burst into laughter, "you know I'm probably the deadliest person in the planet and I'm slaving in a kitchen for you." Sara smiled as she walked into the kitchen, "so what? A lot of people have hobbies that doesn't match the person everyone thinks them to be." Sean nodded as the two finished cooking. After dinner, Sara noticed the stack of papers on the living room table. Looking through them she couldn't understand the words except her name was on the top of everyone of them. When Sean walked in to see her fiddling with the papers he coughed slightly. Sara bolted up in shock as she had been caught but regained her composure. She addressed him, "what's this with my name on it?"
"You're personal file, when I first made you CEO I had it made to research everything about you." Sean stated walking over and picking up the files. "Then when I married you I reviewed it again." Sara nodded before speaking, "so why are you looking at it again?" Sean sighed before setting the files inside a drawer and locking it, "something doesn't add up and I'm not able to bring you the fruit of my investigation yet. It could just be an anomaly, and means absolutely nothing, or it's something that complicates everything. For now don't worry about it." Sara looked at him before moving on, "what about my kidnapping?" Sean smiled before moving to the bar, "I have found the group that was hired. The reason and who hired them is still being investigated." Sara nodded as she sat on the couch thinking to herself.
When Sean came over he sighed, "I have to go on a trip for a few days, some personal matters need to be taken care of." Sara looked at him, "oh is there anything I can do to assist?" Sean smiled as he sat next to her, "No, you've done enough. This is something I need to do myself." Sara nodded as she leaned over on him. "Sean, I want to have our wedding at the lake." The mans hand froze holding his drink near his mouth. Setting the glass down he looked at Sara, his eyes golden. "I'll call Jessica when I come back and she can began the planning with you. Should I inform mom?" Sara looked at him, "Jessica Crowe? The world renowned wedding planner? The lady who has planned the biggest and grandest weddings?" Sean nodded, "hiring her will bring legitimacy to our marriage. Also she has a history of never having a divorce on her resume." Sara froze, "what makes you think of that?"
"Until death do us part honey" Sean said standing up. "Now I have to leave my plane is waiting for me. If you need anything just call me if Frank can't get it for you. " Sara looked at the man walking to the door the sadness evident in her eyes seeing him leave. After watching him leave Sara pulled out her phone, calling someone, "Follow him and keep me updated." She quickly spoke before hanging up the phone, as she watched the car leaving the drive. Her phone rang in her hand and she answered promptly, "Emma want can I do for you?" The lady's enthusiastic voice came over the phone, "Sara have you heard from Jack recently?" Sara looked at her phone again to ensure who had called her, "no I haven't. Haven't seen him since the incident a few months ago at my offices." Emma sighed audibly through the phone, "alright he hasn't checked in recently. So if you hear from him call me please." Emma quickly hung up after leaving Sara confused. Shaking her head she headed up to the study and begin reviewing the files she had received from Kimberley.
One such file caught her attention. Opening the file named: Project Phoenix, Sara realized it was in a language she had never seen before. Scanning the document into the computer and attempting to use translation software revealed no new information other than a location: London. Logging into the company and searching for more answers only gave Sara a name of a pub in London. Scratching her head frustrated at the results, she paged Frank. After a cordial greeting Sara asked, "Frank do you know anything about Project Phoenix?" The man paused for a moment before honestly responding," no ma'am. Sean normally doesn't share business information with me unless it deals with information for the protection detail." Sara nodded before responding, "arrange travel to London at the earliest moment." The man nodded before walking out.
Across the Atlantic Ocean…
A middle aged man, showing signs of grey in his black hair was sitting behind a desk when suddenly the door opened. Glancing up from the report sitting in front of him, his misty blue eyes looked at the intruder from over his glasses. "What is it?" His deep voice rang out before he looked back at his report. "Sir it's regarding her." The words made the pen in the mans hand freeze. Setting it down he leaned back and motioned for the intruder to continue. "Some one has began looking into it again and Mr. Carmichael is back in America looking for answers as-well." The middle aged man nodded before sighing, "the old man is still searching for the Wolf. Do we have any leads on the other party?" The intruder nodded before responding, "It seems to be coming from Mr. Hayes or as we should call him now Mr. Sean McAlester, Owner of Dearborn." The mans head whipped back from looking out the window to the intruder, "that boy is the owner of Dearborn?!" The intruder pulled out a tablet before pulling up the article of Sean announcing his wife as Chairwoman of Dearborn. The man looked at it and looked at the woman. A sense of familiarity came to him as he looked at Sara's face and those piercing blue eyes, but he couldn't seem to place her anywhere in his memory. He pondered for a moment before handing the tablet back and saying, "arrange a visit to the American President, we can use that as cover for why we are there. Find out what you can about this young mans wife. I can't place her but she seems familiar to me. Keep me updated on the people looking into this matter." The intruder nodded before walking out. Once the man was alone he said aloud, "So the Wolf has the biggest empire under his wing too. Just how many secrets are you hiding from the world? Even hiding her from me. Maybe its time to meet" before he turned around and looking out the window again.
