After an uneventful trip to London, despite protest from Claire and John to not go, Sara was standing her hotel suite looking out the window when her phone rang. Reaching over her eyes turned icy blue recognizing the number immediately. "What is it." She coldly stated, then the voice responded, "ma'am he lost us when his plane landed in New York yesterday morning. We have no idea where he is but his plan is still there but vacant." Sara sighed in frustration, "very well." Hanging up the phone Sara looked out the window before muttering to herself, "you even ditch the detail I hired to protect you?" Turning around she went into the bedroom before changing into some jeans and T-shirt. Grabbing a baseball hat and some sunglasses she snuck out, somehow avoiding the watch of Claire, before heading out onto the city streets. Walking down the streets Sara noticed nothing unusual, as she approached a pub before entering it.
The pub labeled Donahues Pub was completely uninteresting to the normal eye. It seemed almost invisible to the people passing by. When Sara entered the pub, the inside was dimly light and practically empty it seemed. Other than a pair of men in the corner and an old barkeep the place was deserted. No one glanced at her even after she sat down at the bar. The barkeep, still wiping a glass in his hands, asked her "what will it be?" Sara thought carefully before ordering a pint. 'Best not expose to much till I get more intel about this place' she thought to herself while waiting for the beer. She pulled out the file on Project Phoenix setting it on the bar and pretended to be engrossed in the words, while noticing that the barkeep and the men in the corner exchanged a look. Soon both men stood up before walking in her direction, while the barkeep reached under the bar for something. However the three men froze when the door to the bar opened again.
Standing in the door a taller man, around 6' 2" (about 189cm), wearing perfectly tailored black slacks, a dark red shirt ordained with onyx buttons. His brown hair combed perfectly to the side the beard that was growing in perfectly trimmed. With his left hand in his pocket and the other looking at his phone he suddenly sensed something wrong. Looking up his brown eyes saw the barkeep with his hand under the bar and the two men from the corner frozen in step with their hands inside their jackets, all three of them glancing between him and the women sitting at the bar. The newest entrant looked at the bar to see the jet black hair of the woman hid her face. The man simply waved his hand and the two men returned to the corner booth while the barkeep went back to washing cups. The man didn't glance at the woman, walking straight past her as he made his was to the secret door in the wall behind the bar but right as he reached the door he froze. He turned to lock eyes with the woman at the bar. His brown eyes, a shade darker than when he entered, meeting her bright blue ones. "Sean?" Sara exclaimed right as he said hers with the same confusion. The sudden exclamation from the two people shocked the three men in the bar. But Seam was first to regain his composure, "what are you doing here?" Sara seemed awaken from her daze after seeing the man again answered, holding up the file, "Project Phoenix." The three men began to sweat looking between their boss and some woman who not only knew him but about this secret. Sean nodded before waving his hand beckoning to follow him as he opened the door.
Through the door Sara was shocked, gone was the look of the dusty bar and replaced with a corridor. The sleek design and white color made it look more like a laboratory or hospital then a building hidden inside a bar. Sean said nothing as he lead Sara to a room. After making sure the hallway was cleared he opened the door and entered the large expansive office. The room looked very similar to the office inside their home, black and sleek. Sean sat behind his desk before sighing softly, "how did you find out about this?" Sara raised her eyebrow before responding, "company files but I can't understand any of them. I was only able to pull an address from the files." Sean nodded before setting the file on the desk, "the entire report is written in a code I hand wrote years ago. Only a select few know how to decode it, not even John knows. I cannot allow you to follow down this road." Sara looked up at the man. For the first time he told her to not look into something. Curiously she asked, "so your still hiding things from me." Sean stoop up from the desk grabbing the file, "right now this isn't something that is being hidden. It's something that should never see the light of day." Pulling out a lighter and setting the file on fire, he looked up at Sara as he dropped it into the trash.
As the file burned suddenly the door opened. None other than Josue Ramirez entered, "Sean we have a tour of the site in 15 minutes." Sean nodded at the man before grabbing a jacket and headed to the office doors. Pausing at the door he suddenly froze and sighed heavily. Turning around he looked at the woman who's blue eyes had turned light and icy. After a moment he softly spoke, "Sara I never intend to hide things from you. However this is something that's called a worse case scenario. And if Project Phoenix ever is implemented then far worse things are happening. So please forget it exist and forget you ever saw it. Now would you like to see the building site for the first ever Swan Hotel?"
Sara looked at the man who looked devastated by having to hide things from her, however she couldn't let him off the hook that easily so she simply hummed in response grabbing her bag and walked out the door past Sean. As she passed the man she didn't even glance at him and followed Josue out of the building. Sean watched her walk away shaking his head and sighed heavily. Following the pair he pulled out his phone and saw a simple text message 'The Crown Prince of Belgium has announced a meeting with the US President.' Sean's eyebrow raised before a sinister smile grew on his face. It seems he has attracted his prey. His eyes almost turning black he dialed a number on the phone simply saying "I'll be visiting in two days." Before hurriedly hanging up and catching up with the group.
