"Azania?" someone's shrill voice cut through my dream filled slumber, dragging me back into the cruel world of reality. I was immediately reminded of my sins last night as my head started throbbing like I had a woodpecker on my back. A grumble escaped my lips as I tried to ignore whoever the hell it was who dared wake me up on a weekend and tried to go back to sleep. But of course, the universe was always out to get me, so it came as no surprise when my bedroom door burst open and my comforter was rudely yanked away from my body.
"It's almost noon Azania. You may get out of bed now." my dad said teasingly and disappeared out of my room. My face was still buried in my pillow as my mind started racing with the events that happened the previous night. The date, Kevin, our argument, my binge drinking, puking all over Jackass' bathroom floor, the breakdown, the wine and the midnight swim. How did I get so drunk? Tsk tsk Azania.
