Me and ruby both got to the auditorium and took a seat. We waited for the announcer to tell us our schedules. When the announcer showed up he handed us schedules one by one. It took ages to finally get mine, and when I looked at my schedule I realized I had a fight in five minutes. I was freaking out because I didn't know it would be this quick. Five minutes fly by and it's time for my fight. I head to the arena and I realize I have no coach , but what I do have is a screaming Ruby.
Let me give you a little insight on how the field looks. It is an octagon that you can customize the terrain in but since this is just an entrance exam it's just a regular ring. We both get into our stances an announcer begins the countdown. I go to tap gloves as the countdown ends and immediately a punch is thrown to my face. I had no room to dodge so I had to take it. "What the hell, I was trying to tap gloves."
He doesn't answer as he throws another punch aiming for my stomach. I go to block where the punch is aiming but he changes the punches direction and hits me in the head.
He must have some type of speed or agility power. Think. What can I do against this guy. A tall lean man who looked way out of my weight class towered over me with his menacing glare and shaved head. He looked like a delinquent who would jump people in an dark alleyway for fun.
I covered my fist in a little fire and went for a punch to the gut. He blocked it with one hand. He grabbed me by my arm and stared down at me. "Give up you can't win there's no point in trying." He says in a whisper, you can tell he meant it too by his tone of voice.
I throw a punch to his head, and then everything turns black.
