My stomach is tossing and turning making all types of noises. I hadn't eaten since this morning, the only thing I ate today was a bagel. Damn, I hope this guy isn't too strong. I see my opponent walk into the ring, he is a 10 foot man. " what the hell," how am I supposed to fight this guy." I say as I hear cheering from someone. It's Leo, why is he cheering for this guy. Then suddenly the 10 foot man says," dad stop your embarrassing me," I stand there shocked, how could such a small man have a 10 foot child. I shudder at what his wife must look like.
I get ready as I use my air power to move my blood faster giving me a speed boost. It's not exactly healthy but it'll get the job done. The moderator counts down , the noise blaring in my ear, the cheering from Leo, and the count of 1, Gooooooo . I cover my fist in flames using air to make the heat more intense and then punching him with all my might. He takes the blow to the stomach like a champ. He has seemingly no damage done to him. He just smiles and punches me in the face. I smack head first into the ground. I kick myself up and he throws a punch at me. I use my air power to slow his punch making it slow enough to dodge. He seems confused on how I'm suddenly able to dodge. I jump backwards into a backflip, remembering why I'm here. Revenge. I can't lose I need to get into this academy so I can beat people like him. I start shuffling around throwing punch after punch. He doesn't seem to affected but I kick him in the leg and he winces in pain.
Got it, his leg must be his weakest part. I mean they have to hold up about 6 feet of a person. I sweep him covering my leg in fire. Then I get him in a headlock and start burning his neck slowly. He taps out eventually enduring my attack for about a minute. Leo doesn't look very happy from the crowd. He's shouting things like " that's a dirty move, hey ref that's an illegal hit," I stand there baffled by how I just beat a giant man.
That's when I realize I g-got into the school.
I run to the infirmary not stopping for anything. I get there and I go to Ruby's bed and she's gone.
