I suddenly sat up. I realized I was on a bed in a white room. Oh wait those are curtains. I stand up and walk through the curtains and realize I was in an infirmary. Ruby is sitting down in a chair. She notices me walk out and immediately rushes towards me with a huge smile. "Hey Andrew are you okay" she says happily. " yeah I'm fine" I say lightheartedly. She says "good because you have to watch my match now." " Ok ok I'm coming lead the way."
We got to the ring and I saw a fight coming to an end. A girl got flattened by another girl. She had short pink hair and black boxing gloves. She was scowling fiercely as she knocked her opponent out, and stormed out of the ring.
Now it was time for Ruby's fight. She stepped into the arena when suddenly a giant man walked into the arena. He looked about Three feet taller than me as I stood at six feet tall. He had rippling muscles that could blind you with their shine. I should probably explain Ruby's power. She had future sight meaning she could see up to three moves of her target before they happened. She often used it to beat me in games like checkers. It makes me really angry because I never win.
The referee began the countdown and they tapped gloves and took their stances. They started exchanging punches Ruby being on the offensive. She could tell when he was about to strike and dodged. Every time she dodged the guy got more irritated. He started to pick up his speed with his punches. They became so fast she couldn't dodge. She was knocked down but he didn't stop hitting her.
