"H-Heph, explain this! Why the hell would your sister be with this madman?"
"How would I know? My sister got disappeared for 5 years and I still recognize her because of her crimson eyes and that birthmark on her neck, as to why she's with these lunatic I don't know about that."
"HEHEHE, can't kill now can ya?"
"Tch!"
The platform that we were standing on descended even faster and big sister Agnes vanished with the others, she probably rescued them which is reassuring. I can't stand firmly on my own two feet as the platform sped up and it was just the 4 of us: me, Heph, his sister, and the lunatic. We can't go away now after Heph noticed that his sister is with Belgis. A few seconds pass, all of a sudden the descending platform quickly stops and it toppled me and Heph a few feet. I stood back up as Belgis floated in the air with the little girl.
"Now, you've fallen into my trap.....I'll be taking this girl then!"
"NO, YOU WON'T!" Heph shouted as he threw his dagger at the lunatic
The little girl blocked the dagger and returned it back with higher speed and power. How could a little girl possibly have that much strength in the first place.....Belgis probably did something to her.
"C-O-R-R-E-C-T! I did do something to her! Experiments? Modifications? You'll just have to find out!"
I looked on Heph's face and he was searing with anger, the amount of bloodlust and the intent to kill he's releasing is intense. I kind of sympathize with him, who would want a person a lunatic at that to apprehend a family member and do who knows what to them. If I'm just strong enough to kill this lunatic, I would have done so a long time ago. The room we landed in was pure white like the last room but this room is filled with countless carvings and symbols that probably represented something. There are 4 entrances to the room one in the north, south, east, and west, they're probably from the 4 labyrinths. In the middle of the room, an altar rested whilst on top of it is the floating platform we got kicked out from.
"I hate to do this but, Tarus we need to team up and kill this bullcrap!"
"Let's do this!"
"Pesky ants!"
Belgis summoned several rock golems from the ground, with its rocky hard white surface and glowing red eyes, it didn't look easy to defeat. We sprinted forward and I tried using corrosion on the Nemax and I slashed the golem on its chest and it sliced easily like butter. I also tried the white flames and they easily melted the golems. Heph is having a hard time destroying the golems so I alerted him of what I did and he amplified his flames with his dagger which is a match made in heaven.
"You kids sure are brainy....guess I have to use this!"
Several golems started grouping with each other and the little girl beside Belgis melted them quickly and they quickly formed one giant golem. It screamed so loud that I had to back off from fighting and covered my ears. The newly formed golem had 4 arms and each one held a sword, mace, spear, and axe. I doubt that we could even defeat the humungous thing with just me and Heph. The walls behind me started to melt and to my surprise, a blessing came! Big sister Agnes arrived on scene with her broom.
"Sorry for the wait little boy!"
"You sure took your sweet time!" said Heph
"Oh my, Oh my, you finally talked!"
"S-shut it!"
"Welcome back big sister, were currently taking on this huge golem and it's weak to fire, you can melt it but it will take some time."
"Thanks for the explanation, little Tarus!"
She caught me off guard and I blushed a little, big sister Agnes came running to us and used her broom as a sort of wand. Every time you use a crown fragment it glows, her fire crown fragment let out a faint light indicating she's using it, you can use the different crown fragments with different techniques or skills, she let out several pillars of fire and it burned furiously. The pillars of fire headed for the huge golem and the golem quickly switched out its weapons and formed a huge shield to defend itself. I sprinted for the left flank of the golem while Heph went for the right flank, I used corrosion again on the Nemax to amplify its effect, the first slash was deflected so I used all of my strength on the second strike and I also let out some white flames and I successfully cut off the left leg and without letting go of the sword, I kept the sword stuck on the body of the golem as I ran through the back and I turned the Nemax in a vertical position and I aimed at slicing the golem in half until the head. I used some of the white flames on my feet and made it explode with amazing force it pushed me up and with the momentum, I let out more corrosion through my sword and after a few seconds of going up I let out the last slice through the middle of the golem's body and once the Nemax is in the neck area it got stuck and I couldn't move.
"Oooooooh! What a perfect subject for target practice! Flary, go do your thing!"
"Yes." the little girl spoke softly
She then created a bow of fire and there were several arrows aimed at me and it's ready to shoot. I have to do something quickly and good thing Heph and big sister Agnes were quick to move as they formed a wall of rock by combining the earth element and heating it up with some intense fire.
"Thanks!"
"Get the hell out of range and move quickly! What are you doing snail!"
I swiftly used the Nemax as leverage and I jumped and quickly removed it from the golem's body and I thrust it to the wall created by those two and I quickly climbed up, once I got over the wall big sister and Heph binded Belgis and Flary with ice and hard earth and I got in the killing range. With Belgis's surprised face, I sneered at him in joy and I let out the remaining Thyl and strength I had and aimed for his neck just barely missing Flary. I let out a huge shout and let my anger overflow and sliced on his neck...I cut cleanly and his head flew....as for the kid I let Heph deal with her. Now that there was just a headless corpse in front of me, my hands shook and my whole body followed...I can't believe I killed someone....and the nightmare is finally over...or so I thought....the Nemax started glowing and shaking...I stuck it into the ground quickly and let go of it because when I held it, it started burning my hands which I can't even see the burn marks. After all, it's still peach black...I can't believe the place I struck the Nemax on...it was the altar, thus the altar started to crack and out came a skeletal looking hand.
"T-Tarus...I think you shouldn't have stuck your sword in that altar...." with a scared expression while hugging his sister Heph said those words out loud
"Little Tarus, I agree with little Heph.....maybe you shouldn't have had thrust your sword there....the altar itself is letting out an ominous aura....the killing intent in it is frightening..."
We couldn't move.....the little girl in Heph's arms embraced him and started crying...I'm forcing my body to move but it wasn't listening to me.....finally, the hand gripped the hilt of the sword...
