I started sweating because I'm so confused about what's going on, why would I be banished from this place even though they were the once in the first place to kidnap me and Cherri from the village.....this world is so full of mysteries...
"W-WHAT!? FATHER, WHAT DID TARUS EVEN DO TO DESERVE THIS KIND OF HORRIBLE PUNISHMENT?!" Cherri started to be defensive
"SILENCE! YOU MAY HAVE THE BLOOD OF THE ROYAL FAMILY BUT DON'T YOU DARE CALL ME FATHER!"
Trembling with fear and teary-eyed, Cherri ran away as fast as she could until she's out of sight. The Grandmaster turned his gaze to me, with eyes full of hatred and rage I looked the Grandmaster in the eye as I let out some killing intent whilst the judge froze and couldn't move.
"I like your eyes kid, let's talk in private. Guards let the others out and make sure that no one comes in, were going to discuss something."
The crewmen with their white long spear harassed everyone out of the courtroom and the Grandmaster sat on the judge's chair and table. He rested his face against his right arm and tilted his head to the right. He looked rather imposing and I didn't dare to move as I quietly used corrosion on the metal rope around my arms.
"Now where were we.....anyways, your rather a brainy brat, finally finished breaking down the rope?"
"How the hell did you know?"
"It's easy to know what kids are thinking these days, sheesh."
"Your one asshole of a parent...."
"Parent? I've lived to see all of my blood-related relatives pass and you call me an asshole of a parent? All my kids related to me by blood are dead."
"Then why the hell did you kidnap me and Cherri from our village?! And what the hell is this place?! We just wanted to live a normal life in the village and not some soon to be destroyed kingdom in a bunker!"
"I really like your attitude kid, as you heard what I said a while ago, Cherri is the daughter of my cousin...I didn't know about it until we arrived at *your world*."
"W-what....."
I started to sweat even more as the Grandmaster revealed some things that seem to be classified....but another world? What the hell is truly going on....this whole worl- the universe? This whole thing is bonkers....the Grandmaster started coughing some blood, it's probably from the curse passed on in the family with the deal with the Sin of Greed.
"G-Grandmaster I may have a way as to cure your curse....it's more like to destroy your curse...."
"Ho.....you really are one interesting brat.....then explain..."
"I have this thing called 'corrosion' and I can use it to destroy somethings and send them to oblivion."
"Interesting." the Grandmaster rubbed his long white beard
"W-well what would you like to happen?"
"What happened to your bravado? HAHAHAHA.....anyways it would be beneficial for the kingdom do get rid of this curse, I would like you to try...."
"Alright! This might hurt a little but I'll do my best!"
I used some of the white flames and mixed it with corrosion, why I used the white flames is because it seems to be sentient somehow, what I realized is that if I use it on someone that I consider my enemy it will harm them while if I use it against people I consider my ally it seems to heal them somehow...I don't really know how this works.....but it works....so please bear with me as I'm just an 11-year-old kid and I'm not the creator of the crown fragments.....I mentally focused the flames and limited the output as much as possible because the lower the output the more the efficiency and the more it took a toll on me, my goal right now is to mix corrosion with the flames and reach the Grandmasters body and locate the curse to break it. I found the curse on the heart of the Grandmaster and I have to be very delicate and gentle if I want to remove it, his life is on the line. I swiftly directed the mix of fire and corrosion to his chest and I split up corrosion and the white fire to heal him whilst I tried to remove the curse, I made a hole through the Grandmasters's chest and while healing him I quickly contacted his heart with corrosion and healed it right away. A puff of black smoke came out and it seems to be the curse, eyes opened and a gaping mouth smiled from ear to ear with spiky teeth it sent chills down my spine.
"Oh what do we have here.....seems like some brat destroyed my contract....I'll deal with you once we meet...Tarus Neispira.....HEHEHEHE."
The thing spoke and said my name plus the name passed down to the 8th sin.....the thing vanished into nothingness and the Grandmaster fainted, I quickly ran out of the room to call the guards then I quickly went back to use some of the white flames on him to heal him. I explained to the guards what had happened and they called for one of the head medic to examine the Grandmaster.
"T-THE CURSE IS GONE! LITTLE BOY HOW DID YOU REMOVE IT?"
"I just used some fire from my crown fragment and it seemed to irritate the curse to make it leave..." I had to lie about what happened
"O-okay, we are in your debt! Crewmen, get this boy some brand new clothes and make him shower!"
One of the Crewmen gave me a brand new set of white clothes that we used for sleeping as the ones I currently wear are burned to a crisp, luckily my bandaged arms and legs survived. I went back to my room to grab a towel and went to the shower area for crown users. After I showered people still avoided me, but like I could care about that, I went to search for the others and I bumped into...Denzo!
"D-Denzo! You surprised me, what the heck are you doing? I thought you're stuck in prison?"
"Me? Oh I just got my way out...well I was comfortable in the prison, doing nothing and getting free meals but the sin of greed contacted me that his contract here broke and I'm looking for who did it and what happened..."
"Damn....."
I didn't want to tell Denzo that I was the one who destroyed the curse or contract. As I walked with Denzo going to my room we heard a loud boom coming from the arena and there was a man wearing a purple suit with elvish ears and his black shiny hair flowing to the left, he wiped his suit and fixed his monocle.
"Gleesh! You arrived!" shouted Denzo
"Denzo, I contacted you a while ago, have you found any leads?"
"Nope, not at all!" Denzo yawned
"Sigh, what did I expect from you, lazy bastard....oh who's your little friend over there?"
"This is Tarus the sin of regret! Tarus meet Gleesh the sin of greed!"
"N-nice to meet you....."
"Welcome new kid! I'll talk to you guys later, I'll go and find the remnants of the contract in the body of its host."
"Good luck!"
"D-Denzo how can you guys be so familiar with each other?"
"Well we've been through thick and thin for the past 300 years, we're basically like family now!"
I checked the damage on the ceiling of the arena, there's a straight clean hole coming from the surface.....I then heard several screams coming from the throne room and I swiftly ran there while Denzo hopped along. I dropkicked the double doors with all my strength with corrosion and I destroyed it.....what I saw inside is horrifying.....Gleesh...the sin of greed.....held Cherri and Ellaine in the air on their throat and squish them every second passed....they couldn't breathe or even scream...I quickly used the fire to propel me to cut of Gleesh arms and I used corrosion on the Nemax.
"What the hell are you doing!!!!"
"Oh, it seems we have some visitors! HEHEEE!" he chuckled
