Gleesh held Cherri and Ellaine by their throats and he clutched them even more tightly. One wrong move and they could be suffocated, the man is a few feet away and he's out of my range. I'm so nervous on moving, it's as if my feet are glued to the ground as he's letting out some bloodlust on me.
"WHAT DID THEY EVEN DO TO YOU?!"
"Hoho, first of all, they didn't do anything to me, they just had to be blood relatives of that old bastard...."
"Y-you mean the Grandmaster?"
"Yeah, you probably think highly about him but deep down he's a cruel murderer. You don't know about his unpleasant side."
"I really have to thank you Tarus, if it wasn't for you I wouldn't be free from the shackles of the sin of greed....now it's time to dispose of trash....crewmen! Get them!"
The grandmaster suddenly appeared and sent some crewmen to surround us. He didn't even care for Ellaine or Cherri, I swiftly summoned the Nemax and I kicked the ground with my still fractured legs to push me through the crowd of crewmen. I sliced any crewmen blocking the way to the grandmaster, I had to put my trust into Gleesh as to not harm Cherri and Ellaine. The crewmen had tough white armor and were hard as steel so I used corrosion on the blade to cleanly slice through them like butter. After going through the crowd of crewmen my body is heavily affected by fatigue that I had to thrust the Nemax into the ground to help me carry my body. My muscles are screaming in pain as sweat dripped from my forehead down to the red carpet.
"Bring them in!" grandmaster shouted
Three people clad in purple armor brought three blindfolded people near the throne and they were tied up with their mouths covered. There was one female from the three that just entered and with her short hair, she kind of reminded me about Zeksis. The other two were males with a bulky frame and they had swords on their hip sheaths the only difference was the female one had what looks like a rapier.
"This should motivate you...Tarus Neispira...TRAITOR! Behead them!"
"Yes, your highness!" shouted the 3 knights
They removed the blindfolds and to my surprise, the people tied up were Lilly, Mandy, and flary. They tried to scream but the cloth covering their mouths were tied tightly so that didn't do much. They just kneeled on the cold marble ground awaiting their doom. I turned around to make sure that Cherri and Ellaine were alright to not find them at the back. I gazed at the king with so much rage and killing intent and he just smiled back in a way that resembled someone that I despise.
"Actually, on second thought don't behead them...."
I was surprised about what the grandmaster had said out loud and the others turned to him as they were probably expecting to live or something. When all looked fine already....he continued what he was gonna say and to my horrors...
"...Instead of beheading them, remove their hearts while it still beating!"
"Yes, your highness! These sinful traitors of the Catalina Kingdom shall perish for the act of treason! Accursed crown users shall not exist!"
"What discrimination! What did they even do to be accused of treason?!"
They ignored me and they removed their blades from its sheaths to prepare for the killing. I tried to willfully move my legs as to start running, but I got glued in place out of fear and confusion. The grandmaster's smile grew even wider as my vision got blocked by smoke and the fear even grew to new heights, my heart couldn't take it and I clutched my chest as I lost power in my trembling legs. I want to vomit, I want to cry, I want to go home, I want this to stop....please...
"Commence at once! HEHEHE!"
The sound of metal thrusting into human bodies happened at once. The girls screamed out of pain that the cloth covering their mouths was useless. Their screams subsided after a few seconds as their dead, lifeless bodies fell to the ground.
[Once a man falls into despair...there's nothing left but...REGRET!]
An intimate voice spoke to me as I got off the ground, I covered my right eye with my palm lining it to the symbol in my hand. The surroundings were covered in black and decayed with each step I took. I pulled the Nemax out of my now glowing symbol still covering my eye, as I pulled it out a smooth loud clank can be heard. After pulling the Nemax my hair of white and brown slowly turned pitch black. I removed my right hand covering my hand, suddenly intense searing pain struck my right eye as I lost my vision and with only one eye functioning properly things got difficult. I took some steps with my heavy legs as I dragged the Nemax on the ground.
"W-what the hell!? Shining Chief Generals get him!"
"Yes!"
The three ran to me and swung their blood-covered swords as I swung the heavy Nemax to block their attacks. They swung their swords again as I used corrosion on the Nemax and I sliced easily through they're swords. The head of the sword went flying and it struck the ceiling of the marble throne room. I ran past the 3 knights who were still surprised but they didn't seem to care that much as my target is the grandmaster.
"Ho....you quickly got through them.....how about this!"
He opened several black holes with hands reaching out from them, this move looks like the one I used with the crown fragment of death. I looked at the crown fragment of death and it's glowing a bit. I turned to the grandmaster out of surprise and he smiled.
"Heh, surprised that I'm using your move?"
"Shut it old man!"
The arms reached out for me but I just sliced them to pieces, the grandmaster seems to have a move that lets him use another person's crown fragment. I avoided any arms as I ran up the stairs to the throne but on the way there my left leg got caught by an arm and it gripped me tightly. The fingernails of the arm were sharp so it pierced my left leg rendering me unable to move and another arm grabbed onto my other leg and did the same, I had no choice but to cut off both legs to be free. As I cut off my legs I used both my arms to crawl on the ground as fast as possible and I clenched the Nemax with my teeth.
"HAHAHA, you just look like a mutt!"
My legs suddenly grew back as I ignored the grandmaster, my new-grown legs were covered in a black shadow and when I stopped and touched it, it felt as if there's nothing there. So I didn't bother with this as I got back up and ran with all my might. On the last couple of steps, I boosted myself off the ground with the white flames to propel me up to the grandmaster. I flew in the air and the grandmaster suddenly stood up in surprise.
"T-this i-is i-m-impossible! You monster!"
He covered himself in a wall of fire several feet thick and he proceeded to run. I boosted myself in mid-air and went through the hot scorching flames. As I sliced my way through the embers of fire, I propelled myself once more to catch up to the grandmaster. The whole back section of the throne was on fire because of the red cloth which turned into ash. I reached the back of the grandmaster in no time and I aimed for his heart through his back. A loud clank suddenly can be heard.
