"I am the Crown Prince of Alius, Sirius Luca Licht. It's a pleasure to meet you Lady Celeste Elaine Luminosa", I let my emotions takeover as my eyes narrowed down on her.
Lady Celeste looked at me in confusion for a moment before returning my greeting with a deep bow of respect, "It's an honor Your Highness Sirius."
I knew I was being a bit biased here with my attitude to the Lady but, she will cause a whole lot of problems in the future for my dear brother and future sister-in-law and my sweet sister. So, I couldn't help it.
Allow me to explain, I am currently the Prince of Alius as I said, at the age to five I slipped and fell in process hit my head, I was out of consciousness for nearly two days. During this time, I remember living another life, in my previous life I lived in a world much more advanced, in this world it seems like science and technology made the lifestyle easier, better even and more enjoyable compared to my current, the only setback was that the balance was slightly off. In this other world I remember playing a game on a device, the technology of which I never fully understood in that life nor this.
This game has a story line or plot which seemed to be very similar to my current world's. The characters names are also the same.
The Hero of the story is my little brother in other words the Second Prince Ares Jule Licht. And the Heroine is the Daughter of the house of Viscount Lady Helen Viola Faust, a stunningly beautiful Lady with a heart of gold to match. Ares first meets Helen in the city, when Ares comes in to save her from an uncomfortable situation. After said incident the two slowly become friends and end up falling in love. Ares informs our father of the same and requests for his engagement with Lady Celeste to be annulled. Our father agrees to the annulment only if the Parents of Lady Celeste agree as well. Now you must be wondering how it would be possible to annual a marriage with causing any problems for either or both sides, well that is because the engagement was never made public.
Luckily for the two, both sides agree except for Lady Celeste that is, so she goes on to bully and attempt the murder of Helen, which of course makes Ares angry and in order to get the power to punish her he becomes the King. Taking away my position from me.
And so Ares and Helen live happily ever after, Lady Celeste ends up hanged for her crimes, her family leave everything and give up their position to live in solitude and I end up dying, Raven goes into depression..... in other words, nothing is perfect for both our families after this whole story.
"Follow me, I shall lead you to Father."
She smiles at me and follows; I glance back as she follows behind me. Just like in the game Lady Celeste shows incredible potential her curtsy earlier was perfect. Even now she has a small smile on her face even though as far as I know she doesn't know I'm looking at her or should I say scrutinizing her. She is also beautiful, beautiful enough that she was thought to be the Female Lead at the beginning when the game came out. She reaches my shoulders at her current height; in the near future she will grow up looking just as beautiful as a piece of art: a nice hour-glass shaped body. Her hair is curly and silky to touch light blush- like pink that gradually darkens into a bubblegum-pink that reaches her mid-back, enchanting eyes the palest blue that they almost looked more white than blue.
We soon arrive at the 'Throne Room' I nod at Rod and Marc- the two guards there silently letting them know to open the door. Moments later we are walking towards the Throne where my Father and Mother are seated. I stand at the edge of the stairs leading to the throne and Lady Celeste stops a distance away which is a show of respect and bows once again her right hand on her left breast and her left hand slightly lifts her skirt and her head bows slightly, she saying, "Greetings your Majesties King Gerald Rove and Queen Floren Flora." I hear my Father hum in approval before ordering her to rise.
"It's good to finally meet you Lady Celeste. Considering how much your Father sings your praises I'm sure the entire court would like to see you.", Father says smiling at her, Lady Celeste's cheeks flare up a bright red when she hears that. "My second son Ares should be arriving soon; you both have already been informed of your engagement so I wanted you two to get to know each other for a bit." he continues.
"Yes, Your Majesty."
Right at that moment Ares walks in he greets our parents and formally introduces himself to Lady Celeste as well. I watched silently as Lady Celeste falls for my younger brother, a supposedly pure and beautiful love that will turn into something evil and hideous. I couldn't help the slight grimace that I felt and probably showed on my face for a moment before I schooled my expression to appear indifferent again. Ares decided to walk around the garden with Lady Celeste, so they go ahead. Once they are out my parents spoke out their thoughts on the young lady who was near just seconds before.
"She really is extremely beautiful; her unusual eyes are very fascinating" mother said
"Yes, very. Perfect etiquette and speech as well" father added, "What do you think Sirius?"
They both turned to look at me, I held back a sigh and said, "As you said father, mother, she is both beautiful and really perfect. It looks like she has a good personality as well"
Mother nodded agreeing, "You're right, I'd like to invite her for tea one day, what do you think dear?" Father agreed as well. I couldn't stand there for much longer without reacting negatively every time her name came up so I excused myself saying that there was something I wanted to do.
I walked towards my room and went in, the moment I sat down I felt my body grow heavy with all the stress and thinking, I shut up eyes to ease myself a bit just as I heard someone knock and enter into my room. I slowly opened my eyes to look at my butler Lark walk towards me with a tray and what looks like a teapot on it.
"Would like some Lavender Tea, My Prince?"
"Yes please, thank you Lark. Some tea would perfect right now"
Lark smiled and poured some into a clear glass teacup, he passed it to me. I took the cup and look into the teacup at the purple colored liquid and the lavender flowers that had settled on the base and let its aroma help a little before I took a sip.
As the cup left my lips, I let myself drown in my thoughts while Lark stood beside me. They started with the remnants of my memories of my previous life, I wonder how my precious gem is... I probably died there so I hope someone took care of him for me. Thinking about that devil brought a light feeling in my heart, my thoughts turned to the things in this world and its future, I thought of my family, about Celeste and Lark.
Lark is originally Ares' right-hand man in the game, a handsome man that fans thought could compete with any of the main characters. Ares saved Lark from slave traders later into the game just before he enters the academy, I found him in an orphanage when we had gone to visit. When I saw him, I knew that this orphanage would somehow be connected to those slave traders, so I told father I wanted Lark. At first father was reluctant, I would be to honestly after all he already had a son and another child on the way why would he need to adopt another child?
But begged saying that he could be my playmate or a butler or something, I wasn't sure what then. A soft chuckle left my mouth at the memory.
"Did you think of something funny, Prince Sirius?" Lark asked.
I nodded saying, "I thought of the day we first met, and Lark?"
"Yes Prince?"
"We're alone right now"
"I'm sorry Si, and I remember the first you told me after I met you. I still hold a grudge on it." I smiled softly at that as he continued, "You told me that you would give me to Prince Ares once he grew up."
I thought I had to, after all it was fated that they would meet and support each other. "That was the first time you spoke since you came to the Palace, and hit me too" I laughed.
"Of course, it was, I had just made up my mind that I would trust you and give myself for you and you just go ahead and tell me that you were going to send me away, it was frustrating to say the least."
I giggled at that, well after all that Lark has turned out to be quite the man, he's one year younger to me, since the time we've first met his grown out his hair, he keeps it at chin length, but what I love is how his hair is like the darkest ebony, his yellow-gold almond shaped eyes are also really eye-catching, it's no wonder that his looks are on the same level as the main cast. I'd love to dress him up in various styles sadly he loves his suits more than his life and black seems to be the only color in existence. Thankfully I have my little sister Raven who enjoys the attention I give her.
I set down my now empty teacup and walk onto my balcony, outside I see Ares and Lady Celeste as they sit and have some snacks and tea.
"Everything begins now, it's time to see if I can make a miracle happen."
