Chereads / Train To Seoul / Chapter 3 - 2

Chapter 3 - 2

The next day, all the newspapers were flooded with reports of deaths with the headline- 'ONLY A SUPERHERO CAN SAVE BUSAN NOW!'

Taehyung's Point Of View

'The virus has already started to show its adverse effects on people with a weak immune system. All the hospitals of Seoul are flooded with patients.

Thousands of people are killed.

Many wives have become widows.

Many children have become orphans.

Many have lost their hopes and dreams for the future.

But those who are not killed, suffer from a weird, unknown disease. Their veins have become visibly reddish-green. Their eyeballs are no more visible and they acquire some inhumane qualities. Their bodies are now totally dependent on their minds, influenced by the virus, while doctors are still clueless of this weird illness caused by the virus.

The virus is turning the humans into hungry, brute creatures. They just have one mission in their mind which is, to bite people, spread the virus in their bodies and turn people into monsters of their own kind.

Even the appointment of army is of no use. The affected are even spreading the virus among the army. Thousands have deserted the city, and many others plan to do so.

Only a superhero can change the fate of the city now...'

At this point of time, I had mixed feelings in my heart. I had no idea what to do. I had to accept that Jimin was a far more intelligent scientist than me and creating an antitode against his virus was next to impossible.

With these thoughts whirling in my mind, I felt that the ground beneath me had started to move, or it was the train I was sitting in that had set off to Seoul.

Millions of questions arose in my fragile mind.

Why didn't I help Jimin at the time of need?

Why did Jimin have to be so stubborn?

Why does it have to happen with me everytime?

How will I manage to create an antitode to his virus?

These all questions were driving me crazy when I suddenly noticed that I was not the only one who was shedding tears...
