"I'll take her." Jungkook said.
"But sir, you know that you'll be blamed. Right?" Yoongi warned.
"We have no time... and no other option. The embassy will not help in anyway during this state of war." Jungkook replied.
"As you wish, then." Yoongi sighed.
"Ji Eun, you are going with Jungkook oppa. Okay?" Yoongi told the child while pointing towards Jungkook.
In no time, Yoongi took the left people to a safer place. It was time for Jungkook to take Ji Eun. He told her to take a seat in his car. Next, he drove all the way to his home, that was where he could possibly go.
"So Ji Eun, how old are you?" he tried to ask.
"14 years old." she said.
Again, silence filled the air. Unlike the other girls he met in his highschool, she did not ask much questions. She just sat quietly as she stared out of the window.
"Were you travelling alone, or with your parents?" he tried to ask again.
"My grandma... she lived in South Korea, just died few days back. My parents arrived earlier, but since I had an urgent assessment, I came a little later after which I got trapped." she narrated her story.
"Do you know where your parents are? Maybe we can help you in getting there. "
"No. My father had to come to pick me up. But I think he wasn't allowed to enter the airport. Even if I try to contact someone from my family, my phone is dead and no one is supporting me." she replied gloomily.
Soon, Ji Eun and Jungkook arrived to his place. A beautiful young lady named Jungmi, who was his sister, greeted them with a smile and Jungkook introduced her to Ji Eun.
The first thing she did after reaching his place was contacting her parents.
She called up her father from Jungkook's phone. Every ring gave her shivers on her spine.
Imagine being trapped in another country for so many days with no support and then finally getting a chance to contact your family. That was how she was feeling right now.
After about a minute or so, someone picked up the call.
"Hello." someone said.
"....."
"Hello?" a male voice said again.
There were noises of sobbing on the other side now. She couldn't believe she was finally able to talk to her dad after a wait of so many days.
"Appa~~" She cried.
"Ji Eun?" Her father asked.
"Ne appa. Where are you and omma? I've been so alone. I need you. I miss you so much appa." She mumbled and bursted into tears again.
"HANAAAAAAAA... JI EUN IS ON THE CALL. COME FAST." Her dad screamed to her mother while Ji Eun continued to sob.
"Ji Eun, my child, tell us where you are and we'll come to pick you up." Her father said, worriedly.
Listening to this, the girl asked Jungkook, who was trying to comfort her, about his place's address.
"No. There is danger outside. Tell your parents to give me their location. I'll drop you myself." He answered sternly.
After a long talk with her family, Ji Eun was relaxed now. She told her parents about Jungkook, and how he had saved her. The anxiety thriving in her mind all these days was released.
"Thank you so much Oppa. I have no words to express my gratitude towards you. I almost lost all my hope of meeting Omma and Appa. Thank you so so so so much!" She said excitedly. She had never spoken so many sentences to Jungkook altogether.
"OPPPAAAA! YOU ARE THE BEST!" She said and quickly hugged him tight enough to make him startled.
"No problem, Ji Eun. We have to get some food. You must be hungry." Jungmi said, smiling widely.
"Yes. Please." Ji Eun replied.
Jungmi cooked some food for them and they were having it on their dining table while Jungkook was telling Jungmi about today. Jungmi was proved to be a really humble person. Despite of being from the other nation, she treated Ji Eun like her own little sister. The dinner today indeed was filled with laughter and stories.
After dinner, Jungmi washed the dishes and Ji Eun helped her with that.
"Okay Ji Eun. You should sleep now. Here's your room. Tell me if you need something at night." Jungmi said like a mother.
"Okay Unni. Thanks. Good night." Ji Eun obeyed her unni.
But Ji Eun couldn't sleep. She just couldn't help but smile all day. She was just too excited to meet Omma and Appa. This is what you can expect from a 14-year old. Right?
But slowly, after the tiring day, she dozed off to sleep and her dreamland took over her consciousness.
