"Holy Shit! Is this how powerful I am! I'm just level 1, I know I am a dragon, but still!" I spoke, "...Wait, did I just speak?"
I could hear a high pitched voice, almost the same as a child. But I wasn't even moving my mouth. "Ah yes!" I then knew how I could speak without moving my mouth.
Dragons, especially the world bosses, could speak without using their mouth. And its not through their mind, they literally move the air around them like that.
Seeing my status made me even more afraid of the rat; just eating it made me even stronger than a "normal" world boss. It again put into perspective just how overpowered that thing was.
The boosts it provided easily surpassed that of the rank, legendary monster - something only a few players had. Though currently, its stat increase was lower than the stat increase provided by the rank.
It will surpass the increase from the rank. And with them both, I was sure that I would gain a massive boost in my power - though the stat increase was the least of my worries, the skill, the lord of inferno, was a sacred skill, something even level 80 world bosses rarely have, was very strong.
Though I still couldn't figure out what the skill, divine essence did.
'I should probably start to explore more, even though it might be dangerous, I still have to take this risk. Evolving is too sweet to give up on.' I then made my mind on evolution.
Evolving, especially after this one, is going to give me large boost. Anything world boss level - even if the class or race is just the starting ones - tend to get stronger skills - also more - than a normal race/class.
And with the extra mana I got from the evolution - plus the boosts provided to me by that divine bastard - in the future I would be easily be able to spam massive spells.
I then imagined myself as a world boss insta-killing raid groups in a single spell.
'I am going to be that one day, though, there is still a chance that the people in this world are crazy powerful. So I have to be careful.'
It was getting a little late, so I was going to rest for now. After all, I really didn't want my thinking to be affected by anything.
Its was going to very dangerous if I couldn't think properly in a dire situation. Though, the main reason for me wanting to sleep was mostly because of my weak loser self wanting to sleep.
...
"You really think you are going to make me leave this spot!" I sneard at the golden tiger right in front of me.
It was a large tiger, about 5m in length and 3m in height. Pretty huge, but it was only level 6. And that gap was something I could easily manage with my race, skills, boosts, and my rank.
I also found out just now that being a legendary rank monster in this world - just like with the skills - didn't just gave me stronger evolutions and more potent skills. It also increased my instincts, and gave me knowledge on how to use my body (and by proxy, skills) better and more efficiently - it also stacked with the bonuses provided by my skills, so it was very powerful.
I was confident that I could fight a level 10 world boss, unless that thing has killed a divine monster or was a divine monster, or something close to it.
The giant cat seeing me sneer at it roared and then charged, at me. It probably felt that it was being mocked, since there was no way it understood me.
The reason it was attacking me was because I was sleeping on the comfortable place I had found when I discovered this river. And just like I had expected, it was the spot for the tiger - a strong monster.
I would've just ran if that thing was level 11, but it wasn't, it hadn't even reached level 10. So I didn't want to leave this place, since I could beat that thing.
I then used used this opportunity to use my breath. With my inferno magic, lord of inferno, and my breath's element, my breath was way stronger. It was called skill synergizing. It was one of the most important thing in the game, and should be in this world, as well.
Sadly, I still couldn't use magic, since, in Mir Grand, a magic skill, like inferno magic, would only allow the user to learn inferno and fire magic, and make it stronger. I needed to wait for my second evolution to naturally learn magic - though I was only going to be learning 1, and it would continue this trend till level 100, meaning, naturally, I could only learn 9 spells.
'I really need to get a magic grimoire, if they have those in this world.' I thought about the only way, other than classing up or evolving, to learn magic, magic grimoires. I really hoped that they were in this world.
Though, even if they existed, getting one would be a pain in the ass. I wasn't a human, and there was no way I was going to be entering a town or a city with this body. Like who would be stupid enough to let a dragon inside a town or a city.
"Graah!!" the tiger roared in agony as it got burned by my breath. Sadly, for the tiger, I wasn't going to let it get away. I really wanted to level up, and this was really going to give me a much needed boost.
The tiger kept on getting burned by my flame, though, after 10 seconds of continuous use, I finally stopped.
The tiger was still fine, only about 10% of its hp was gone, so it looked at me with bloodshot eyes. Everything in its expression screamed, "I'll kill you!"
Sadly, its bloodlust couldn't scare me at all. That divine rodent was way more scarier than this tiny little kitty. And also because I didn't stop because I couldn't continue - I could breathe fire for 40 seconds straight, without any rests - it's because I wanted to kill it quickly.
The tiger then charged at me, "You are really dumb." I said as I jumped up in the air.
With my stats, I was capable of jumping pretty high - since I was still very small, about as small as I was in my previous evolution.
The tiger, blinded by its rage and bloodlust, couldn't notice me jumping up in the air, so instead of stopping like a rational being, it continued its charge.
It was something I had expected, after all, the thing in front of me was a giant cat. It wasn't smart at all, and could easily get baited.
And the tiger finally reached to place I was in, before I had jumped, it was surprised. It couldn't feel me and was looking for me, and was too dumb to look up in the air.
I was happy, as unlike the tiger's stupid plan, mine was working, wonderfully at that.
I then landed on top of the tiger's back.
The tiger, feeling something fall on its back, started to move around, trying its best to get rid of the thing in its back.
It also roared a lot, I didn't want it to attract other monsters. Sadly, the only thing I could do to shut it up, was to kill it.
'Well, there is no problem with that.' due to the size difference between me and the tiger, I could easily crawl on its body, and due to how sharp my claws were, I could easily dig into its skin.
Which I was currently doing, and because of that the tiger was again roaring in agony. But, I didn't feel anything other than annoyance.
Then with some dexterity, I then moved across the tigers body and quickly slit its throat. It was very easy.
The tiger fell and started to writhe in pain, it couldn't even speak - since I had cut its windpipe. The tiger then started bleeding a ton from its neck, it was probably going to die because of blood loss.
[Level up!]
[You have reached level 3!]
[All your stats are increased by 4!]
Then a series of satisfying notification came in my head, I was pretty happy with them. I then looked at the tiger.
I really couldn't leave it here, after all, it would probably start smelling in the morning, and I didn't want to wake up with this thing rotting - it was also going to attract a lot of unwanted things.
"Well, there's only one thing left to do." I then used my breath to burn the entire thing.
There was nothing I could gain from eating it, though, I still saved some of it. It was going to be my midnight snack,.
After a while, the entire thing was ash. There wasn't anything left - other than the burn marks. I really didn't care that I had killed it, after all, I had done worse before.
I then sighed and then turned towards the pieces of meat I had saved as my midnight snacks.
I then went and ate the meat, raw.
This body seems like raw meat. And if I tried to cook the meat, my body would act automatically eat it before I could anything to the meat.
It was something I didn't like about it; I really didn't mind eating meat raw, it was just was really worried about eating raw meat, since I might get some disease or parasites.
