It just so happened that the first class of the day was Linguistics. The lesson was rather enjoyable despite the number of students who fell asleep. But there was a single student who couldn't help but be bothered throughout the lesson.
Hannah had been in deep thought for a while. She still hadn't received her gift despite having slept and arrived in school. Just how long would it be until she received it. Maybe there was something she needed to do in order to get it.
But the problem was that she didn't know what to do. So she sat there thinking in silence while the linguistics professor was teaching. Alicia seemed to be interested in what her sister was thinking. She just stared at her sister with a curious gaze. Hannah suddenly snapped out of her daze and stared directly at the professor.
She had decided to think more on it later.
Kyle watched Hannah snap out of her daze but there was no curiosity in his expression. He looked to be more bored than anything as he held a feather quill. What Hannah was thinking probably wasn't his business so he just returned to the professor's lecture, writing notes.
The next lesson was supposed to be Geography.

(lunch time)
The day had been almost uneventful with the first few lessons being boring. Kyle and the geography had a talk between themselves after the geography lesson. Turns out the dwarf had only decided to tell Kyle he was suspended because that was usually the reason students were called to the Dean's office. That, however, didn't justify the professor's action so as an apology he offered to pay Kyle with a few potions from the alchemy lab.
Kyle was still bitter about it though.
So now he was sitting in the Crypt(TM) with his friends as they ordered their lunch. Everything within the Crypt(TM) had a price to its name. There was the requirement of having a high rank and then there were the number of expensive meals.
This place was a noble district within the academy and yet the angels didn't mind. They had enough coins to settle their bill so they calmly waited as their meal was brought to them. Alicia had the largest plate that had nothing else but meat. She had also ordered wheat bread and a lot of side dishes to satisfy herself.
Kyle had ordered less food and Hannah just ordered drinks. She planned on stealing from Alicia's plate. The angels enjoyed a good lunch and each other's company. They talked for a good while before they realized everything had been eaten. So a waitress approached their table and cleared everything taking the payment for the meal with her.
So now the angels were sitting in silence as they relaxed. Hannah was the first to strike up a conversation.
"Hey Kyle. How does it feel to have a servant of your own."
"Quite tiresome really... lately I've been hearing weird conversations at the back of my mind. I can't seem to get much sleep either as I constantly fee agitated for some reason."
"Really? well i can't say I've been having the same experience as you. Myrac has been awfully quiet these days. Plus I can't seem to use my ability right now."
"Why?"
"Because I keep hearing some weird message whenever I try."
Hannah then explained the message to her friends and they listened closely. After hearing the story Alicia let out a low whistle. Kyle seemed to be calm considering the situation.
"So we just have to wait twelve hour for this gift of yours?"
"No you don't get it. The message has been the same since yesterday evening. I'm certain twelve hours have passed already."
Hannah had an expression of determination, clearing all doubts Kyle had about her credibility. He believed her but that didn't help the situation.
"So then when exactly are you to get this gift of yours?"
"I can't really say but if I don't get it by this evening I think it's safe to say something isn't right."
Alicia stared st her sister closely. The gift was probably something good but there was the issue of if they never got it.
The gift message was preventing Hannah from using her ability and that in itself was a serious issue. So far Hannah had only summoned two servants and one of them happened to be literal legend. If she could summon more legends then it could prove extremely useful.
But without Hannah's ability their fighting power was currently limited. They could only hope the gift arrived soon.
Kyle on the other hand had a very wide smile. He didn't look the least bit concerned about the situation.
"Don't worry I'm sure it will come soon."
"What makes you think that?"
"What if I told you I can predict the future?"
"There's no way you can predict the future."
"Then let's hope you're right."

(After the last lesson of the day.)
The angels were now at the academy park once again. They had even brought Nanette along with them. They did nothing much except tell stories that kept them smiling for some time. But it soon was time for students to return home or to their sleeping quarters. Nanette was also staying at a sleeping quarter but she shared it with two other students.
She was an A rank and thus her privileges were less compared to the angels. They each had a room of their own but had decided to share one. Nanette was about to head towards her sleeping quarter when Kyle stopped her.
"Want to stay over at our place?"
"What? why would I do that?"
She wasn't one who trusted blindly. But there was no aggression in her tone. Kyle caught onto this and simply gave a simple reason.
"We still have that upcoming test. I was hoping we could study as a group since we all have to do well."
"I don't really mind studying but is it necessary to go to your place?"
"I never said it's necessary. I was just asking if you were willing since we were going to do it anyways."
Kyle had a rather bright smile, he hadn't faltered in his speech once. He was pretty sure that things would work well and if they didn't then they would study nonetheless.
He was only doing it because he considered Nanette as one of their friends.
Nanette noticed Kyle's smile and couldn't help but have one of her own. She was actually planning to study that night as well but it wouldn't hurt to join the angels. She wasn't worried about her roommates as they were nice elves. Surely they wouldn't mind if she went to another group's sleeping quarters for one night.
Right?
"Sure I'll come over."
Alicia was smiling while Hannah chuckled but Kyle had the greatest reaction.
He had a wide idiotic grin as he looked her straight in the eye. He extended an open hand forward as his tone was calm and steady. Nanette wasn't sure why but she accepted Kyle's handshake with a smile. She wasn't sure why he even wanted to have a handshake in the first place.
"I hope we can have fun."
