(Wednesday, evening)
Hannah was sitting at the dining table pretending to read a book. Her friends were talking by the fireplace. The conversation was constantly revolving around the dungeon that Sandee had been talking about. Apparently, it was a pretty popular dungeon that was controlled by the royal family. All forms of adventuring were to be registered beforehand to make the royal family aware of who went in and came out. Sandee had registered for an adventuring party for the entire weekend, even paying an extra fee worth a party of ten.
The fee was a hefty sum, but Sandee said to consider it as an investment of sorts. His exact words sounded something like this.
"Just consider it as an investment of sorts. If you guys can gain combat experience before the class war then it might work towards your class' advantage. I usually go every weekend with two or more friends and we split the gains equally. Unfortunately, all of my other friends are busy having tuition during the weekend so I'm going on my own. I'll still pay for more people in case any of them joined us last minute. So I can't really introduce you to them."
Sandee was a really talkative fellow by Hannah's standards, but he was also quite considerate. Hannah couldn't help but smile as she glanced at the small leather-bound book on the table. Supposedly it was a published book by the royal family about the information of the dungeon. The dungeon's name is "Sparrow's Throne". They had named the dungeon by the first adventurers to discover it over 3000 years ago. The royal family kept the name as an act to preserve the history of the kingdom. Apparently, the dungeon boss was a sparrow resting on a throne made of stone carvings. The book didn't go into much detail about the sparrow king other than saying more information was available at the information desk in the actual dungeon. Hannah couldn't finish the book, as it contained way too much information.
But as she was reading, something kept bugging her. All the monsters in 'Sparrow's throne' were flying types that travelled in flocks. She wasn't sure if she knew of many magic spells that could be of use, and so for her benefit, she started writing them down on paper.
--------------------------------
{Hydro magics;}
1Hydrated Coating
2. Water blast,
3. Hydro shield
4. water mana zone.
{Flame magics;}
1. Fireballs
2. Flame Rush
3. Flame spear.
-------------------------------------
Hannah only had confidence in these 6 spells. She had studied on several others but performing them was something she had no confidence in. Power had to be controlled, otherwise, it could lead to all forms of trouble. Hannah preferred to use the {Hydro magics} than her {Flame magics} since they took less time to cast (In her opinion).
She also had suddenly noticed her mana and wasn't sure of the mana cost for each spell. It was worrying, so she planned to test it later. Then there was what exactly they would need while staying in the dungeon. They planned on staying there for the entire weekend and returning early on Monday morning.
This trip could help the angels improve their strength immensely, or it could be a hindrance. Hannah hoped it would be the former. While Hannah was thinking, Kyle kept glancing at her with a worried expression. Hannah hadn't realized it at all, but Alicia had.
"Is something wrong, Kyle?"
"I guess you could say that. That reminds me, did you learn any new archery magic?"
"Yea, although I only learned two of them."
Kyle smiled at Alicia as he tried cheering her up. She felt as if her progress was much slower compared to her friends, and this troubled her greatly. Kyle had already become proficient in flame magic, and Hannah was knowledgeable in original magic.
Yet Alicia failed to do much other than use a bow she wasn't sure of how to use. She was trying her best to develop her strength, yet she found it hard. Then there were those painful headaches that left her gasping for breath every night.
As soon as Alicia remembered this, her expression darkened, and she stared at her toes. She would have another headache that night and there would be no way of escaping it, other than not sleeping. But what could she do?
Kyle noticed her change in expression and watched her. She looked as if she was ready to crawl into a hole, contrary to the bright smile she was having earlier. Kyle let out a sigh as he placed a hand on her shoulder, making her jump in surprise.
"If anything is troubling you, then just tell Hannah and me, I can promise we will always have your back. Then you can always punch me till your stress disappears."
Kyle let out an idiotic smile as he looked directly at Alicia. She blinked a few times before having an idiotic smile of her own. Kyle was right, she could always punch him till her stress disappeared. Hannah was looking at the two with a tired smile, as she, too, enjoyed the mood. Things were changing at a fast pace and the angels were trying to adjust the best they could.
They had lost contact with Prince Jesus, but they could still progress. The angels could only hope that they would have progressed enough when the world would meet its end...

(At the Crypt (TM))
A rather handsome blonde boy was enjoying a cake. He continuously stabbed his fork into the cake and felt amused as he watched the red jam leak out like blood. He had several other snacks on his table, but the cake was the only thing he had ordered. He was waiting for a certain somebody to show up. He didn't have to wait for much longer before he heard a tired voice.
"Sorry for taking so long, just had to wash up the dishes and close up the pantry."
A short girl entered his view. She was wearing a rather cute looking apron with her hair tied in a bun. She looked quite timid, and her face resembled one of a young child. Yet the boy knew well that the girl was as old as he was. A fifth year.
"It's perfectly fine Phylicia... I was having fun while waiting."
"Is that so... anyway, I heard you recently talked with the angels, is that true?"
"I did"
Sandee couldn't help but smile as he remembered the conversation he had with the angels. It was quite entertaining to watch their constantly changing expressions. Almost as if they weren't sure of their own choices. He looked directly at Phylicia as he calmed down and spoke his mind.
"I doubt the angels realize just how important they are. I decided it would be best to help them grow faster."
Phylicia frowned, which looked more like a pout as she walked towards Sandee's table. She always volunteered to be a server whenever she had time to spare. It didn't take long for more students to appreciate her for it and she soon became popular, despite her appearance. She was also the same girl that the angels had met not too long ago. She didn't play an important part in their lives, yet she held a status far greater than the angels possibly realized...
She sat down and picked up a dish with a cake. She poked it a bit before speaking her own mind.
"The Order won't be happy with your interference, Sandee. I hope you're ready to suffer the consequences for your own actions."
Sandee glanced at his friend and smiled as he cut a piece of cake with his fork.
"I'm ready to suffer the consequences. This is something that I must do, besides, I can never die."
